Hi Mai loved your video just seeing it for the first time Is there any way you can send me info on the items you purchased ? Would like to duplicate it or do something close to it How is garden area holding up? Thank you Donna
Hi Donna! I am glad you like the video. The garden is holding up great, my friend really enjoying it. Here is the list including most of the items I purchased, I hope it will facilitated your new project. 1) 3 Bobo hydrangeas 39.99 each. 2) Outdoor chair set 99.99 from Wayfair. 3) Fountain 129.99 also from Wayfair. 4) Chair cushion from Fred Meyer 30.00 both, when they were 70% off. 5) Large pot 15.00 from Ross 6) Herd and scallion 7) Little wagon, dream sign, 2 mushroom, butterfly and 3 tier planter came from Fred Meyer. 8) Flowers included: Marygold, Arborvitae emerald green, daisy, sweet potato vine, and Ornamental pepper.
This is glorious, I've been looking for "outdoor landscape design ideas" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Giyily Landscaping Yatty - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my partner got great success with it.
This is just superb, I been tryin to find out about "design idea landscaping" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Im 59 yrs old and the only thing I regret not having in my generation was the use of the internet as we have today! How much more knowledgeable I would be at this point in my life and probably done with all the projects I wish I could even start! Instead, I just discovered this whole UA-cam world (besides music videos) in the later years of my life... I don't have the strength to bend over or carry heavy things anymore so doing this would be very exhausting, nonetheless I continue watching to get inspired. Your makeover turned out beautiful and that large planter with all the color blooms, just adorable!
What a forward thinking comment! Glad you discovered UA-cam - even when u did! :) never too late to put some of the knowledge shared here to use. I sometimes arrange flowers from the supermarket based on these videos - super relaxing and easy on the body!
When I moved (down sized) in 2016 I only hooked up my internet and was planning on ding to TV later. Then I discovered You Tube! I ended up getting rid of the TV and only have cable. I see plenty of world events, movies, gardening and all kinds of things on You Tube and the internet. It's a gigantic research tool. Plus the music. Concerts galore. :-)
@@blackswan568 plant them in better soil and give them more water. They do great with morning sun and afternoon shade. So plant on the east side . Good luck.
To finish your garden put down pine bark. It holds moisture in the ground for your plants. Also when it rains that black dirt won't splash up on your fence. Also make sure whatever you plant to make sure the areas you are placing them in is a plant that will thrive in direct sunlight if it's a plant that likes sunlight. Or if the plant needs more shade then it will thrive better. Those gardinas like shade, they will burn up in the sun. It looks beautiful.
The vast majority of people did at one time. Not anymore. People don't seem to have any interest in doing much of anything that doesn't involve partying or tv or video games! It's really sad!
She reminds me of the husband and wife painters who are now painting my house, inside and out. They’re very hard workers. She also has 7 children and is 5 months along with no.8. They are both wonderful hard working people. I will give them all the business I can!

Really enjoyed your video! The only thing I would do different is to fill the holes with water and let it settle before adding the plants. That gives them a good start from the bottom up.

I love the plants & flowers you chose. It is very easy the way you have done it. I totally love it. Now it is full of colour. Great job, congratulations!! 🌹 😊❤️
That turned out beautiful. I love it. I have just started my backyard garden yesterday....It is still in rough shape but I hope it will turn out really cute. I would love to see what you are doing this year.
This reminds me of the back patio at townhouse we owned in downtown Atlanta, GA. It was smaller than yours and I had to carry everything up a flight of stairs through the kitchen/dining area and out the back door! I didn’t have an outdoor water faucet either so it all had to be watered by a watering can! I loved it though...never got the rain barrel hooked up! 😆 You did a wonderful job! Happy Gardening! Thanks for sharing!
Great job Mai. It looks lovely and inviting. I love that you chose such lush plants...almost fluffy! I love lush beautiful blossoms. :-) Thanks for sharing.
One issue with planting those nice hydrangeas close to eschothet, they grow tall and wide. They need to be planted with the space in between them from the beginning so they don't over lap eachother and not show off their nice spread. Always a good habit to read the tags before planting anything.

Maybe she meant budget friendly because she didn’t pay a landscaping company to do it for thereby eliminating the labor costs! Labor would’ve been very expensive!
Look for plants on clearance, most of my plants were kind of damaged or out of season but saved me so much money, Plus I love perennials we have 4 sesons,so bulbs are great they grow and bloom every year
What was she sprinkling on the plants from the little bags?? The products used are expensive. It would nice to know the products used to make the plants thrive.
The flower bed is beautiful! The large planter was too crowed. I think if you planted the tree alone it wouldve been better for it to grow. I do like the idea, maybe try an aloe or agave in the center of the flowers that way they wont compete so much for space and water.
Thank you! I really enjoyed watching how beautiful you made your garden look. Looking forward to some good weather here in the U.K so I can get out there and make mine look as lovely as yours

at last, i have found a video which shows the same hard dirt in your garden.. i have found this quiet difficult to work with so have now decided, i want to add height to mine.. my yard is abt the same as yours but the bed is higher up due to pipes underneath.in the left hand corner of yours you have the same trellis, so i am trying to find a way to add dirt to raise this up. i dont want a raised bed. any ideas....... my theme is jungle with palms ferns water feature.... you have done very well with yours well done. oh what is the stuff you are putting in the holes before the dirt ?
