I regret stating that Elon Musk is not a rocket scientist! He certainly is, and in fact he is the lead engineer at SpaceX. He is also a business “magNET” ;) A couple more corrections to this video: The museum that Elon Musk donated to is in New York, not Belgrade. Also, the electric chair actually utilizes A/C, not D/C! Thanks again for watching
Bright Insight Nikola Tesla Actually Gave Us A Lot More Than People Here Realize. He Gave Us A Way Of Thinking That Leads To Higher Levels Of Consciousness. I Know He Helped Me Do This By Thinking In Terms Of Energy, Frequency, & Vibration. There's So Much More I'd Like To Say But It Taps Into All Of Existence & Answers To Questions That Can Only Be Understood Best At Higher Levels Of Consciousness. I'm Going To Teach People How They To Can Evolve Their Consciousness So That They May Remember Who & What They Truly Are.
Bright Insight I know you err on the side of caution, but Rockefeller and Morgan have a dark place in this story. AC and DC both have the same losses in transmission, you can't step up voltage with transformers with DC...but what you said is true, nonetheless. Bright Insight Pirate Video
Both were great scientists. Tesla was a just a better one because he was innovative and forward thinking. If you think about it Edison built the blueprint for what Musk is doing right now.
So basically the source of ideas is from Tesla but we should value Edison more for bringing the tech to the market, thats seems pretty backwards , no wonder Tesla worked alone, MY GUESS IS ELON IS TRYING TO SAVE FACE, because he probably didn't do much of the applied science and needs to keep his Company aligned the way he wants, lol
Just like like Steve Jobs, who didn't engineer the circuitry, but was a visionary and marketing genius that could also sell it to us. In the real world, it usually takes product managers and marketing visionaries to direct the engineers down in the trenches.
The real world is everybody selling bullshit projected ideas based on insecurities. Everybody is the hero of their own story. In all actuality for us to even coexist as a species sucessfully you woud need a lot of plutonium.
In his last letter,Tesla wrote to his mother: "I wish i was with you mother, to bring you glass of water. All these years i spent serving mankind, did not bring me nothing more than insults and humiliation."
The world would be such a wonderful place now if we had encouraged him with his inventions. Free energy for all. It's still possible but we are being lied to.
haha true, history is to learn you want they want you to think what happend... and forget about what they dont want you to know. also funny to mention is the biggest part of all the company owners today are drop outs. schools teach you to work in the system as a employee. not to train your talents and explore your creativity
@@Primat2207 Newton was brilliant to be sure, but I think Tesla was on a different plane from anybody else. He understood the power of the earth's atmosphere, and how to harness it. Nobody else came close.
Da Vinci, Newton, Copernicus, Galileo, Archimedes, Volta. To say it's not close is a bit silly. Tesla was a great man but the world wouldn't have been blessed with him if it wasn't for all the genius that came before. We all stand upon the shoulders of giants.
My great grandfather worked in Edison lab, directly for him. Edison worked him to death and then refused to pay out his earnings to surviving wife, as women had little legal rights then, leaving her destitute with children. Firstly - note that many engineers worked and created for Edison while he took the credit. Second, this confirms Edison's lack of character or care for humanity.
Edison made a 50k bet with Tesla if he could design a more efficient motor or generator. Tesla delivered and asked for his reward. Edison replied you don't understand American humor. He kept his designs though. 50k would of worth over a million bucks compared to today. Edison is a disgusting pig.
My father was a electrical engineer,,,he was so gifted i first learned from him about Tesla!!!you need to know much about Tesla's parents!!!Tesla was a great gift from God to humanity period!
Morg Rich the man actually wanted the entire world to prosper and not just America. Dude wasn't selfish and fully consumed by the sins of greed, lust, and wrath against other humans... He could've made the world a better place for everyone. But why would the rich want everyone to be on equal grounds with them ?
I love Tesla, and I respect him. However, I admit that he was very untalented in an easy field and did not do any efforts to understand one thing: If you love people and you want to do more for them, charge them.
I respect Tesla so much. All of his creation are unbelievable amazing. if this man was not exist ,the world today will be very difficult.Because he created AC electricity we call the world today , modern world. Thanks grandpa Nico Tesla so much.
Was tesla good though? He kept on claiming that the Physics that was being developed by people like Einstein and Bohr were nonsense. Also he falsely claimed that he found a particle that can travel a thousand times faster than a photon of light and it comes from the Sun. And obviously he knew that was bullshit.
@BubonicTonic what such people spew is supposed to be Absolute Truth. They will never care to give any proof. You are lesser soul for asking proof. Such a profane u are, asking HIM proof?
This is why Edison is in Hell with a + & - terminal clamped to each testicle, while the devil shocks him with 124875V, 9A of Alternating Current, 6×/day 3 hours/session. Elon Musk is a lying douchebag, as well, but probably not anywhere as evil as Edison.
@THATS NOT MAYO,IM 1000 PERCENT WITH YOU.Tesla was the people's champ, but what messed him up was that J.P. Morgan stop funding him for his Lab because the Government knew Tesla was way ahead of his time. So,they had to oppress him in some way.Thats why Thomas Edison became in power because he really wanted to make a profit out of his ideas. On the other hand,Tesla didn't want to make profit out of his ideas, you dig?!That was really the key ingredients of having the whole system shook ...

