Saw your making of video and its a blast to see how passionate, professional and committed you are to bring the Nürbugring to iRacing. You do something that is far beyond the best online simulation of Nürburgring. Running laps with a professional race driver before to get a feeling to model the physics right. It seems to be you checked every square meter of the huge area to fetch as most details possible. I got my Christmas present for this year (thank you!) and if you guys and iRacing were not already there, you have to be invented. Looking forward for many more laps in cool cars and tracks, that you make real on a PC.

The fact that both games have laser scanned this track does not make them exact by any stretch. And for those of who who think iRacing FFB is flat you will certainly feel it on this track.
Models out of order gas station signs outside of the track because it's "important", still has 2007 mustang pace car and fake af ford gt/porsche gt3 cars. iRacings level of detail is so situationally used. Hopefully after this is done they'll use all that dev power to facelift old (but used in official) cars / tracks and update the art for the horrendus damage models and other common trackside objects.
+Burntrubber500 You can see the Gas Station in real while on the track. Most of the tourist drivers fill their cars up on this gas station. It is like a "iconic landmark" on the surrounding of the track. So if they model it anyway why not put on textures that are 100% the real deal? It doesn't cost any extra amount of time.

In fact, they even stated that at most we should see things sharper and the game should run a little better, but don't expect huge graphic improvements right away as they won't have any of that stuff completed. You could render Megaman with DX11 and it'll still look like the same game, for example.

At first it will, it will be new but 13-16 mile laps are going to take waaaaayyyyyy to long to run. Races at that his track are going to be boring and the track will quickly lose its appeal. In fact, I am pretty sure I will pass on buying it.
+RFDarter at certain angles these trees don't look so good because they are made with 2D models... With so many trees would be impossible to model all trees in 3D whilst maintaining acceptable FPS levels. Not iRacing's fault, they must cope with the current technology. When you see the modeled world with the driver's perspective, passing by the trees with some speed, the tree models will be good enough for the purpose of the simulation.
iagher They are not 2D and they could be made alot better with the current technologie. Also that we are only allowed to have 5 different car types on the track has nothing to do with techonligie not beeing ready

Well, if I'm going to pay for it I sure am glad the non functional gas pump is accurately modeled in the simulator!
