Top job explaining and hands on showing.Watch from begining to end.
I just got a new job with a restoration company and I'm trying to get a head start and lean as much as possible before its time to dive into the Xactimate classes. I don't want to be overwhelmed but your video's put me a ease a bit and helps me learn what I'll be doing so thank you!
Glad to have helped! If you struggle to get started, give our office a shout!

Thank you! Great stuff!
Glad you liked it!
This seems so easy once you figure out the program. The hard work seems to be pictures and measurements and the roof. Then pricing or matching materials.
I'm new and this was great. Thank you.
You are so welcome!
Watched through the whole thing! Very good info, even for Newbies!
Glad it was helpful!
I watched from beginning to end. Appreciate your work.

I watched the whole three hours. I am new...got level 2 Xactimate recently. But you are right....it does not get you ready to do what you just did.
Good stuff learned alot
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
My question is on this house it seemed more like a suspicious claim. As an adjuster you don't make that determination? Or did a tornado rip the roof off and a years worth of water damage and then then trying to make repairs themselves and finding out that they could make a claim. Just have never experienced a water claim like this one but then again I am not an adjuster yet.
When working on the bedroom 1 estimate items, why did you times the exterior walls by 8 for the tear out and replace wet insulation description?
Great tips. Is there a reason that you are not using the mobile app for the sketch which in turns allows for the photos to be prelabeled? Is there a reason that you are not using the mobile app for the sketch which in turns allows for the prelabeled photos within sketch.
Watching from Kenya
Welcome!!
Just watched the ENTIRE video! VERY new to me!COMPLETELY GREEN! Know someone in the water damage/restoration industry whose business is growing. Wanted to get more of an in depth look at what goes into writing an estimate for those types of claims. LOTS of information and seems like something I could do. But know there's much to learn to get to that place in which you've drawn up that "sexy" estimate! THANKS for sharing your knowledge!
New to this adjustor game, If the fireplace gets water damage do you label that and mark as if it needs repairs/replacement?
can you make the xactimate screen bigger?
There is no six figure macro link available to download!!
How to estimate bulkhead ceiling with Xactimate
I watched all 3 hours! Tell me more!!
Heck yeah Tommy!
How do I find a property loss estimator using the software in Broward county?
I can't help with that. :(
$30,000 is to low for that project my friend. As a general contractor will be around $65,000 in Tx.
I like where your head's at!
I came across this today. I am considering going into being an adjuster. Have Real Estate License Texas. I have several rental properties and manage several others. Spent 14 years managing Class A High Rise Towers in Downtown Dallas. Have worked with insurance companies in both high rise and residential. Residential had my roofer teach me a great deal on claims. So I am well versed in the jargon for high rise and residential.
I understand I need to get licensed in several states and travel. I would like to do this for the next 10 years using exactimate since it seems to put you in a Class A adjuster category.
Are you an independent adjuster or with a company? If independent, you work fast obviously. I like the style. It's clear and to the point. That's what insurance looks for I would assume.
Obviously you are paid by the job. Is it a percentage? Or a flat fee? Are you doing well yearly? I assume it is like real estate. Save your money when things are slow or do you always stay busy? Starting off I will have to build up clientele. Straight to the point. How much are you averaging and do you get free time? Thank you
Quick question. Do you have to draw a sketch or just the estimate? I'm new to all of this
You should always draw the sketch!
How are you measuring the home to get those precise measurements to create the layout?
Hey Ralpheal! Basic laser measurer. :)
@@AdjusterUniversity Thanks. Any recommendations?
What is the cost for the macro?
What about a home that has content's in it
It says on the site this is free when you go to the cart it’s not?
Hey! I'm not exactly sure what you mean. :(
What program are you putting the photos in
Xactimate :)
Put your money where your mouth is. lol Grant Cardone, 90 days, $5m LOL not saying its 100% legit but you could give it a go.