this is how I imagine Edison's reply for that quote Edison : "tough I took people ideas, the idea is never removed from their brain, and yet they still can't earn their own money and compete with me"
Do you realize what he meant when he said that it was talking about eternity his soul he no worldly things of this world and the Flash have nothing to do with the big picture he understood that

Musk is alike to both of them, he is a salesman that takes credit that is not his. But he also has his contributions to space travel that should never be overlooked. It's one thing to invent, it is another to make your products available to the lay person, "accessible to the world". He has done a fair share of playing the parts of both of them

@@Zetverse I agree but its important to remember that what he is doing is all just a bunch of ego crap and that is all very predictable and prone to catastrophic failure if some kind.

Tesla and Edison shouldn't be even used in the same sentence. Edison was a businessman, Tesla was a genius. Think about your wifi. Yes Tesla came up with that idea many, many years ago. Tesla was NOT focused on money. He had to work to give us what we do have today. Every time when you turn on your lights think about Tesla. God bless his soul.
Michael Faraday discovered electromagnetic induction using coils in the 1830's. James Maxwell predicted electromagnetic waves in the 1870's. Heinrich Hertz "discovered" it in the 1880's (this is why we measure frequency in kilohertz and megahertz). Alexander Bell discussed wireless telephony at about the same time. Marconi developed long-range wireless communication in the 1890's (for a long time the devices were called "Marconis"). Tesla is a minor player by comparison in this particular chain that leads to WiFi, entering rather late in the development of high-frequency radio communication. Tesla's main contribution to history is the promotion of AC and AC induction motors. As a pure scientist he is "almost" great, but he was never really really first in any of his discoveries (X-rays were discovered by Roentgen). There is no "Tesla's Law" or "Tesla's equation" or "Tesla's theorem". He essentially used the discoveries of others to invent useful devices, like Edison did.
There's an incorrect message about Tesla and his marketing attitudes. Tesla was not incapable of selling his stuff, he just wanted to share his technology with the world at no cost. That's the point where Edison and Tesla couldn't agree at all.
It seems to me that Elon Musk may have the same human empathic attitude as Tesla. As he said once "You wouldn't like to be me". I just hope that enough rich entrepreneurs jump forward and spend their money developing competition for Elon's unwanted empire or just wish to be a subsidiary. I had 4 kids, I can imagine if I had 6 as he as. But imagine the logistics with his dream career.
Tesla was like Richard Stallman with old world manners, fashion sense and good hygiene. David Bowie played Tesla once.. Who could play Stallman? Jerry Garcia's corpse, maybe.
Nikola Tesla had a gift. He grew up in the area of my country where there was no technology or anything, but he got education and all the futuristic inventions that made him look crazy at the time. If he stayed in Croatia, he would be pronounced crazy for his ideas only. Having no sources to develop them. At least he came to the USA, to make his work possible, and was not credited for sure while he was still alive. But in all the dimensions of thinking. I have no clue how to describe Tesla but a genius with no explanation how. I hope with the time he gets the credits and respect he deserves for his work and vision.
Not only that, if he stayed in his village in Croatia he would probably be killed by ultra-nacionalist idiots who actually had wiped out that village in the war.
The only reason Tesla was able to keep working on A/C after leaving General Electric was because of Westinghouse. Westinghouse did nothing but help Tesla, and it was not Westinghouse's idea for Tesla to tear the contract up. Tesla did that of his own free will, just like Tesla died poor due to his own poor financial decisions, not due to anyone else's actions. Tesla would have been nothing without Edison getting him US citizenship and Westinghouse's support throughout his life. Great genius but completely out of his mind, without those two he would have accomplished nothing.
Thank you Jimmy for this great video. I did a lot of research into Nikola Tesla years ago and was so impressed by him and his genius. He was amazing! The people who took advantage of him did the world a great injustice. I was sickened by what Edison and others did to Tesla!
And that's just the tip of the ice berg, are you an America? if so what is the 2nd amendment on the bill of rights say? If you are under the age of 40 I'm going to guess they told you that it says you have the right to bare arms? What it actually says is, "You have the right to bare arms equal to the militia so that the popular opinion of the American people shall never be suppressed by a tyrannical government. But the way things are these days I guess they really don't want you to know that. Or that in the 1960's during the Cuban missile crisis, people in Florida (where I'm from) were buying 50 caliber machine guns, tanks, rocket launchers, etc. The supreme court said anything held in the national guard armory was legal to own for home protection.

