That is not true at all the judge literally will not let him speak anytime he tries to explain and educate them. He gets silenced and interrupted, and then threatened by contempt of court.
That's what grace is: God's empowering presence to do what Truth demands, the Law written on your heart, your way of escape from every temptation, your New Testament unmerited favor.
