The recording of the concert from 8th December 1952 is of exceptionally high quality - like the performance itself. This is my second attempt to tranfer the outstanding sound to UA-cam. I consider this upload as the best sounding of all my Furtwängler videos, up to now.
Fantastic work. Just wondering why UA-cam? UA-cam reduces the sound quality of all uploads to 128 kbps, even if your video is HD or not. Vimeo for example has standard 320 kbps audio quality (and has a free basic plan where you can upload and share all your videos, but does not have a community option).
Totally beyond our imagination and expression, Music itself. I have never been deeply moved by even real concert these days. Furtwangler coducted only music, eliminate any others such as fame & reputation. Thanks to Mr.LP for inviting me to this concert, in which I met in my mind Furtwangler in his closing years. JWK
¡Qué maravilla de obertura! Una interpretación de las grandes. Como la grandiosa de la "Eroica" que dirigiría Furtwangler en ese mismo concierto.

A million thanks for your kind service to mankind, to both of you...
Amazing work. This is the best-sounding Furtwangler recording I have heard.
The best!
Muchas gracias por compartir.
Thank you very much !
wow, exceptional catch of the bass at 2:32 to 2:54
Nice job but I prefer the 1943 version in Berlin, which is understandable given the circumstances.
Have you got the recording from the previous day?
No, I don´t have.
