Thank you so much! I've moved to a big city recently and couldn't go for a walk into the woods for weeks, feeling more and more like an animal in a cage! You gave me a chance to breathe more freely.
I was finally able to stay on the treadmill for 45 min. Thanks so much for making my morning delightful with a walk around Lake Samsonvale. From Judi in Villa Rica, Georgia!!
Thanks for this virtual walk. I live in the city and there are no beautiful nature walk areas near me. This allows me to get on the treadmill and using the youtube app on my tv look at your walk and time the treadmill to the speed you are walking and feel like I am actually walking in a wooded area next to a picturesque lake.
thank you so much for posting this! I wasn't sure how I'd do without music but thought I'd aim for 15 min but found myself completing the walk! I walk on my rebounder and this pace was just right for 40 min. feel great!
That was such a fantastic "hike!" Listened to an audiobook while walking on my treadmill and really enjoyed this scenery. Thanks for posting such enjoyable footage.
I am grateful for this video. When it is freezing cold outside and there is a lot of snow; when I am not able to do a more strenuous workout, this video is excellent. Thanks for sharing it! :)
Just want to thank you for taking the time to alow us to join you on this walk!!! I usually walk by myself but you're a pleasure to walk with!! On my next walk I'll be sure to look you up so we can take in the scenery LOL!!! Thanks for the upload again!!!
I've got a few GP3's Black now that I use. I like the glass lens and higher frame rates to integrate slo mo into movies. I've found the steadicam the best way to remove the jitters (left/right, forward/back, and up/down) and better than the chest mount or head mount. I also use an extendable ski pole which I mount the GP3 with a bicycle mount. I find that's pretty handy as well and use that a fair bit. Have a look at my recent video for Round Hill Day 3 and you'll see me swimming around with it.
Damn how awful it felt when I finished this great video!! Thrown back into reality in this city life with homework and bitches in school. How great it would be to live in countrysides, where life is simple and people are friendly. I've always been so envious of villagers in countrysides!! Now I feel sad again... shall watch this video again and take in the magical scenery, which provided to me serenity and tranquility...
Bookmarking this one. So nice to have the trail all to myself. My favorite part was when the bench appeared and it was possible to have a broader view of the lake. I'm wondering if it were possible to do this walk at another time of year might there be anything blooming, greener, or fauna? Or, is always dry like that?
What a peaceful walk! Thank you for a nice trip. May I download this video and use a part of it as a background layer of my on-work movie clip? Surely it's not for commercial use and I'll disclose the source :-)
Yeh. Forget about those pay ones. See if you can download the HD version from youtube using something like Internet Download Manager. That way you can play it a few times without racking up big internet downloads. It's getting quite nice out there at the moment, coming into Autumn so I'll should really get out and do an updated one.
Done. I'll load up a twenty minute walk at medium pace, through a rainforest sometime over the next day.It was a bit dry when I went through but should still be fun to have you along with me.
It's pretty flat most of the way around with a few detours into the gullies. I'd recommend a 5 degree incline. Did you try ua-cam.com/video/znV8hfNiSkc/v-deo.html
You can try a program like Internet Download Manager. It will put a pop up on the UA-cam video when it loads and you can download to hard drive. Or look up "how to download" UA-cam movies on UA-cam. :)
Should I load up another walk of the same track but in winter?? Or suggestions for another scenario? Beach, rainforest, mudflat?? I have a new GoPro2 so it will be a bit clearer.
I was using a hand held steady cam (Hague MMC) I'll drop a link to the website in my video description but you'll find it quick enough with a google search.
would you allow me to use clips from your beautiful video to put to a song...I am a small channel....and I would give a link to your video in description box....the songs are to share for encouragement

Awesome! Gave me something else to stare at, while on my treadmill, than the TV or wall.

hey! do you have any idea what the gradient of the walk was?

Thanks i walked it on my treadmill today!
No problems. Go right ahead.
Can I use this video as background for my music?
It is a Hague MMC Steadycam.
Hi Deborah. I'll do up a beach video as soon as I can, probably this weekend, so keep an eye out.
are there any risks ?
Not really. Maybe an odd snake on the trail but very unlikely.
Should I load up another walk of the same track but in winter?? Or suggestions for another scenario? Beach, rainforest, mudflat?? I have a new GoPro2 so it will be a bit clearer.

That's fine Ray. You go right ahead and put a link somewhere in your video - Danny
Please do a beach one!!

Do you have any idea of how many meters/Km/miles you walked in here?
The walk is 3.22km.
Thank you for the info!
@dtdan65 hi i'm back , sure a beach walk or rainforestwalk would be great too, can't wait..................;)
Question what camera do you use to make these films?
It was a GoPro 2 on a stabilised gimble.
Looks like one of those scenes in a teen slasher movie filmed from the POV of the stalker.
If you like this video, I’ve loaded a few free beach walks along Fraser Island on my Vimeo.com channel - search - people - Danny vdw
I wish the cameraman would stop eating potato chips. And the cameo at 2:00 was unnerving.
Wait Waaaait!!! You're walking too fast. Slow down....
The clearling of the throat was annoying AF!!!
