Shawn, you have the best cinematography of any 4wd channel. Those aerial shots with the snow dusted trees as you approach the lake are amazing. Keep it up, you are setting the standard.
17:10 Teddy was crazy enough to follow you on the Alexander Trail, He's crazy enough to follow you into a snow storm.. Have you ever considered, he's crazier than me. 19:54 So.. you're saying my Stock Subaru Impreza can do the Whipsaw (haha) Another excellent Adventure. Too bad about the truck blocking the path..
I have never seen so many terminated trips than I have this year. Snow this late is crazy even in Canada it is pushing records. Safety first, you do what the gut tells you and go find fun somewhere else. Great video as usual. Peace!
The footage is amazing, the vehicles are supreme, the time and effort taken to make such an epic video truly is incredible. as a regular viewer with a 9-5 job , seeing such lavish adventures with cars that are worth a small flat each and camera equipment that it worth half a flat more makes me feel like this isn't for everyone. but cannot stress enough how great of a video this is, well done!
SOOOOO happy that you showed your trail. Living in flat plains, being able to see and track your journeys on google maps or whatever really helps to make me get some feel for where you went and what the journey was like from a more expansive perspective than just through windows and drones (which I also love). It helps to add to the experience for those that won't get them first hand.
All the way from cape town south Africa as I'm watching this it's storming outside...I love watching your snow episodes as we very seldomly get snow..and we do it's high up on our mountains..
What a great show. I am always amazed at your drone flying skills. As soon as I can no longer hear the drone or see it, even with the screen telling me where the drone is, I panic and push the return to home button. You can't do that as you are on the move the entire time.
Every time we watch your videos it just makes us want to get up there to enjoy some of what Canada has to offer even more. Unfortunately it’s a 13hr drive from middle Tennessee through Michigan to Ontario, we would need a couple weeks off from work to make sure we could enjoy the whole trip.
I saw a lot of your adventure. And I realized, you don't use branch wires. Here in Europe we use steel wire on both side of the trucks. These wires are running from the front end of the hood (starts in the gap of the hood and the fenders) to the top of the A pillar. With this modification we don't have to afraid that a branch will hit the windshield. The wire guides the branches to the roof. Just a quick tip if you like that idea. Regards Balazs
I miss BC and can't wait to be back! But for now, i'm recently living my new life in Utah USA for the next 2 to 4 years. Maybe longer, if I end up liking it! I love watching your videos when I'm home sick! Awesome video! I have explored Whipsaw a few times and always love going back ☺️
Dude my favorite thing to do is smoke one and watch your videos, you’ve got some of the best content out with over-landing. I recently purchased a 08 expedition that I’m building and can’t wait to hit some trails soon.
incroyable mais vrai ! une tempête de neige en juin ! pas facile dans ces conditions de filmer, bravo pour cette vidéo👍 , on espère revoir le gladiator au plus vite sur les chemins !
As always, an unparalleled production! Based on my driving experiences, have you guys ever been in the middle of nowhere and had a vehicle go down for something you weren't prepared for? I still run old school jeeps (1977 and 1997) and have been stupid lucky with virtually no breakdowns but I always wonder about the new vehicles glitching and becoming stranded. That might be a video compilation idea! Outstanding work!!!! Keep it up!!
Another great journey, Shaun! Sucks about the turn around, but it happens. Looks like you guys made the best of it, though, and that's what it's about. Cheers!
Dude! Seriously... Your story telling and filming skills are insane! If I had only half your brain, life would be awesome. Thanks for all your hard work, and sick asf adventure sharing. Freaking amazing!
Am I the only one curious about the drink recipe that he made for you guys? The response from all involved makes me want to try making it one day for my peeps. WHAT WAS IN IT?🤷🏻♂ Great content Shaun!
I have a great respect and admiration for you. I could not do the things that you do. Those roads were not made for walking much less driving. I could not drive on those mountains in those weather. I can't imagine what you must go through when you are driving on those roads. To be honest we really, really enjoy watching your channel. So until the next one take care of yourself.
Amazing Fantastic Mind-blowing Experience ❤❤❤ no words actually that appreciates your adventure. And Drone coverage is one of the best thing. Be careful Be Safe keep thrilling us with like these extra ordinary Stories 🎉❤❤❤❤
Really enjoyed this one, actually watched it twice. Great to see @offthegrind David out with you gents. Thanks for the great content. Ps, that Chevy looked huge, we don’t get trucks anywhere near that big in the UK.
Hopefully you guys get to run the bronco through whipsaw again some time. im thinking about geting one in the next couple years and want to see how it handles it. my current rig probs would not make it hahaha
Shaun and Team, you must come visit me in South Africa so I can take you on a tour through the mountain kingdom - Lesotho 🇱🇸. Something totally different, your production perfection would be brilliant to be experienced this side. Carl van Rooyen
Some times your gut instincts are the best , that truck was your sign to turn back . It may not be the most exciting choice, but the smarter & safer choice. Got snow !
It's 95 degrees here and humid I'm working in my garage oh, and I'm sweating all the way to my knees. Decided I'd go sit down and relax a little bit and watch your video before I passed out. Now I'm freezing to death and shivering, oh maybe it's because I got the fan on high and the air conditioner turn down low. Really enjoyed the video and yes I'm subscribed
Sign up for OnX Off-Road with my link and save 20%: bit.ly/OnXTSTN
Would be nice if OnX were available to Canadians. Only let's you sign up if you have an American address.
Is there any way we can follow you on onX?
I tried to sign up and does not have a Canada option or a B.C option. Do you have any advice on how to
I talked to onX about it & onX Hunt is the only one that is available in Canada.
@rwadams4055 I got the same when I talked to them. Not the same thing.
Shawn, you have the best cinematography of any 4wd channel. Those aerial shots with the snow dusted trees as you approach the lake are amazing. Keep it up, you are setting the standard.
I completely agree with this statement. Every video the cinematography is epic.👌
I seen that pork shoulder fall right before it actually happened.
It happened in slow motion
A sane person knew it was going to happen before it did. And we would have avoided it at all costs. Not him. Just straight to dirt. Protein!
@@TheStoryTillNow Camp dirt is just a little extra seasoning!
I once dropped mash potatoes in pine straw but they still got ate lol.
It had to happen, right
There's something supremely ironic about watching a winter snow storm when you're presently sweating your butt off in the middle of actual summer!
You think it ironic , I call it Britain or home😊
Agreed. Currently 94 degrees F in Portland,OR. So soothing to watch the snow falling.
@@michaelhoskins832’m in Yakima WA right now at the moment.. I feel ya in this dry ass desert lol
Matt off road recovery background music 👌
Those broncos look so sweet with the snow. 💪
5:40 had to Shazam that. Nice track. Sero - The Way You Want
Watching him unroll the pork I was like, what is he doing? He’s gonna drop it and then bam! What do you know. He drops it. 🤦🏽♂️

