I can definitely relate with everything you said about your cycle! What a gorgeous Saturday Hannah 🌼 the five people you meet in heaven caught my attention, just added it in my tbr 📚

Ahh hotel Nantucket is one of my favorite summer reads ever! Elin Hildebrand does an amazing job of setting the Nantucket scene so beautifully. It’s a fun light hearted read and the way all of the stories connect in the end it brilliant!
Wow i absolutley love love the new painting you picked!! theres something about those types of artwork that gives such a comforting , peaceful, classy vibe in a home!
I absolutely love that frame!! Maybe try to paint it with a similar color as your door knob/ hook to tie in those colors too?? Or maybe add a patina to the gold to make it softer?? But the frame itself is beyond beautiful!
what a lovely vlog. so calming and comfy to see you enjoying the beautiful parts of life...good food, flowers and sunshine. increasing my magnesium helps with bloating before period.
The perfect way to start a Sunday - your vlog and a cuppa ❤ such a beautiful vlog, so relaxing to watch. Good luck with finding a garden chair. Have you considered an egg chair? Perfect to sit in with a good book x
I LOVE that you listen to American country music. I was just jamming to that song White Horse by Chris Stapleton last night. I woke up with it in my head. Both of those songs are on my country playlist.
I have just finished reading 'The five people you meet in Heaven', it is a beautiful, heartfelt story that everyone could learn something from. I have given it to my brother to read as I enjoyed it so much, a nice short meaningful read. Thank you for your other recommendations, I have added them to my reading list. Such a cozy Saturday vlog 🌷🌾
The silent patient was one of the best books I’ve read! ❤ also thank you for mentioning cycles/hormones I actually didn’t think you bloated at all you always look so put together, hope you feel better it genuinely is the worst 😅
i really needed to hear tht about ur cycle so tysm. been beating myself up today bc ive been feeling so irritable when its such a nice day and i know its just bc of my hormones and i was just getting frustrataed so its rlly nice to hear im not alone. Xxxx
The colors in your picture match perfectly with your whole house color scheme. And I believe that includes the frame. Because the frame picks up the colors from the wood of the door. However, if the gold is too bright, definitely tone it down or change out the frame altogether. Also, those flowers would look absolutely gorgeous in that wicker picnic basket that I saw you holding from home Sense. We don’t have a HomeSense in Springfield Missouri but we do have HomeGoods. And I found out that HomeSense and HomeGoods are related in the sense that HomeGoods is a sister store of HomeSense. Both are supported by T.J. Maxx.
I can relate to your ovarian cysts. The middle of the month ovulation time is so super painful. That is called mittelschmerz and usually not dangerous but it can be incredibly painful and sometimes associated with large cysts. Glad you are seeing a specialist to have it checked out just to be safe and get any treatment options. That dinner looked delicious and enjoy your books! Great choices. Happy Sunday 😊
I have a book recommendation that you might like! It's called the Garden of Lost and Found by Harriet Evans. So far, it hasn't been particularly uplifting, but I think some of the writing is beautiful and it's the countryside setting with stories from three different generations, so you may still enjoy it!
Cant stop watching your videos to Cotswolds we live in Solihull & used to go to Broadway a lot etc but now my husband can't drive I dont like driving that far but my friend took me to Daylesford & Stow it was good to see them again❤
I just love your videos! The aesthetic lifestyle and the natural behavior from your side, just gorgeous! And thanks a lot for the book ideas, I will definitely try some of them :)
I need a mom version of Hannah. Any recommendations? To get tips and lessons in health while also managing a household with kids but share the same vibe as Hannah
You need to follow @askcharliehow - Charlie is a wealth of information sharing home, children, animals, english countrylife, fashion, home comforts / lifestyle & practical homemaking, all whilst running her own business! A must follow! ❤
Don't forget to look up the 1950's THE THORN BIRDS by Colleen McCullough....OMG...It is by far the best book I have ever read and at almost 62 years old I have read over 100 books in the past 10 years. Just an FYI. Your mother would love it as well so you can pass it down to her and she can pass it on to someone else!
