You really put this experience with the song and album into words for me. I listened to this album nonstop between 7th-10th grade, and that catholic feeling matched my home life and city/school. I’m 24 now, and about a year ago recently revisited all my old music and just got this inexplicable rush of nostalgia. Younger me absolutely hated that time but for some reason I’d kill to go back, even just to see her sitting in her room by herself. After revisiting I also got this cathartic new perspective on the lyrics. “I couldn’t see a thing until I shut my eyes, I never knew a thing until I lost my mind, and I would sell my soul to know it all, but I held the keys all this time.” Younger me didn’t even know this back then, but now, equipped with those parts of me and newfound wisdom, I’m just in shock at how much this entire album makes me want to ascend lol. I honestly feel like people don't actually know about their older stuff, I feel like their older stuff should have MUCH more views, like this, Alligator blood, Chelsea Smile etc. Just for the record I totally support their style change in music, I just think that the people who are just hearing about BMTH now they've only heard the new album, they might feel that it's too poppy and then they just move on without knowing their older stuff.
I really like something about all of their albums. I recently got into them, and although Survival Horror is my favourite. From Suicide Seasom to AMO, they have so many good songs, andd lyrics, that I don't understand the hate their new stuff gets, I also don't get why so few newer fans explore their past albums
Top 10 favs of BMTH: 1: Sleepwalking 2: Memorial 3: Don't Go 4: Happy Song 5: Sleepwalking 6: Drown 7: Deathbeds 8: Go to Hell for Heavens Sake 9: Shadow Moses 10: Hospital for Souls

Tell me everything I need to know
[Breakdown]
Bring out your dead
Bring out your dead, oh
[Verse 3]
So march with me if you believe there's any hope for us
I've been hiding in these trenches for far too long
All is fair in love and war or so they tell me
All is fair in love and war or so they say
[Pre-Chorus]
Come on, come on, get up, get up
I know a place that we can get away from all of this, yeah
[Bridge]
I couldn't see a thing till I shut my eyes
I never knew a thing till I lost my mind
I would sell my soul to know it all
But I held the keys all this time
I couldn't see a thing till I shut my eyes
I never knew a thing till I lost my mind
I would sell my soul to know it all
But I held the keys all this time
[Chorus]
I've been dreaming of us leaving
Everything and everyone we've ever known
I've been thinking all these visions
Must be a sign, so hold on and don't let go
I've been dreaming of us leaving
Everything and everyone we've ever known
I've been thinking all these visions
Must be a sign, so hold on and don't let go
[Outro]
Bring out your dead
Bring out your dead
Bring out your dead
3:16 Goosebumps. Every. Time.
GUIDOSUPREME won’t hear that on AMO...lol

Sonny should do more background vocals for Oliver both there voices would sound amazing together (Like in this song)
I can't believe I didn't realise it was him, this is sick
Too sad so few people include crucify me in their Top 10s
Right? Crucify Me was one of their more intricate songs, and beautifully so. Definitely deserving of a Top 10 spot.
top 15 for me
Gerardo Guillen Rodríguez I highly agree.
Honestly ):
Gerardo Guillen Rodríguez facts
BMTH 2010: iconic of scene kids with styles in music and fashion
BMTH now: still with fashion but fashion of Spice Girls
You know it's good when the track is spun over 300 times. The palm tossing is pretty cool too.
Watching him sing makes me so happy
This song needs more love for how good it is like I swear I'm half the views alone
matt Nichols
My brothers mates with him :P lived like 2 doors down for years :)
omgawwwd :O he is a great drummer :D
***** OMG. You're so lucky... I adore this band. They have the most meaningful songs ever.

This is honestly a top 5 bmth song with not enough recognition
I did this for a talent show and the look on the judges faces were priceless
Listening to this after listening to their new album makes me feel veeeeery sad :(
Well then don't listen to the new album XD
+Micah Campbell lol
I must be one of those rare specimens that enjoys their new stuff just as much as this...
I know. 😭😭 I still love the music though. 💕
NO WAY! there new stuff is bomb!
This is a Call to arms, So grab your guns and get your horses
Only the dead have seen the end of this fight.
This is a Call to arms, so all you fallen soldiers sing with me,
Death or Glory
So march with me if you believe there's any hope for us.
I've been hiding in these trenches for far too long.
All is fair in war or so they tell me
All is fair in war or so they say
Come on, come on, there has to be a better way.
Get up, get up, let's leave this mess.
I know a place that we can get away from all of this.
Come on come on, get up, get up
I've been dreaming of us leaving everything and everyone we've ever known.
I've been thinking all these visions must be a sign, so hold on and don't let go.
No, we can't leave 'til you tell me everything.
So come clean, don't talk in tongues.
It's time to bring out your dead.
And all the skeletons that you've been hiding.
Tell me everything I need to know.
Bring out your dead, bring out your dead
So march with me if you believe there's any hope for us.

Bring out your dead
Bring out your dead
Bring out your dead
Man these guys have had a career. I’m proud of them big time
I honestly feel like people don't actually know about their older stuff, I feel like their older stuff should have MUCH more views, like this, Alligator blood, Chelsea Smile etc. Just for the record I totally support their style change in music, I just think that the people who are just hearing about BMTH now they've only heard the new album, they might feel that it's too poppy and then they just move on without knowing their older stuff.
Indeed
I really like something about all of their albums. I recently got into them, and although Survival Horror is my favourite.
From Suicide Seasom to AMO, they have so many good songs, andd lyrics, that I don't understand the hate their new stuff gets, I also don't get why so few newer fans explore their past albums
Gutiar riffs at 1:18 are freakin awesome
*что ж, пожалуй, вспомню старые и добрые*
Да уж, были времена. Этот альбом и Семпитернал самые годные.

Oh god, their songs make me have really strong feelings basically every morning that I can't explain. I hope one day I can be as good as Matt Nichols.

It’s been 14 years, holy fuckin shit where did time go

This is my favourite song of all time, let alone from bmth. I swear from like 2.44 to 3.00 that little guitar bit brings out so much emotion in me it's too much😭 idek what it is about it's just such a beautiful solo like wtf

Those people who like the albums in chronological order are the real OGs ;) I mean how many of the fans from Sempiternal & That's The Spirits release have gone back to listen to This Is What The Edge Of Your Seat Was Made For and experienced the painful bliss of the sound quality xD
same
ItsPxjj I actually became a new fan but because of sempiternal and I am listening to all of the albums now seeing if I like there older stuff and I like it a lot actually and I love twenty one pilots and BMTH and they are so different which most people say it is weird that I like both so much but whatever
My first BMTH song was Can you feel my heart, then I've started to listen to their older stuff, too. I think there are more of us than you've thought
I did, though I'm defenitely not a fan of thats the spirit xD I don't really like This is what the edge... and count your blessings tbh, but suicide season, there is a hell and sempiternal are in my opinion their best albums ^^
This song still feels relevant..
Why is eveyone putting their favorite songs in the comment section?
I was wondering this too😂
Sousanna Sykes-Quinn-Gaskarth-Biersack-Fuentes Im so confused 😆
because they want to show, they are fans of the old stuff and not the new^^
Cuz we're never gonna get stuff like the old stuff anymore lol
yea while they never mention something about The Bedroom Sessions
or This is what the edge of your seat was made for.
2:00-2:10 is probably the best part in BMTH history
Truly a great masterpiece much love 🥹❤️🤘rock on