18:10 from the starting and the warm music on the background make me chills❤
My fawrt towards WOW 👍👍👍

It is Midnight 30 here in South Mississippi and it is STILL 81degress F😁 .. Thanks For The Ride ! 👍❤
Love the production quality, as always Shaun. I'll wait 2 weeks every time for this kind of content! Hope you're enjoying a bit of sanity.
Such a good trip man and brilliant edit as always! Thanks again so much for having me up. Let’s do it again soon

Thanks! You don’t need all that to go out and do this though.
Man I love seeing some of my favorite UA-cam stars doing videos together
We had to drive around the Yukon the day before. It was a little slick but we did it
Shaun, once again you amaze your subscribers. The scenery and friendship you have with everyone you wheel with is amazing.

Great video. I’ve had my Bronco WildTrak for 3 months now and I’m looking forward to a chance like this.
Tell us about the Maple syrup and ice cube cocktail! 'Loved the video; we live in snow country, too. You guys made the right decision to leave.
Maple syrup infused Old Fashioned perhaps.
All the way from cape town south Africa as I'm watching this it's storming outside...I love watching your snow episodes as we very seldomly get snow..and we do it's high up on our mountains..
That’s so beautiful! I would love to take my Jeep there for a few weeks. All of your videos make BC look incredible!
This is so refreshing to watch. It's sunny and 31°C here in Labrador right now, and this video paired with an iced capp is just what I needed lol
What a great show. I am always amazed at your drone flying skills. As soon as I can no longer hear the drone or see it, even with the screen telling me where the drone is, I panic and push the return to home button. You can't do that as you are on the move the entire time.

Dudes, always expect the unexpected! Always. I've experienced snow in mid to late July. It's all good. As they say, live another day. 👌👌👏👏👍👍

If there is an award for camera work, I truly hope this video wins. AMAZING work!!!
Wow, thank you!
Honestly the level of flow and quality to these videos is just outstanding. Long time fan, Awesome job man.
Love the production quality, as always Shaun.

Lots of people in Canada & the USA use them too, usually referred to as limb risers around here.
I'm your subscriber and a fan from Northeast India ,Mizoram Aizawl
Great video. Good call on turning around. As in life, it's the adventure that is important and not the destination.
I miss BC and can't wait to be back! But for now, i'm recently living my new life in Utah USA for the next 2 to 4 years. Maybe longer, if I end up liking it! I love watching your videos when I'm home sick!
Awesome video! I have explored Whipsaw a few times and always love going back ☺️
Man I love all the beautiful shots you take
Drone handled so well in those high winds. 🙌
It's awesome to see diff perspectives of the same trip from multiple UA-cam videos...great video!
Another fantastically shot video of the adventure with Shawn! Great video, thanks for sharing!
Wow, this is completely crazy and I’ll candidate has up-and-down storms even in June but wow keep this up. I love this absolutely beautiful.

Just...woow !!
Incredible filmography, absolutely by far the best overland channel on UA-cam 🫡💯🤘
You guys were in my back yard with this one!!

My God, thats a beautiful video. You have awaken my adventurous spirit.
Great trip. I wish we had similar trails here in Europe, especially for my Iveco Daily 4x4 5.5 tons truck
Another great journey, Shaun! Sucks about the turn around, but it happens. Looks like you guys made the best of it, though, and that's what it's about. Cheers!

Thanks for all your hard work, and sick asf adventure sharing. Freaking amazing!
Wow, thanks!
All I could think of during that first minute or so intro music, was Matt’s Off-road Recovery haha
Drone view of the lake is stunning (13 minutes in)
Driving a tractor trailer on ice is extremely challenging and dangerous!
Let's go! Another drop! Super excited to watch this!
Glad you are back
Another great adventure and video. Really enjoying your trips. Great content. Cheers from Quesnel BC 🤘🇨🇦🍻
Thanks 👍
Some nice underlanding!
Awesome! I really like your music selection, always spot on. thanks for such amazing adventure.
Another great video. Loved the rewind and the rap at the end. Lol

Love those Bronco’s
That cold weather is looking really good ! It's 100 effen degrees F here in NW New Mexico.

Ur vedio quality is too good.
And the way u present vedio is awesome 👌 😮
Finally catch it live
Great idea and planning to have more than one vehicle ( in case of breakdown)
Is that a troll in the background at 3:56? Sweet ride man. Keep up the content.
