Mega shooting from! Well done. I have the new versions of each limb. The SX+ for 2 years now and the ns-g foam is on order. I am excited which one I prefer.

Ok guys, so here’s my take on the uukah vx+ limbs. As stated, really fast and a accurate and a joy to shoot. But.... jesus the noise! Shot them on my WW graphine riser , then tried them on my fivics riser. No joy, very rattly and noisy. Tried every trick in the book to no avail... then it occurred to me. Limb dovetail detents! Swapped them out for WW ones and eureka silence, quietest bow I’ve ever shot now. No limb savers or string silencers or heehaw ! What a bow!!

Thanks for the video. I've got a pair of Uukha VX+ limbs shipping to me now. I previously tried a friend's pair of these limbs and the feeling at full draw is what convinced me to get my own.
Hopefully I don't encounter much trouble stringing them, I use a Limbsaver stringer but have to be careful not to tweak my shoulder in the process.

Time ago I had opportunity to test Border HEX (either 5 or 6 I don't remember anymore) for two weeks. They are similar curve to VX+ and behave similarly. I have to admit I struggled way less during windy sessions due to that smoothness through clicker but always felt like I draw way heavier limbs compared to W&W Innos of same draw weight. It is maybe that I like to keep same (slower) pace through whole draw cycle. I stayed with Innos but I always wanted to try Uukhas. If only would they be a bit cheaper :)

    I had Uukha sx50's and win&win ns-g.
I ended up settling with ns-g, not due to any issue for or against equipment itself. Both are actually very quality.
It had everything to do with what feel I wanted with my shot and how I wanted to feel accumulate the loadup, and not "let off". I went with the Win&win.

I noticed you are stringwalking with your string crawl right below nock at 50lbs. What distance is your target? At 31,5 draw length I would overshoot anything below 40m. Or are your arrows that heavy? Just curious from a set-up point of view as a fellow barebow shooter. As someone who loves smooth draws all the way I'm closely eyeing the Uukhas for my next limbs. Great review, but: please never ever string lims that expensive without proper equipment! Seeing Uukhas like these twisted would break my heart Cheers from Austria

Sebbruck I shoot 3 fingers under hooking the string just under the lower nocking point. With the Uukha limbs and Vap arrows my point on is just under 50 yards. I'm really a gap shooter but the more I shoot the less i think of the gap. The distance I shoot in the video is around 30 yards and at that distance I just point and shoot.

Great vid 👍 I recently upgraded from the uukha ex1 to the vx+, really noticed as you get to the end of the draw cycle the weight drops off a little, guess this is the x curve kicking in! Only problem is my draw length has increased so much I need new arrows 😂

Hi Matt, glad you enjoyed the video. I have experienced the same with my draw length from when I first started shooting and the smooth draw of the VX+ certainly helps getting good expansion. What arrows are you shooting?

Allpass Archery shooting x10s , do have some uncut ones the next spine up so hope these tune ok when I finally get back to the range!

matt Smith I mainly shoot field and 3d. Have been using Victory Vaps for a while now and my bow at 50lb really likes the 400 spine at 30".
Have never shot the X10s but I'm sure they must be great. Hope you can get back to the range soon.

@@allpassarchery4505 X10's will only outshoot your VAP's in very windy conditions and at 50m+. For sure great arrows but overkill for all but 70m competition.

Mr Nice that's my feeling too. Have shot a lot of arrows, mostly less expensive than the vaps and in my experience the main thing is to get a good tune and to make sure the arrow leaves the bow cleanly. Have friends that shoot very cheap arrows and they will out shoot most other archers with very expensive arrows. In this sport there is not substitute for good form and a well tuned bow/arrow combination.

You can't compare the speed output of these limbs if you set them up with a difference of 4 turns of your limb bolts, even though you have them at the same draw weight at that set up. Furthermore, it is very likely that both limbs need to be shot at different brace heights to operate them at their optimal. Did you do that?
The Uukha VX+ will very likely be faster, nevertheless.

      Hi Mhenschi,
      Thanks for your comment.
I can most certainly compare the 2 limbs on the same riser set up with the same draw weight. Its a free country you know.
I'm showing how both limbs perform (for me) on the same riser at the same weight and brace height.
I never claimed this to be a scientific test.
It's pretty obvious that both limbs would perform differently on different risers, and changing the brace height will of cause also make a difference regarding speed and accuracy

I highly doubt flax core NS limbs have any stacking. I shoot NS foam core and I have 34" draw length. I've tested them using luggage weigh and up to 38" force increase was linear. Tested from 10" to 38" in half inch steps.

      Thanks for your input Robert.
I was describing the feel of both the Uukha and Win & Win limbs and the Uukha limbs feels like they gain less weight at the end of the draw cycle but in return they are harder to pull at the start of the draw. It would be interesting to see the actual draw force curve for both limbs.

@@allpassarchery4505 It is super easy to do. Take weighing scale, attach it to the string. Place bow on flat surface and hold it in place. Place an arrow or better draw length indicator arrow on the bow and start pulling. I've used broomstick and string attached to weighing scale and winded string to help me pull and stop each half an inch to take measurements. It is tricky to do on your own but easy with help of other person.
I'm thinking about making a rig with pulleys to do such measurements with ease and also measure how each limb flex in the process. I alrady have pulleys and bearings but need large sheet of plywood and some time to assemble it :D