Kirby had him beat. Master inventor and business man. Tesla was dumb for not realizing the importance of his inventions on capitalism, and stupid is as stupid does. Even Howard Johnson was wiser in this way and another brilliant inventor. But people are Gaga for Tesla.
We learned all about the god like Inventor named "Edison", but nothing from Tesla -.- But is a long time ago, born 1966 ^^ And they told us *you* (we pupils) killed Jews in the Gaschamber ... of course ...
And then we wonder why the 3rd reich was so far ahead of America in rocket science, in ww ll. They didn't waste time teaching nonsense (if that really is the case. I'm basing this opinion off of a UA-cam comment about what they teach in Germany) 😆
Never learned that stuff in a german school. But learned it watching TV like ntv(though it's a shitty channel) and any other channel who broadcasts documentaries on him.
Edison made Tesla do all the work. Edison promised Tesla 50k and gave him a deadline + an impossible task. tesla did it and claimed his money. edison said, "don't you know the American humor. It was a joke". people will take advantage of you and make you do the dirty work for them if you're not careful. don't let them or at least make sure to get credit
Mary Contrary there’s no question that a business has hundreds of people doing the work, but they wouldn’t have any single idea what to do if he and his team didn’t come up with the revolutionary ideas. He comes up with the extremely innovative ideas with some idea as to how to do them, and then the workers make it a reality and optimise it
Mary Contrary alright not going to argue with your bullshit conspiracy logic of all this. Just appreciate people for what they’re doing, stop trying to find infinite ulterior motives and hidden conspiracies in every single thing.

This is sad and disturbing.
Tesla was a genius, one of the most brilliant minds in the world ever. He could watch an engine moving parts just in his mind. The world owns so much to Tesla (not just only 1M). To me it is an offence that the same capital funding that throw him out is using his name as a comercial brand. He died ruined and alone in a hotel room.
Tesla's discoveries, in particular his discoveries revolving around wireless transfer of energy, including his discovery of UNLIMITED energy, were major THREATS to oil and power companies, among other industries. Thus, it would not have mattered how good a salesman Tesla was. Not impressed with what Musk said about Tesla.
I should also state that intuition ("instinct" in Tesla's quote) is not an emotional thing, but it is the ability to do pattern recognition, and ultimately know what the right questions to ask. Learning to ask questions is done through the Socratic Method, something NOT taught in school. Those who ask the best questions, get the best answers.

Musk didn’t name the car company Tesla. Like Edison, he purchased someone else’s ideas and the company at its beginnings and brought the initial concept to the world. So in that way, he’s actually more like Edison. He made his initial money off PayPal and invested wisely in ideas as well as taking chances with new ideas. He’s a pioneer in our time but don’t be mistaken by thinking he’s the next Tesla. He’s really a modern day Edison.
C. Michael Martell Elon has said that he is a bigger fan of Edison than he is of Tesla, because of Edison’s ability to bring his inventions to market. Therefor, making his inventions more useful to the masses. Call it capitalism or adoption, I think they go hand in hand.

thats exactly how i see it. it's an argument that it's not enough to see his opinion about tesla or edison. but in the main way he gives credit to edison, why? well, you wrote the answer. he even said it: "he brought it to the market, tesla didn't". it's about money and everything else again, but not about beeing the next tesla. otherwise he would have been discredited already with elephants on space x rockets, yeah bit funny dough, but they would get him away form the daylight this fast, you wouldn't even recognize, if he wouldn't follow the money and the industry.

