You should make playlists for your channel based on the season. And most stores absolutely do not sell by the yard. You can generally go down to 1/4 of a yard.
Hi Nick. We are the one's who should be thanking you for sharing your creativity and talent, so we can learn without it costing us a fortune. Thank you from me - Linda, from Texas. I can't wait for tomorrow, as I already have an idea what I'm going to do with mine (once I conquer making them)! I have 3 large round concrete pots with legs I haven't used in year's. I'm going to paint them a color to blend with whichever material I purchase. We have cedar trees everywhere, so I won't have to hunt for that. You're the first one I've seen to make these and they are just so festive and fun I can't wait to get started. Thank you once again for sharing your knowledge and ideas with us. Merry Christmas, a little bit early. Linda
Beautiful! I'm going to make a few and hang on my porch with some Xtra large ornaments. Thanks Nick for sharing. You're very talented Love your videos.
I could see this to make wedding decor. I know if no fabric store that won’t cut the fabric for you but check out the clearance bins. So many different themes you can use while making this. I’d love a snowflake theme. Dollar general store has a great supply of ribbon too
New and different and awesome! It actually reminds me of the pumpkins I am going to make to deliver on thanksgiving morning. I bought nice orange fabric, you make it with toilet paper rolls and I gathered up cool twigs from my yard. Then you take about 6 inches of green fabric and RIP strips with your hands so it is lightly frayed and tie it to the stem. The main fabric is 18X18. I mentioned the idea to my dad and said if in an emergency you need TP you can unwrap the pumpkin. My dad is a very serious man but he told me I can call it a Crappy Craft I guess his joke was going on a real historical notation that the inventor of the toilet was Thomas Crapper. Anyway, love your new cool exciting decoration.
Great creation!! I love it! To use up the leftover fabric you could wrap small ornaments from the Dollar Tree in the same way. They are sold in a package so you gt several for a dollar. Add some small silks, ribbons or lace to decorate. I can see this as a decoration for any season! Use seasonal fabric and decorations. Fun!!
Absolutely beautiful!!! I love everything about this project. The fabric, the picks, the colors and textures and using zip ties to hold it closed!! I'm definitely going to make one. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing creativity with us all!! ❣️❣️❣️🎄🎄🎄
Love it! I’m a DIY Christmas decor designer. I’m also a floral designer. These could be used in so many different ways! Make them in pastels with a smaller plastic football as an egg for Easter. I’ve also used sequined material and use glitter to write someone’s name for a personalized “ornament”! Good as a jack-0-lantern for Halloween 🎃! Thanks for sharing this wonderful idea! Happy Halloween & Merry Christmas 🎄! 👍🏼
It would be cute to do several of these and hang them in front yard trees as ornaments. Use paper instead of fabric, you can get a lot of this stuff at dollar store and Dollar General. You could probably cut the cost of those things in half. Then when Christmas is over, toss them.
What a cute idea. I’m always amazed how much material usually wasted for some projects. You probably could’ve gotten two of the same size bouncing balls made out of that one piece of material. Also, I might glue the burlap piece of ribbon onto the ball and then zip tie all up for extra strength.
I love this! We have two flower pot hooks on our front porch and I've been looking for something to hang there for Christmas and I just found it. Thank you for sharing!
Great video~ I always take flowers off the floor when the scraps fall off the stems in the floral dept. The mgrs of most stores let me have them free for shopping there. I have never had one refuse. Walmart is great for this. Just wanted to throw that by you because I have enough to make wreaths and fill baskets. I rinse them in hot water and drop of soap first.
I was a florist for 20 years....so I’ve made tons of things with a glue gun! This is absolutely adorable and will definitely be making a few. I can’t wait to see the rest of your videos Nick! 👍🏼
Great design! Love it. Helpful hint for the top ribbon; instead of hot gluing it in after you cinch the fabric around the ball, put it in before cinching so it's below the zip-tie. if you tie a small tight knot first, or put a glob of hot glue on it, it won't go any where and you won't see it under the fabric and embellishments.
