He also only used his ping twice, and he used it just to ping face. Also he used Luna as a 6 Mana draw 1 card. He was just playing big spell mage shell for that game.
It kinda works in my "discover/random" mage in wild ... if i survive ... its no way competetive but fun to play and it sometimes realy help me catch tempo (but i kinda need some draw engine there i suppose ... have to tweak it a lil more) in late game :) ... and because lot of card generating minions there is always something i can hit with it. ... But not everybody is appretiating random/chaos decks :) Anyway im sure im sadly relatively closest to make it work as i can be ... too bad, its nice card and looks great in golden :)

So Malygos is in the deck to supposedly be used with Antonidas' fireballs? I think a regular Alanna would be better (the deck runs 5 big spells with pocket galaxy)
Hey an Odd Mage deck that's awesome. I'm playing an odd mage elemental deck at the moment that's pretty fun. That's two damage fireball is surprisingly useful. Sucks against face hunter though.

But since the minions are frozen, your lel giggle only protects you against Druid Deathknight hero power. Wouldn't it be better to fish for Artificer with Arcane Intellect (2/12 chance)? That way the Frost Nova 'd give you 3 more armor.
Hmmm... not convinced =/ Didn't play the Pocket Galaxy, had a huge amount of trouble, mostly dead hand and ultimately saved by the Baron Lifesteal, which is already in regular control mage... which can run useful even cards like Polymorph, Blizzard, Meteor...
@@Sunthaz yeah but that's not really a consideration. You run Baku so you can have the upgraded hero power in the early game, not the late game. By turn 9, you've gotten basically all the meaningful value you're going to get out of it.

I play odd mage in low ranks and every opponent checks my hero power :) My mage is cheaper though. It is more tempo/burn with lots of draw (cats, coldwraiths, bonfires) and Jaina as plan B.

Huge amount of expensive and legendary cards and even though pocket galaxy has been drawn, it could not been played to discount these cards. Strictly reserved to entertainment and pro players, do not try this at home!

Also, the Baku upgrade becomes obsolete after death knight is in play.

Tbh Baku Mage works better as a Tempo or Value playstyle with Elemental synergy or lower curve