That's a lie. I am from Serbia, I live and was born in Belgrade. Elon Musk has never donated money to the Nikola Tesla Museum in Belgrade, nor, as far as I know, to any school or institution bearing his name here in Serbia. He donated to a museum in New York, but the original museum where his personal belongings and some inventions are, here in Belgrade, is nothing. In addition, the museum is in a difficult financial situation, since the state generally invests little or not at all in such objects. Partly because we are poor, partly because of corruption.
@@clivebaxter6354 The real difference is that Tesla proved how certain things could be done successfully. Einstein only created theories about how things could never work (FTL drives for example). Also, while Tesla's inventions are increasingly being proved to be plausible, Einstein's theories remain theories since they have yet to be proved without a doubt, (yes there is supporting evidence, but not actual proof).
I am electrical engineer and believe that there is no other inventor in this world better than Nikola Tesla. Yet he was never discussed or taught in details in the school text books. When i went to university to study electrical engineering and when i studied electrical machines, i came to know that all of the modern day power systems are based on tesla's work. Even wireless communications like radio, cell phone networks, Wifi are all directly related to tesla's work. Ellon 's EVs use induction motors. I dont understand why we are taught about edison as inventor of electric bulb and can ignore tesla in our school text books and history. May be because he was an immigrant and not American?
None of the above,AC current is too complicated to be taught in high schools,it should only be taught to people who genuinely want to become electrical engineers or technicians,to be honest even in electronics we don't deal with AC signals much and you can find many embedded systems engineers and even hardware designers who don't know much about how AC signals behave and because the AC current is not taught in high schools,Tesla is also not taught in high schools.
Look up the likes of Philo T Farnsworth, and Ernst Alexanderson. True innovators squashed and made irrelevant by big name businessmen high off their power and status
@Amandeep. I share you’re belief about Tesla. Quick anecdote. I was a PM for a large electrical contractor. My GF, with 30 years in the IBEW, had no idea the gravity of AC transmission efficiency over DC. 30 years in the trade and he never researched it or was taught. I say this because sadly we are a lazy society focused on very unimportant distractions. If there is one person I would have liked to have shadowed for one day, it’s Tesla!

Heather Morehouse He is a big name in rest of the world, considered a genius. It’s just US that promotes Edison. Also he invented too much and taught too much and it’s not in the interest of elite to educate humanity so they don’t mention him.
No George wastinghouse. Tesla never had beef with Edison, it was George Westinghouse he had beef with and it's just this author made a biography of tesla and gave quite a lot of bullshit information in that biography. Like Tesla didn't invent AC, it was some other guy but tesla and Westinghouse greatly improved AC current
Tesla didn’t invent Alternating Current while working for Edison. He invented it while still in his home European country from a vision he had, then immediately scratching the design in the dirt…
@V. V wow, I did know that the FBI searched his room and took his papers but I didn't know about "Dr. John Trump" . That is a very weird coincidence lol.
Musk is wrong. Tesla’s lack of monetary success was largely because of people like Edison taking advantage of him, or blatantly aiming to harm him. Tesla proposed multiple technologies to the government, which Edison convinced the military was useless in combat. This includes forms of radar, which is widely used by militaries. Tesla kindly pushed aside a contract he had with a business owner who was using one of his inventions for his product. This was because the guy was going to go bankrupt and he couldn’t afford to pay Tesla for use of the patent. This guy went on to make multiple of millions and didn’t pay back Tesla. He did, however, cover the cost of his rent later years in life. Essentially pennies compared to what was owed. The government also was highly involved with Tesla, including spying on him at least the last few years of his life, and taking all his work and filtering it to the public. If they knew Tesla was so valuable, why didn’t they contract more work with him? That, to me, is a very good question. They were worried about other countries kidnapping him or taking his inventions, but they didn’t think to utilize him until right after he died by taking all his work for free?
From my understanding of the events that took place, J.P. Morgan/General Electric is why Nikola Telsa never made it to market. Westinghouse Generators and the Niagra Falls test proved the superiority of AC but also depleted Westinghouse's Funds. J.P. Morgan being in the Banking industry was aware of their limited capitol; threatened to sue Westinghouse for patent infringement while demanding the AC patent. (Back before the Anti-trust laws were in place) Westinghouse, knowing the legal defense of the accusation would have bankrupted him; chose to relinquish the AC patent to J.P. Morgan/General Electric and keep what little he had left. They got stiff armed and swindled out of the Patent.
If you have read Ayn Rand's book Atlas Shrugged, all the brilliant inventors and scientists suddenly "disappear" overnight. Maybe the govt gave Nikola a new identity and placed a dupe in his place. Maybe in an alternate history book that records what really happened at that time, Nikola lived a new life with a new family and was contracted with the US govt...because of Nikola, we have all the modern ELF weapons technology, and it must've been extremely valuable during an era that signaled the beginning of the Cold War with Russia.
Yes, he said that but you will understand it fully when you read the whole article. Tesla was smart, but attitude will take a part. No wonder why Tesla was not successful on his time.

