Thanks this was helpful. I have never tried any of the Glenmorangie lineup. I almost bought a bottle of the 14 yesterday. I think I will pick up a bottle soon.
@joecassatta3151 you will bot be disappointed. The bottle is a treat! Is there anything else you are interested in? I'm always doing reviews and on the hunt. I also have a comparison video of The Dalmore and Barrowman's. The 25 year Grand Cru from Barrowman's is amazing and worthy of most any collection!
Great video, very insightful! thanks for doing the work. Glenmorangie is my wife favorite distillery, I love it too, I'd say I am an Ardbeg guy, so between the both of us LVMH got us hehe, slàinte!
Thank you for the comment! The video will really give some insight into the differences and what I ended up really loving from this core selection. I love me some peat and smoke as well! I will be reviewing quite a few in the upcoming videos. I also plan on doing some comparisons as well. Stay tuned, please share the channel with other whiskey fans - like, subscribe and share.... that's how we grow!
You know what - I had the 18 year and I have to agree, very good. I will be sure to get the review up on the channel soon. Is there anything else form Glenrmorangie that you like?
@ The signet which you covered off, for an alternative 18 year to try try The Glenlivet 18 another great drip. Anyway enjoyed the video hope to see more.
Thank you for the comments! I have more on their way! I cover a bit of everything, including some brands that aren't that well known - just to be sure we always have something new to learn about/try. Glad you enjoyed the video, take care!
It is very hard to say - caramel coloring is usually added in a minute amount to keep the color standardized across quite a few distilleries. Let's hope at least the Signet has no coloring added. I will certainly get details on an upcoming trip to a few distilleries. Thanks for the question!
Thank you for the question! I am a huge fan of the King Alexander III - but the Glenmorangie Signet has a special quality to it that makes it hard for me to overlook (tiramisu). If price is one of the factors.... then I have seen the bottles for similar prices, I believe the Signet was about $60 cheaper - and for me it would be an easy choice if I factor in price. The presentation of the Signet bottle is also extremely attractive. If you need any more advice - let me know and I will be more than happy to help you out! How do you like the videos I have posted? Luckily I happen to have videos reviewing exactly what you are considering.
This video would’ve been 10x better if you actually tasted the whisky and gave a review of the palate. If you already have a fan base that’s okay with these one word descriptors, good for you. But this makes me worry that your watch reviews are like *puts on Rolex* “Heavy” *moves on with no context*
Yeah - I am pretty new to this. I'm sure I will get better with time. Thanks for the comment. I will take your advice and do my best to put it into action! Also when you visit the channel you can see the individual reviews of each whiskey. Hoping to make this a little more clear as we produce more videos.

Cool video! Wouldnt expect the 12 tasting like a bourbon, ima skip this one hahaah
@@renatomelo2249 it is worth a comparison to the others if you get your hands on a bottle.
It really doesn't taste like bourbon, he's talking cap
Yeah - was from my perspective. But I am always open to going for a second tasting and seeing what I think.
Man Try the 18 year old, my favourite whisky. It’s the beginning of their premium level whisky and it never disappoints.

Do any one of them not have added colors?
