I wish there was a low profile screw capsule for sovereigns. Sometimes the friction fit ones just pop off
Yes have seen that on ill fitting ones or maybe where someone has mixed up different brands and they're marginally different sizes so not a snug seal

Nice lustre on the non graded one, but more golden looking too. Maybe the graded one has more of a matte finush. Who knows looking through a phone screen.

Would be nice to hear some nice cold hard figures between 2 similar coins and 2 different conditions. Current selling prices, predictions etc. You got some lovely coins. Might have to sell some soon for cash but it's either my shields or jewellery. It's difficult as they both can have a small premiums .
Hmmm I'd say if I were in your position it would depend what can get the better return in the current market. Gold pushing to all time highs this week in USD terms and it isn't a million miles away in £ until this past 24 hours
@SovereignSaurus I kind of wish I didn't get into shields and collector coins really, nightmare figuring out best selling price etc condition and rarity and over paying so I'd prefer to sell a few of them and keep the jewellery.
