Hi thanks for the video so if you purchase a software and then want to sell the boat later on, will it still have the auto pilot on? Sorry if it sounds stupid thinking of getting on
I couldn’t tell you mate, that might be a question for ND.
I used a boat for the first time in France this year, wasn’t the ND boat. What’s the hook release for, as like you, I put my rig into the hopper? Is the hopper closed manually after it’s released too, or can you close it with the remote?
You can keep your rig out and drop bait in different locations without dropping your rig!
The hooper stays open but doesn’t get in the way at all

The autopilot is very good and accurate, well worth the extra in my opinion. 👍
How often do you use the autopilot?
@@TheCarpyTraveller Pretty much every time I use the boat.
Plus points are accuracy and very easy to use, also you can save your spots onto the app so you can go straight to them next time.
The home feature I find very good, and would use that even if I wasn’t setting spots.
On the downside I find the software can be a little buggy at times and I’ve had to contact ND to get my auto pilot reset a few times, (they have always done this very quickly even out of hours).
This seemed to be a bigger problem with the older version of the app, I’m now using the latest version which is better but does need an internet signal so you can log in.
Overall though I don’t think you can get better for the money and I’m very pleased.
Oh, a couple of other points, I wouldn’t rely on the autopilot to take me tight to a snag, set it a couple of yards off and manually fine tune the position and also the boat runs a little slower when using the auto pilot.

Definitely improves the boat in my opinion

Im struggling here to get mine synced ive done all the procedure but im getting lights flashing just want it to work.basic not worried about all the gps stuff just want it to work does it only kick in in the water as ive been doing it in the kitchen as i watched video where guy just turned it on kind regards jamie
When you mean sync do you been just get it to work or do you mean when it spins around and find of calibrates itself?

Do you mean automatically close ones opened?
If so no they do not.
How come you placed your hook inside the hopper and not on the hook release?
I just find it easier to put it in the hopper

The app is free however you pay for auto pilot.
I just wrap up and use horizon markers, just like casting but less disturbance
Hi, what’s the noise level like? Is it quite loud when taking it out?
I mean you can hear it but it wouldn’t wake you up if someone next to you is using it!
Hi how do you put the rig and line on it by using the hook holder
I just bring it through the bottom of the hopper and place it in with the bait and then is all drops at the same time
How long does the controller battery last
Honestly I’m not sure I’ve only ever charged it when I thought it’s been a while so I guessing it lasts ages
Can you save spots to remote and manually boat out to the saved spots ?
Yeah believe so! I just clip up and use a marker keep it simple

Yes! As standard you get GPS which shows on the app! However you don’t get autopilot

I’m not sure, however 2 of us have used it over a 48 hour session and didn’t really use any life.
