The videos are a mixture of beginner through Level 2 Xactimate certification. If you study and learn all of them, you should be able to pass Level 2 certification.

@@Queso1448Yes! I'm on my 4th claim. The learning curve is extremely steep, but videos like these help a ton! (Plus Daniel's macros)
@@BrianBadBass that’s good to hear, i am just starting to do my research and trying to get in

Hey Daniel, this is a great video it has really helped me. I'm a new project manager/estimator for Belfor Property Restoration, we have some training videos here to watch however your videos were much better. Thank you!
@BELFOR-ESTIMATOR wonderful, I am glad to help and thank you for your purchase of the macros
Bravo
Thx
Thanks
You’re welcome
Great video! Really thankful for your content. I’m currently on an wfh auto deployment but want to transition in to field adjusting eventually, wanted to know do adjusters usually get a truck/ladder equipment before seeking field deployments?
Thank you for your question and thanks for the appreciation of my content. As far as a truck and a ladder, I would definitely not buy a truck. Very expensive on gas. Buy a crossover where the seats will fold down. Even an electric vehicle would be a great option in the future to plan for. Get a fold up ladder and a smaller fold up ladder. Save up your money, get all the stuff ready so that if they ever deploy you for daily or CAT Claims, you are ready.
@@danieltheadjuster Thanks for your response!

Amazing video, thanks again! I’m definitely finding your videos helpful. I’m currently trying to get my level 1 certificate in xactimate and using the free trial but I’m unable to build an estimate because I don’t have access to the price guide (assuming it’s because of the free trial) Do you recommend any additional places to get training?
Unfortunately, there are a lot of expensive courses out there. I used AdjusterPro, a long time ago, but cannot give a recommendation today, since I do not have knowledge of their course. I think that you might just spend the monthly charge for 1 month and crash train yourself from videos and other sources online. You might be surprised to find that you can teach yourself just fine. It's all about the desire to do it, and it is amazing how well we can stick to something when we have a time crunch assigned to it. Good Luck!
As a field adjuster would you be the person that deals with the supplements or does somebody else handle the rest of the claim after you send in your initial estimate? I’ve heard of adjusters having all different kinds of authority, I’ve heard that some adjusters settle on sight and I’ve also heard that some adjusters don’t determine coverage at all, I’ve heard of some adjusters dealing with the claim until it’s closed and I’ve also heard of adjusters that only send in the initial estimate and somebody handles the claim after that.
I’m a little confused as to what role the field adjuster would play after they send in there initial estimate.
Do Dailey and CAT adjusters have the same authority?
Good question. I would have to say that the role of the Independent Daily Adjuster has completely changed to be solely, Inspection only, document the damages, talk little to nothing about coverages, and turn over the claim to the Desk Adjuster. He rarely sees the claim again, unless the Desk Adjuster is unsure about the photos or documentation you provided, or they receive some crazy contractor estimate that needs to be reviewed.
As a CAT Adjuster, this is the same role. I have never settled on site with the carriers that I am handling, and I’ve handled about 15 different insurance companies.
Supplements come up every once in a while, but I get paid for that work by an increase in the fee schedule.
The insurance carriers do not want us making decisions for coverage, so it’s actually a pretty easy role to play on site. I can just pass everything on to the desk adjuster and tell the insured that they will call them in about 7 to 10 business days to discuss everything.
95% of my claims are handled on the first inspection.
It is possible that staff adjusters can issue payments, but I am not familiar with that role since I have never been a staff adjuster. These adjusters are employees of the carrier.
Hey Daniel, thanks for the great video - is the macro deal still available?
Yes it is!

Hi Daniel, Do you have certain codes that you use for billing for initial sketch and uploading of sketch and inspection?
The fee schedule for your services is provided by the carrier and given to the firm. They will give you a copy when you are on their roster. Each firm and carrier is different.
Hi Daniel I want to thank you for the video definitely learned somethings but i want to know how to get the token in the notes.
Tokens are created by Xactimate. You can search the web for a list of tokens. Then you use a word document and place the word between two square brackets. Once that word document is populated through Xactimate, then the info will show up.
Great teaching. How can I get the macro ?

Hello Daniel, I am from Bangladesh. I am currently working for REO, property preservation companies based in USA. I am familiar with repairbase, xactprm for bidding/estimating property repair works. I have been following some fb groups and learned about this xactimate estimation career. I will highly appreciate if you please help me by answering the following questions:
1. From where can I start learning?
2. Where can I get certification for this course?
3. Anything else you would like to advice...
Thank you in advance!
Thank you for your comment. My suggestion is to go to the beginning videos of this channel as I walk through the entire process of becoming an adjuster. There also are many paid courses that are online that you can take but I cannot give any recommendations. Thanks for watching!
How do I write to replace painted fascia ?
I believe I have a macro with all of the lines items listed, if you purchase the set. But typically it would start with the linear footage of the fascia, then exterior prime and paint the replaced piece, then power wash the remaining fascia and paint the rest 1 coat of exterior paint.
Where can we get your note templates? Would love to use them
@Queso1448 Unfortunately I don’t offer those. But as I continue to use the same text on every photo, I just made a notepad, that I can copy and paste from. Also, there’s a stamp feature in Xactimate that you can save these.
Can use a drone instead of getting on the roof?
As an independent adjuster, we are not allowed to use drones. Maybe one day
can i download xactimate program for a free trial period..?
Yes, I believe you can try Xactimate for 30 days
Daniel can i get X1 training certification from you.
Unfortunately, at this time, I’m not offering one on one training or certification
How long did it take you to take the course?
It will take 2-3 weeks to prepare for the course. Level 1 and 2 Xactimate exams are tough.
@@danieltheadjuster I do appreciate the feedback.
@@rened.castillojr you are welcome!
Do you teach Xactimate?
Unfortunately Not! Sorry
Can I make money as an adjuster?
Lots and lots and lots
@danieltheadjuster lol...I like that.....which training school is state recognized in Tennessee?
Check out catadjuster.com. They have good training programs for Adjusters, but I’m not sure about Xactimate.