Lovely idea! A smaller version could be made with water smaller balls for those who want a mini version of this. Also, fabric stores will sell in less than yard increments. There are many more choices out there besides Hobby Lobby as well; Jo-Ann frequently offers 40% off coupons.
I love this! And I can vary the fabric and greenery and flowers and even the size for different holidays! (I'm thinking Easter). Thank you! I just subscribed.
This is a great project to make with my grandkids ( I will be careful with hot glue with grandkids they are 12 and 14 ) they will have fun as I always look for projects to do with them!
Awesome!! Could tack the ribbon on to fabric with needle and thread . Just a thought. Also the berries and greenery as well. And if you have any large outdoor Christmas balls that have any damage you could do this as well :)). Great idea !
Another great crafty mind! LOVE yoyr idea!!! Even as pumpkins too with some vine and big leaves (from dollar store, fall leaf branches added, and take the wrapped wire paper stem from leaf branches to create spirals for the vines) hanging from a porch. 😀 could even attach ribbon first perhaps covering lower half of ribbon closest to ball , then spray paint them metallic orange etc. With crackle paint or additive in acrylic paints. Pretty fall drcor for sure. Milton, Ontario, CANADA
Thanks Nick, what a cute an inexpensive thing to make for a craft fair. Have a small craft fair next month, n will they and make some for that. Love all your videos, keep them coming, please.❤🎀🥂✌😎
Oh I like this so many outside decor items are made for right at the front door. This I can put out on the over hang on my front porch. Thank you for new Christmas decoration.
Thank you so much for this great project! I have made hundreds of crafts but I have never seen this before! I love it! I am planning on making some for gifts this year and I want to make a smaller one to hang in our home year round, using a solid fabric or floral, roses and leaves! I have everything here to make one right now! I closed my daycare and preschool to open another business and I have all sizes of bouncy balls that I had no idea what to do with (besides share them) until I seen this. I will keep a few for this project! Your voice and video is clear and to the point. Another great reason why I enjoyed it. Thanks again! God bless you! Peace, Lynne 🍃💜🍃
New subscriber😊 Love this diy! I might try a fall version of this using orange fabric and adding extra padding to give it a pumpkin shape and add fall forals on top.
Great idea; thanks because I have none. But you’ve inspired lots of people! I’ll try it. I actually had an idea. I have some of the shiny gold and silver light metallic fabric I’ll use.
Wow this is stunningly beautiful! I only found your channel today and have subscribed! I shall look forward to seeing all your other videos! Tfs and God bless you & your family xx
Hi Nick, great project and excellent instructional video. I see a couple of these in my future. We have a large oak tree and they would really make the yard look festive. I'm also thinking that maybe just paint a couple balls gold, or silver and put the top decoration. Might be a little tricky to glue on, but maybe just gold or silver material also. Thanks again. Love PegEgg
This is so Beautiful, Thank you for sharing 🤗... I could make these as door stoppers using a basketball , just a thought 😊... Bunch them in 3's an put one each step going up to door an set a small pepper bah with sand in front of thm w a fake candle inside to help keep it sturdy😉

Beautiful you could make those for weddings too in the brides colors, the styles are endless ...baby showers ooooh so fun
Crafting stores sell fabric in fat quarters, half metres as well as full metres. Various sized balls would look amazing together

I love this and I cannot believe how easy it was. I am definitely going to make one of these. You are so creative and I love watching your videos.
Make sure you tell the person you have this lovely gift this is a balloon underneath. This is a lovely gift.
Connie Charley it’s NOT balloon but actually a rubber bouncy ball. I first thought it was a balloon as well, until I watched the video.
These would, with right colors and bling, be fantastic in weddings
I was thinking that for my upcoming wedding in red and white
@@tonigreenberg3827 Fantastic Ideas!

Thank you!!! You did inspire me!!! Now i want to make all sizes of those ornaments! And not only for xmass, but also for Easter 🐣 season!!👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻
