I have been trying to understand how to troubleshoot and repair these units and your videos are very helpful. One question if you wouldn't mind taking time to answer. On the ADT cube I am working on... AD-23914-C-A-2.05 - It is very much the same layout with the 3 phase IGBT inverter, however, it has a massive choke and a 600V HGTG30N60A IGBT and diode in the circuit that emits to DC- rail. I do not understand the function? If you come across one, could you make a video explaining the high side drive circuit on these units? Thanks again. Please continue to post more videos.
I have answered my own question with some more research. What I have is a Boost converter circuit. This is due to the 120V input voltage not being high enough for the load.
I have more than 20 years fixing motor controllers. Cybex use the same cube but the instructions from the console are diferent, both use a RS232 protocol from the console to the cube. In the cube you can find the power board and the Logic board, all can be fixed except if the microprocessor fail in the logic board. If the power module fail maybe the driver circuit was burn. I test this modules in my lab using my computer and USB to RS232 converter instead the console for the test. Cybex and Lifefitness are my primary market but I fix many others. The IGBT and the diode in the module can be easily changed but pay atention to the number HGTG30n60A if the number comes with "4D" the transistor comes with a diode inside HGTG30n60A4D. Semiconductors will be purchased from trusted seller like Digikey, Newark or Mouser. Best Regards.

I have taken one apart recently and removed a lot of componets just for testing and learing, trying to draw the circuit by reverse engineering. I am a novice at this, learning during the covid break and trying to understand the order of operations for these cubes. It would be wonderful if you did a video on your channel of your set up to test the boards using your RS232 connection. This is very interesting and exciting for me and I would love to learn how this is done. Thank you again for your response. It is wonderful that you take the time to help out people like myself. One board with IGBT modules and motor output. The second board is the processor chip board, with the output terminal for incline motor. Do you receive response? Cube comes with two boards inside, lower board is the power board and upper board is the logic. I think Q11 is in the logic board? Best Regards.
