What a brain they hve got ,amazing we throw coconut shell in dust bin , bt look ,😱 they make amazing musical instruments out of tis ,, surely guys wht a God truly blessed gifted n brain they hve,👼👌
Such a fine musical instrument being made!! So great work!!! The concerned Government must help them additionally so that such musical instruments be played all over the world!! Jai Bharat!!
In the era of automated manufacturing, such artists are rarely seen now. I like such people a lot. Once I met an old lady from Ladakh who was weaving thread out of wool using a small piece of wood, to manually make small cloth.
I love this, in the Mission District of San Francisco back in the 1970's, David Simmons and others were making their own instruments for one of their series of rhythmic ensembles called the Future Primitives. With all of the homemade instruments that they made, using anything from carpet tubes, old pipes, pieces of wood and what ever else they could get a sound out of, they made some string violins out of coconuts with skin stretched over the opening and a scallop shell was the bridge. It was a fantastic instrument but this man takes it to the next level.
This is a primitive traditional instrument called 'Ektara', literally meaning 'One String' musical instrument. It has been and still used by mostly travelling Hindu ascetics who travel around singing prayers and devotional songs. They prefer it to other instruments because of its simplicity of use, very light weight, small size and low cost of repair.
This is a sensibility I've always enjoyed discovering within myself even if I'm a westerner with access to machine tools. My early days were almost exactly like this where the backsteps were my workbench and even now I really tend to prefer working in a crouch on the ground as opposed to standing up. It'd definitely be some past life eastern craftsman stuff slowly coming through and I love these kinds of discoveries of how deep we all are.
Music instrument making very skilled art. Wounderful .to see with in few hours.its very difficalt work with somany things for making. Congratulations to him.
I am not sure, how this great artisan makes his livelihood. How many pieces will be sold in a month, to meet his expenses, it is difficult to understand. Kudos to him, for continuing this great art of making such a simple instrument.
I like this instrument very much. From my childhood days I use to buy this in temple function but now it is not available in city side. Thanks for making and make it available to all
One viewer claims this man experiences poverty. Not so! He's demonstrating his bountiful universe creating prosperity for himself and those viewers who are prepared to learn some new techniques. His whole body is engaged in the creative craft of manipulating a coconut into a drink, some snacks, and a traditional musical instrument. Many coconuts are made into traditional musical instruments in South East Asia too 🤩
I have a few big cocos outside and now I want a drink. Just seeing the juice got my craving going. I took 15 cocos from the beach planted them on the mountain and waited 12 years for them to fruit. I thought the never would. Now the cocos grow better and fruit better than they do on the beach. Now I have small pipas that fruit in four years. I sure like watching other people work.
It’s always hilarious when westerners use the word ‘primitive’ in these situations. That means that you are measuring it against your standard…which is actually an inherently racist point of view. The tools are simple and are examples of appropriate technology. This is what works in his situation without the need for the added expense and support infrastructure associated with modern tools.
@@akashramdial2240 Yes I agree it does sound racist but I am far from that I think the man has an amazing talent using what tools are available to him. Even with all my tools I could not put out the products that he is. My talent lies not in manufacturing stay safe and God bless. 🇨🇦