The big problem with people like him is that they are so far ahead of their time, that others can't grasp what their concepts are. Genius: Here's a design for an anti-gravity drive. Scientists: Anti-gravity drives are pure fantasy and are impossible in reality, get out of here. Businessman: I wonder if this will work, I can steal the idea and make some money off it if it does.

Tesla not only was a genius but his intentions were good. He was inventing to serve others, not to swindle them. I think you explained it pretty well. I would add that it wasn’t all about $ for Tesla. I respect and am truly inspired by Elon Musk. Most people I’ve know who make or have even millions handed to them change with the money. Elon seems to have managed to remain humble. Some see what they can get, and some see what they can give. Elon maybe 1 person who has effectively walked the middle ground and for that he should be looked up to as a role model unlike tyrants such as the DC executioner you’ve mentioned. I like Elon was bullied at a young age, and had to find confidence through struggles, trials, and tribulations. I consider myself humble but soft hearted. I’ve worked for companies and believe I was a significant part in making at least 2 people quite wealthy while not acheaving close to the same for myself. I guess you could say I put others before self or I feel serving others is more important than serving self. Some see that as strength and some will see that as a weakness. I see it as both. If I had even 3 hundred million. I would still live pretty modestly and come up with ways to serve others with the money. Probably invest a couple million, and then use my time coming up with unique solutions to real people problems. Although I’m nowhere near as genius as either Nikola, Tesla or Elon Musk, I share Teslas humanity so will probably die broke as he did. I would also like to add that I was fascinated by Tesla at a young age and was able to find information about him then that it seems is no longer available. He had theories of magnetism and frequencies explaining how pyramids likely not built by ridiculously large numbers of slaves but by few. We have an example of 1 man placing stones that weighed tons. For reference of this, I think you can still simply google coral castles, and see for yourselves. If we can be made to believe somethings not possible we won’t try I guess. Elon Musk believes he can move mountains and fly to Mars, he didn’t believe he couldn’t so he soars with the stars. A few months ago, my daughter looked up in the sky and said daddy what’s that? I wasn’t sure at the time but told her I think that’s Elon Musk’s starlink. She said is this musklink guy Santa Claus? I told her he’s proof that one man can move the world. Sky is no longer the limit. I would like to personally think Elon Musk for showing my children what said is impossible is possible. Musk for President. I write this from her account, she’s hoping his sleigh (starlink) arrives for Christmas lol -Caleb
Sir? Was he knighted? If so, that’s new to me. That man will always be an inspiration to me and a new generation of scientists who are now learning the truth about him.
To be honest, Tesla was a incredible inventor and scientist. Light years ahead of his time. If we followed in more of tesla's foot steps and took his work serious we would honestly be way more ahead in technology than we are now. I am strongly left with a distaste on elons comment because edison might have brung his work to the world. But Tesla showed so much more incredible feets in electricity and lighting. And so much more... One thing that keeps elon from reaching his true intentions is needing others to become his team to help bring a vision forward and that is very difficult. When you got power to become something great all the money can bring great people but it only takes that one person to drive it all light years ahead of its time. Elon still has never meet a soul like this ever and probaly will not due to his lack in understanding of human intelect. The way he hires people is a very good example..
I regret stating that Elon Musk is not a rocket scientist! He certainly is, and in fact he is the lead engineer at SpaceX. He is also a business “magNET” ;)
A couple more corrections to this video: The museum that Elon Musk donated to is in New York, not Belgrade.
Also, the electric chair actually utilizes A/C, not D/C!

I write this from her account, she’s hoping his sleigh (starlink) arrives for Christmas lol

Musk, like Edison, is a good marketer. Tesla is a bona fide genius born before his time.
The reason I got my electrical and computer engineering degree was because of Nikola Tesla. I started learning about him as a kid in the early 90's.
Justin Quaid He's a big name in the electrical engineering world, a fascinating historical figure.
I don't like Edison but I love Sir Nicola Tesla 🙏🏼,so much that I forget that Edison existed

Sir? Was he knighted? If so, that’s new to me.
That man will always be an inspiration to me and a new generation of scientists who are now learning the truth about him.
Never knew Edison existed. The more I know him the more hate I have for him
To be honest, Tesla was a incredible inventor and scientist.
