I started being a diy person bc I had anxiety. But now I’m open to going to places. I prefer to do nails diy cuz you never really know if the salon is disinfecting/sanitizing their stuff. I honestly think 90% don’t but people just don’t care
I want to try diy lash extensions. And waxes. I tried doing my own nails… let’s just say I’ll stick to a tech or salon 😂
I recently just started wearing press on toe nails and finger nails because I wasn’t satisfied with the end results at the salon and I was paying almost $200. Press on everything best thing ever!!!😊
But what glue do you use please? Cus all the ones I’ve tried do not last
@@trophyskye510 I use a gel nail glue but you will need a UV nail lamp to cure the nails and I also use gel top coat to make them hard.
@@trophyskye510This may sound crazy but if I don’t feel like using the gel glue that I have to use my uv light with, I use crazy glue or gorilla glue. Just make sure you lightly file away the shine on your nails so they are a little rough and there are no oils on them. That will definitely help the nails stick better. I use it on both my fingernails and toenails and I’ve never had any damage or anything
@@toyia8158Girl don’t use Gorilla glue. Try this instead! 1. Get some regular nail glue like Kiss brand to something 2. Purchase some Acrylic powder, any brand 3. Prep your natural nails really well; push back cuticle and buff nail surface 3. Get your press ons, put glue on the nail 4. Take the press on and dip it in the acrylic powder 5. Put glue on your natural nail 6. Put the press on nail on your fake nail and hold for 20 seconds. Then you just dust off excess powder and repeat for all nails and you’re done! I promise it will last as long as a full set from the salon!
Girl I love you... you splurge where it is important and save where you can. I love press on nails/toes, nivea creme and V05 Shampoo and their hot oil treatment. NIVEA, DIAL BAR SOAP AND V05 will always be my holy grails!!
The conditioner is good but the shampoo is drying for me .
@@aaileyahunique1398 it's my go to when I take down protective styles gets my hair squeaky clean and doesn't strip the oil.
Definitely been turning into a Do it at Home girly because no one ever gets it right for me . Only exception is braids !
girl i tried that V05 but honestly after you use that shampoo opt in for a thicker more nourishing shampoo just for curls followed by a nice conditioner. Thick curl cream like as i am for over night and protective braids. I find that looser creams are drying and flaky. The thicker creams really hydrate and train your curls xoxo love the video as always.
Sis had me at press on for toe nails! I didn’t even know that was a thing. Saving more coins it is! 💅🏾
it looks better than most pedicures, all you have to do is file it to the shape you want and it can last up to 2 weeks 🔥
I started feeling the same about my morning coffee recently and I switched to green tea, I feel so much more energy after, if u like a more smoothie texture then get a green tea matcha latte

Yes coffee is definitely an anxiety booster. I discovered that years ago. I couldn't figure out why I was so anxious. Caffeine. Energy drinks, some teas as well. Drinking key lime water first thing in the morning is the best or warm lemon/ginger water with honey 😋
I love the fact that you do almost everything by yourself !! You save money and you have control 🙌🏾
I love how practical you are and you do a beautiful job!! I do most of my selfcare at home also because nail salons can damage your nails with the acrylics making them so weak. Nowadays it’s so hard to get an appointment at the hair salon when you want it they are booked out for 2 months or more and it just leaves me frustrated.
No lie self maintenance done by yourself is so relaxing. No long waits, no big crowds, no dirty tools, no traveling long distances, way less expensive & in the comfort of your own home. I had a hate crime committed against me and lost my hair recently & was forced to loose all my hair so I feel your pain. But hair thankfully grows back. & yes would love to see your full self care routine. You & Brianna Monique have the best vlogs (to me). Glam but still down to earth. Happy holidays 🫶🏽

Tatcha skin care is the GOAT! Idk what’s in the products but they work. They are the like the only products as a whole that clears my skin and makes it glowy. Worth the money for sure.

Omg, I love love love doing my own nails and toes too! I’ve learned how to gel x nail extensions and haven’t looked back to acrylics. And press ons on the toes are a game changer!

I absolutely positively love this pamper me video this is so wonderful in so many areas....it's very therapeutic and it's very good for us. We have everything coming at us 100 miles an hour everyday so we need to shut down put on candles have a glass of wine, turn your bathroom into a Zen spa. Do your favorite facial mask.... and just soak in the tub. These simple things are wonderful for us to reboot and recharge and make your bathroom your sauna your spa even little things that you pick up at Target they're not expensive and you can turn your bathroom into a beautiful spa.. A we are with you on all of this 😊
This is literally the goal! To do all the maintenance tingz at home and save a dollar or two. I’m learning to do my hair (which tbvh I’m lazy at it).. I’m definitely into press ons and I’ve recently gained interest in learning to do my own pedicure and toenails!

Try Chai tea and you can still add your creamer or some sort of syrup to it. Maybe try vegan creamer & sugar free syrup or coconut sugar so it’s sweet but you’re not piling on the regular sugar and high fructose corn syrup which is used to sweeten a lot of things but it’s not good for us. Hope this helps 🥰💕
Also, try a pumice stone for smooth feet. I’ve seen a lot of nail techs say the cheese grater isn’t good and I think it’s actually illegal to use in salons from what I’ve heard but it makes the skin grow back rougher than before
