    Joke* A young couple go on a blind date. They decide to meet up at small upscale french restaurant. They hit it off and have a great evening. They talk all night until the restaurant closes. Neither one of them want the night to end so they go for a walk . It was a beautiful summer night with a full moon. The venture into the park. While walking they find a trail in the park the veers off into the woods. To be flirty the girl leans in and says " its kind of scary out here what if something attacks us? Do you think you can protect me?" He says "you think your spooked, I have to walk out of here alone."

    Low pistol box squats made me realize that I have some strength imbalances in my legs, I think this is a good opportunity to work on that to improve squats when I come back. For pressing, I'm pressing heavy dumbbell that I have lying around, or if you feel brave you can do upside down pushups with maybe 2 platforms (chairs) to create more range of motion, just be careful not to break your neck. Pushups on chairs (3 chairs, 1 for legs, 2 for arms) with a loaded backpack to maintain some bench strength, hit it for reps if you cant load heavy enough, and of course pullups and chinups. Don't use corona quarantine and the fact that you have no access to barbells to get weak. Barbells were invented 160 years ago, humans grew strong way longer than that.

      Program works, make sure you eat & sleep as good as possible under your current circumstances. Don't start too heavy; it'll lead to an earlier reset than necessary. A slight decrease in bar speed with no break down in form for 3 sets of 5 is where you start.

      Andre DrummGOD Lol Drummond was my leading scorer on my fantasy team and won me a championship and 60 bucks last year obviously. Got my gym set up wanted to see where would be a good starting point kind of just dicking around as ripp says pulled 215 1 set or 5 and 165 5x5 touching chest so could do 175 3x5 I’m assuming to start off. I have yet to test my squat but deadlifts scare me honestly just afraid of injuries idk what my 1x5 start could be but I did 215 and didn’t feel like I was going to die so that may be a good starting point. 5’8 195 no experience strength training.

      Get a proper squat rack and vow to never squat or bench without safety pins. Then go for it. Watch the vids over and over, pay attention to form and video yourself. I started with stronglifts 5x5 and have since read rips books and am always tweaking form. I did it all by myself with no coach. It can be done!

    • @dariusgoatland10
      @dariusgoatland10 4 роки тому +1

      @@leatherface9377 Record your sets, post form checks to the forum or reddit - both have active starting strength coaches who can tell you anything you're doing wrong. Recording your sets is big, people who have never lifted weights before don't really have the awareness to determine if their spine is rigid & neutral, & if their technique is otherwise optimal.
      Having someone cue you live is optimal but impossible right now & very expensive, having someone coach you online is also good but can be an unnecessary expense, & getting free form critiques is extremely useful despite the fact that it's free.

    Hello Rip, enjoyed the video. Yeah, we couldn't buy bone-in beef when the mad cow scare was being investigated. Turns out all cattle, inc infected cattle spinal cord, brain, waste trim, was been fed back to livestock in pellet form. Was seen as a cheap and efficient feeding suppliment. This just cascaded the problem. In the end all farms having even just a single case of the disease had to incinerate and bury all their cattle. Feeding practices then changed, all spinal cord, brain now disgarded at slaughter. Best wishes to all those in the colonies!

    The authorities love the power trips they go on nowadays. Gym closed. It was mostly a personal-training facility. Up until yesterday I was allowed to train mostly by myself there; two people at the same time were allowed to train. That ended yesterday. I got kicked out almost literally. The nanny state at full force. Plenty of people in supermarkets, though. I am not allowed to train in a gym, but I am allowed to be surrounded by bored out-of-shape shoppers looking to find bags of potato chips and buckets of ice cream to last them through the night. Sheesh. Also, booze shops are open everywhere. So gyms are closed and booze shops are open?! Government prefers people to drink themselves into a stupor, but getting strong in a training facility is now verboten. I guess when people buy booze, the government rakes in a considerable percentage per bottle. That's probably why gas stations are also still open... Maybe the whole economy is booze and gas (and cow shit, because farms are also open).
    What else is open? Well, I noticed clothes' stores for the women are open. That must be one of those essential sectors of the economy. It is said women do most of the spending, especially the fat ones. If one of those landwhales needs a dress, a whole village in China is busy for a day to cut down the raw materials and stitch the stuff together in some giant net the landwhale can throw over her hide; and later she complains that it cost more than a size she couldn't fit inside. Fucking hideous. Anyway, those shops are open still. Maybe if I go inside, I can get a training session in. Bag over shoulder for reps, if I can avoid getting squashed.
    Won't be long before I kill my first human. If it's a vegan, I'll throw the kill to the dogs; nothing but bones anyway. Gotta keep the dogs happy in these trying times. They won't be content with potato chips and buckets of ice cream. Heck, chocolate would kill them. Maybe the vanilla is okay, but I'd rather feed him vegans. Not enough police cruisers here to save all the human cattle.

    I BET YOU and YOUR DOCTOR
    I bet that all of you can only find the answer to one of these two questions.
    1. How many people died with the Coronavirus in Italy today?
    2. How many people died total (of all causes, not just Coronavirus), in Italy, today?
    99.9 percent of will not find the answer to the second question.
    Italy, according to the prior 5 years, should normaly have around 1650 deaths per day: 1650 deaths from all causes (heart attack, plane crash, cancer, murder, etc.).
    If the "corona virus deaths" total around 800 in Italy per day, and if Italy's deaths from ALL causes (including Coronavirus) only are 1600 or 1700, than the virus should not be considered deadly; it would mean "Coronavirus deaths" are not causing any change in Italy's normal daily death rate. That would also mean causes of death have likely been misdiagnosed.
    If there are 800 "corona virus deaths" in a day, and around 2400 deaths from all causes in that same day, than Coronavirus is a true problem. That would mean that Italy has about a 50 percent increase (from 1600 to 1700 daily deaths) because of Coronavirus, and would mean that the virus is infact deadly.
    It is hard to find a total for all causes of death in Italy for a given day. There are only sites that show current Coronavirus deaths.
    Comparing "virus" daily deaths, "total" deaths, and Italy's 2019 average daily deaths should give a good (and cheap) idea about the virus, while anti-body test and complex scientific methods are being devoloped.
    ua-cam.com/video/3OUu2GSXF1A/v-deo.html

    • @lenisemicolon
      @lenisemicolon 4 роки тому

      That’s an unreliable method. A quarantine scenario would lower other causes of death like gunshots, plane crashes, and car accidents; reduced crime and deaths are being reported in many places. The total number of daily deaths could be lower than the preexisting average because of the quarantines and that still wouldn’t necessarily contradict claims about how deadly coronavirus is.
