Moreover, there was a bill sponsored by a Oklahoma republican senator earlier this year that Trump told the party not to vote on (why would he do that?). Since that bill went nowhere, Biden instituted Trump's border policies (which will be deemed unconstitutional again) so immigration is currently way down. The point I tried to make is too many of us are not making intentional choices for bettering ourselves so are especially worried about competing with immigrant over low paying jobs. There is not a political solution for black on black murder as the #1 cause of death for young black men, 70% of black kids being raised by single mothers, Stores like Walmart and Target closing inner city stores due to theft, etc. Only personal responsibility and intentional choices will fix major issues in the black community! I used to live in Chicago, HUD housing. I am biracial from Asian, I had to learn English. It took me 7 years to obtain US citizenship. I get offended when a person says to me " Why do you not speak Spanish? It is good to be bilingual." My response to shut them up " English is my 3rd language and French is my 4th. I had to learn French in HS as my foreign languageeven though English is my foreign language. Suddenly they are speechless. I also say " When you speak as many languages as myself, I will consider learnign Spanish as my 5th language. Proud legal immigrant, love everything about USA. Let us keep this country American and English speaking as our founding fathers voted. Please Americans learn your history and fight for your country.

Truth.I am a American citizen my whole life. I had a heart attack only 30%of my heart works. I worked for 45yrs. Payed mh taxes. Now i get ssi 800.00 a month and 150,00 for food. I don't know how much long i can live on that.

I moved out of Chicago in 2021, I saw this coming and was hated for pointing it out.
I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.

I’m an American ……… been living in the UK for the last six years. I’ve been coming and going between the two my whole life. You must reach the non apathetic voters somehow. The UK is unrecognizable now. This country is and has been one of the most obliging and welcoming ( especially in Ireland) of migrants But the recent influx type… are not …and have no intention of integrating. We have pockets of that in the states but this is entire villages and towns here. And the government and large corporations are allowing it in order to have a pool of cheap labor. Imagine how much money is that cost. If it wasn't bad enough millions pour over the southern border . They also have been flying 30,000 migrants a month for years into the United States. I work at shop in Chicago's West Englewood Neighborhood there is apartment building across from the shop full of migrants. They would come telling boss he should hire them, because one way or another they going to get all the jobs anyway. Well they only been in that building since May and can already see the change they buy cars, put radios in them. They already taking advantage of everything the city is giving them. One my former co-workers was moved out off his apartment that for low income earners, so they could fix it up to move migrants in. It's crazy we taking away from people born here to help people from somewhere else.

She is definitely telling the truth I'm in the suburbs of Chicago(the joliet area) and came across several jobs applications that were in Spanish. I been looking for another job for 4 months now and nothing. Are they even hiring regular citizens now ?

I am black man and have lived in Chicago my entire life. I am a convicted felon and I have never had a problem with finding work. If you want to work these companies will hire you, if not directly then through Temp agencies. As blacks we should not be angry with the immigrants coming in, instead focus on living right and for God and cleaning up our own selves so no matter what the world does we will be okay because we put our trust in God.

It’s not just money. I see the migrants everywhere in Chicago. Almost all of them have brand new clothes and shoes donated by large corporations. I saw some of them with brand new Under Armour sneakers!! And the kids had North Face coats on, and brand new kids sneakers during the cold weather season, all donated by clothing Corporations. They all have kids and babies btw. Over the winter I noticed most of the women were pregnant . Now it’s summer and I see the women selling candy on trains BUT NOW they have a baby on their backs, with free donated diapers.
