Loved this vlog and that shed with the tractors and cars was an absolute treasure trove ... just fantastic. Love your vlogs. I'm not trying to stalk you but living in NI and having given Bob and Jenny Earnshaw some pointers I'll be very happy to share with you and any of your subscribers. The main thing is most of the caravan parks close at end of Oct and generally don't re-open until mid March. There will be a few caravan parks open and none of the top sites. Ireland is green for a reason .. it rains .. a lot. I find the best time of year is May/June (our schools close at the end of June until end of August so the really good/popular parks will be choco block). September is usually another lovely month weather wise. One of your viewers recommended you take a week and do the North Antrim Coast .. I'd have to agree. You could do the East Antrim Coast driving North from Belfast (Liverpool ferry (8hr crossing) to Belfast is a bit pricey so I'd recommend you come over for at the very least two weeks and ideally three weeks). The Liverpool ferry has pet friendly cabins (you definitely want to get a cabin and at least you have your own facilities and a bed if it is a choppy crossing) which are great and the kennels aren't bad either. It's the longest crossing to Ireland but it gets you into Belfast. If you're bringing Mabel and she travels via LIverpool to Belfast and home the same way then she won't need any checks (I'd bring your pet passport just in case though and the rules may change .. there's another FB page which is super helpful called Animal Health Checks). If you come into Dublin (from Anglesey) or Rosslare (from Fishguard) the crossings are shorter but there will be a bit of stress with Animal Health Checks/Rabies vaccinations etc and unless you've had the pet passport updated it's more complicated than it should be. I'd suggest you come into Belfast (either from Scotland but that adds a few long days driving for Rob) or from Liverpool (ferry crossing prices are pricey) then drive North along the Antrim Coast Road - you could stop at Glenariff or Cushendun and then go on up the coast road to Bushmills and stay at Ballyness (it and Rushin House outside Enniskillen usually share No 1 site reviews) - stay a few days at Ballyness and visit Ballycastle, Balintoy, Giant's Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, Portrush, Portstewart. There are loads of filming points along this route from the Game of Thrones scenes. You could easily go over into Co Donegal (Republic of Ireland) and do part of the Wild Atlantic Way - there are no border checks. The coastline of Co Donegal is absolutely spectacular you could then come down towards Sligo and either stay in RoI and visit Conn (the Quiet Man was filmed there) or you could come back into NI and stay at Rushin House just on the border in Belco - Enniskillen is a short drive. Depending on how much time you have you could continue South along the West Coast of Ireland (RoI) to Kerry but it's a lot of driving... so you might have to come back another time. From Enniskillen you could drive East and stay in Annalong Caravan park at the foot of the Mountains of Mourne and then travel up towards Belfast and get the Liverpool ferry home. Anyway I've rambled a lot .. if you would like any other in please do give me a shout. Ireland North and South is stunning - the people are fantastic and have such a welcoming fun sense of humour you'd love it.

Hi Rob & Lynn on Tour in Market Drayton , that was an amazing vlog seeing all those beautiful tractors & on the time after the scattering my dad's ashes on the farm @ knitley Hall farm it seemed really fitting, & settled me down in knowing that my dad is back home where he loved so much on the farm & seeing the tractors 🚜 the same day nearly how spooky is that ! Plus after having a really bad knight up in pain in my right arm ,you to seem to just magically made me feel a little better, still not looking forwards to my OP though on Tuesday I got the willy's 😂 I think its the thought of the anarcetic I always fight it in case I don't wake up ,I know its silly but somehow it feels like going to the vets to be put down, so yeh a little bit worried now plus with the thoughts going round in my head will I be able to see you 2 beautiful love birds 🐦 🐦‍⬛ again afterwards 😊 , anway I will say see you hopefully before Tuesday on another vlog if not on the other side once I am well enough, you to look after each other & I will be thinking about you both during my recovery take care & god bless your Vivid fan & friend always Linda Dunn from Newport Shropshire xxx xxx xxx❤😊

We are in in Ireland at the minute, currently just outside Enniskillen in Northern Ireland , would recommend this site to you Rushin house caravan site but it closes from October, have driven from Galway a day early as we had 50 mile an hour winds, so my advise is definitely do it the scenery is breathtaking and the people are so friendly just concerned that the time of year you are planning to go may not be the best! We crossed from Cairnryan to Belfast and then travelled down to Dublin x

Even driving around the farm in a tractor at age 14, took and passed my tractor test aged 16! Taking into account where you live in West Midlands. I would say go Fishguard to Rosslare.
Main reason is its a quite port and easy access. The Dublin route drops you in the City which is very busy at times.
If you want scenery. Drive to Cork and do The Wild Atlantic way.
This will take you up the West Coast.
You should have a great time. Billy

Having lived in N Ireland all my live and we travel in our camper quite alot, my advice would be allow a week to travel around N coast of Northern Ireland (Vist County Fermanagh, alot to see) then through Donegal head south on the WAW and by the time to get to the bottom head back by Dublin. One way Cairnryan to Belfast, back Dublin Holyhead. You can thank me later 😂
