Ive just bought one, and im dreading setting it up, after watching that im dreading it even more, all these tech tutorials make things look so easy, they rarely are, im psyching myself up to try it at the weekend. ND tutorial videos are way too fast, slow them down for numptys like me, theres so many stages to get your head round.
Ive been saying exactly the same thing, glossy brochures to sell you stuff and not a lot of back upon instructions... At least there are some instructions for this
@@BigBirdIsTheWord Did you get yours to work? I got mine to work by changing the name of the network on the repeater by one character. For example, if your Deeper has "Deeper CHIRP+ 123A", on the repeater enter "Deeper CHIRP+ 123B". After rebooting the repeater, on your phone choose the "B" network. When you open the Deeper app, you should be connected to the Deeper. The ND manual is misleading (at least for some of these Vonets repeater units, keeping the same name does not work).
Would of like a step by step set up video! Not everyone is a technical professional!

What is the maximum distance I can expect for deeper chirp+2 from shore?

Yes! Use this with my ND1 and Chirp* and will not miss it. You find more infos in the ND1 Group or ND2 Group

Can you use this on any boat with a built in deeper
Yes, sure. You can use with any deeper no matter if built in or used as mobile casting sonar.
When setting up at end when press the reboot button it just continually spins doesn’t seem to say completed
Mines showing the same going to test it on a lake later. Ill see if it works without the reboot

How do I unlink my deeper from the range extender when I want to connect my smartphone directly to the deeper?
Don't turn the range extender on. If you want to link a new deeper to the range extender then restore factory defaults (Reset).

Wifi does not show on phone, please help
Make sure the router is switched on and reset it first. Then wait a minute and see if you can see the WiFi in your phone's wifi picker.
