Apple has to apologize for an iPad ad that was accidentally way too honest. And in our Daily Cancellation, a man claims he was accosted with a racial slur by a Pizza Hut delivery guy. I work at Schriever. I used to work at Buckley. We all end up in both places at one point or another, and Peterson is also included there because the mission set for all three is identical.
My position is actually technically a contractor role at Buckley under the detachment for the squadron down at Schriever. I told them I will not have my wife and daughter anywhere near Denver anymore, so they can either allow me to sit at the squadron and be the mouthpiece for the detachment down here, or I quit. I refuse to live anywhere near that pile of filth anymore.
When I was first stationed at Buckley years and years ago, it was fantastic. I actually saw Denver as one of cleanest cities I’d ever seen to that point. Now my wife is only allowed to go with at least one gun and one dog because I’m not taking risks.
I’m glad to know there is at least one sensible person up there though!

20:20 same crap is happening here in the UK too. Has been for about 20 years. Started with kosovans given free housing fully furnished with all brand new everything. Even freshly decorated. There was uproar once it was revealed that immigrants were getting higher benefits than UK born applicants, and also receiving up to £1000 towards buying a vehicle. Because buses were inhumane or something! More recently there was outrage that asylum seekers from Afghanistan (tbf, they were fleeing persecution by the Taliban) were living in 4 star hotels and complaining about the food while there were military veterans literally homeless and suffering in doorways across the street from those hotels. Our coastguard was at one point ,maybe still, patrolling the waters to not deter illegals but to pick them up and bring them in safely. You can't tell me this is not a organized coordinated effort to flood western countries with illegal immigrants.

As a European living in Europe that speaks multiple languages, has saved 50k and works for an American company, I can't legally move to the US and work for the US branch of said company, because of requirements such as the C- Jabs etc. I am surprised other people can go there so easily.
My wife and I were on the adoption list for five years. During that time, we only managed to match with one mother. Sadly, the week of delivery she cut contact with our agency after asking us for money and kept the baby. I found out later in the year that she left her baby in the car for 7 hours during a job orientation because she had nobody to babysit and the little girl died. It’s hard to wrap my brain around how people’s disregard for life can be so prevalent when there’s so many people ready to take on the responsibility of loving and providing for these children.

I went to Panama last year. They have immigration police walking around everywhere. If they ask you for your passport and you don't have one, they will follow you to your hotel room. If you can't present it, they take you to be deported.

I came with my family from Eastern Europe in 1997. We got some government help for a short while. We lived in subsidized housing that was shoddy, and got government unlabeled food from the food bank, and some food stamps. We were happy to be here, get anything at all and were grateful. We lived humbly, but that's what we were used to. We never ate out, went to movies, took vacations, and shopped in thrift stores, and I never felt like it wasn't enough. We also never broke the law or thought that America needed to change for us instead of us changing for America. The way these people are behaving is making me sick and enraged. I may not be American born but I care about America and Americans.
You came legally, you worked hard to make a living. Showing appreciation to the country that offered basic help is the right thing to do. You say not american but if its where you call home then you are american. Very nice to see some do appreciate being here.
Every American I know welcomes immigrants like you with open arms. One of my coworkers/best friends is a Chinese immigrant. She came here legally and worked her tail off to have a comfortable life. She has assimilated to our American culture but still can hold her culture close and introduce it to everyone around her. She gives Chinese lesson to pre schoolers, cooks amazing Chinese food for her coworkers, throws a Chinese New Years Party for all of her American friends all while embracing all of our local Cajun culture and traditions. That’s what America is about. Come here legally, assimilate to your surroundings and share your unique culture with those around you.

I knew the bird flu was coming. My ultra liberal anthropology professor has been giving us constant updates on the virus all semester. He was one of the most vocal people in my state when it came to advocating for extreme lockdowns during covid and suspension of civil rights for things like forced masks, lockdowns, and vaccines.

Bird flu again? Wasn't this a topic back in 2007 - 2009, something around this time? Before the pig flu and after the SARS epidemic? So do they recycle this stuff now? Because at least here in Germany, we had panic because of bird flu. I remember reports about a family of swans in a see in my city that died from bird flu. So it wasn't just already a topic, it was just ~15 years ago 🤷♂️

My iPad is 10 years old and at least 15 pages thick. Oh how I dream of the iPad that is only 5 pages thick. The only innovation Apple does now is to make their products thinner which causes them to overheat and fail faster forcing everyone to replace them sooner. The failure rate of laptops by all manufacturers has increased exponentially faster in the last 5 years as they make then thinner and thinner. Reliability is pathetic now and buying older models is a better ROI.

My dog recently got sick, and I joked that it was "Dog Flu" because there's bird flu and swine flu, so why not dog flu? I think they should give it a go next time.
Now that you mention it, that's interesting that dog flu's don't jump to humans. Swine and bird flu outbreaks generally start in Asia bc people live in close proximity to their livestock there. The more time humans are exposed to those viruses, the more likely it is that a variant of that virus will be able to infect humans. Yet, humans around the world live in closer proximity to their dogs. Dogs were the primary vector for rabies to humans. (That's why most places in the 1st world require you get your dog vaccinated.) Why not the flu then? Hmmm...
You joke but given how many homes have dogs, I could easily see them push this, and worse it would convince a lot of people to unnecessarily put their pets down. People were dumb enough to wear two masks and never leave their house for 2 years, they are easily convinced to do just about anything

The fact that a child has value only if the mother wants it is beyond insane. What about society? Should we not value the life of a child even if the mother doesn't? Isn't that what being a civilization is all about? Once the mother declares that she no longer wants a child, then it is no longer her "property" and she has no right to determine its future (or lack thereof.)

I heard _Let me grab a signature, if you don't mind there._ There was a lot of noise due to the shuffling of papers, but that's what he said. The captions had the same thing. I could've played it even slower, but there was no need. Oh, and Matt sounds totally drunk at half-speed. You have to try that, so get ready to laugh if you do.
Didn't care about the last "pandemic" or the hysteria, wore a mask precisely 3 times when i had no choice. And i don't intend to buy into this crud either. In my city, the Domino's pizza delivery guys wear masks and absolutely refuse to face you as you pay for your pizza and they give you your pizza. They literally have their heads and faces turned away as tho they're terrified of dropping dead by even making eye contact.
If the pizza guy said anything, the black guy would have created a HUGE deal about it on the spot. I listened to it 20 xs, and i can't tell what is said at the end. If the n word is there, i would bet anything it is deepfaked. And yes, you can add words digitally to a recording. It is so easy to do, it's scary.