@@HannahAdkins You got it! Not sure if you like short movie series but they made that 1950's book story into a television show in the 1980's. I think you can buy the DVD(s). Read the book first though because I watched the series back in the 80's with my parents and the book blows the TV story out of the water!
I spent my first trip to Hawaii with my face buried in that book when it first came out. I’m the same age as you @crazydozylady7169 and fully agree that, as is usually the case, the book was better. Sooooo love your content Hannah! Every product I’ve ever purchased on your recommendation has been wholly wonderful!
i read weyward a few months back and loved it! the writing, character build, setting and plot is so good i think you'll really like it! please keep su posted
Try to take 450 mg of magnesium the 2 weeks before your cycle. I tried that for the past few months and the first month I noticed no change, but then I started to feel less low-tummy pain. But I used to suffer from chronic chronic pain and these past 2 months were such a miracle for me!! I also started to walk much much more, doing even 2 hours walk per day during the previous 2 weeks or 10 days before my period. I also get very bloated and I found that only very long walks after dinner help with my bloated stomach...It's such a burden..I feel you
Hi Hannah, I'm only just watching this video. I have endometriosis and experience the symtoms you mention. Unfortunately endometriosis often gets missed (even with scans). Mine was only found when a great consultant performed a laparoscopy, despite nunerous scans showing nothing. If you haven't already, i'd go back to your doctor and ask for further investigation. Around the time of the month, I also ache a lot, almost like I have the flu. I use Neals Yard Warming Salve for this, which is Leaping Bunny approved and organic. Taking a magnesium supplement in the days leading up to your period might help too.
Hannah 😊the Nantucket book is great ! It actually made me travel to Nantucket and visit the places described. That place is so amazing that seems not the real world ❤ enjoy the book!
I suffer from ovarian cysts as well. The first time I experienced one, it actually ended up rupturing and caused internal bleeding. I was in the hospital for a good two weeks with that. Afterwards, anytime I felt that pain I would rush to the doctor. The pain can definitely range from mild to horribly excruciating. I have had times where it was difficult to sit or painful to walk & also like you, was unable to get out of bed for days. My doctor would only order a scan, tell me I have a cyst the size if grapefruit on my ovary & send me home saying it should dissolve on its own in a few days. 😳 After going through this so often, I finally just gave up going through all of that & i just monitor how I’m feeling on my own but that’s just how I personally learned how to deal with my body. Everyone is different & I would definitely recommend seeing a doctor especially if you’re having that much pain. I really hope all is ok and that you find some answers.
Hi Hannah, I love your vlogs 💗 so comfy cosy and just blissful to watch! I have just read Westward and it was so good! I think you're going to really enjoy this book! Sending love from Kent X
I am obsessed with Nantucket right now. I was watching P Lorenze videos and she influenced me! Lol You will love Elin H books, just finished Five Star Weekend, so good. Lovely video, hope you are feeling better. Xo
This video couldn't be more fitting for me. I'm honestly currently feeling like a beached whale. It's horrible. I'm the same really makes you feel gross and want to hide away! Xxx
I highly recommend seeing a herbalist for period problems. I used to be in awful pain every month and had to take a ton of painkillers, wrapped in a heated blanket, unable to do anything productive for those few days every month because of the pain. I started taking herbs recently and they’ve honestly worked wonders, taken the pain down to zero and no longer have to use painkillers. So I do recommend it as an option if the doctors are unable to do anything for you.
I love the painting and you should keep the frame …….. I have noted the books down they all sound good … i recommend you read Hope and happiness in bluebell wood by Ali McNamara or actually any books by her …….your pasta dinner looked so yum maybe you could post the recipe plus always investigate pain that you feel isn’t right don’t ever accept it’s just because we are women go get it looked into ……. 📚💛📚
Lovely day, Miss Hannah! I have been meaning to ask you.. where did you purchase your Pilates socks? I'm about to embark on an adventure in taking my FIRST Pilates class and I am in need of good, non-toxic Pilates socks! Many thanks if you have the time to respond! Also, what is your dad's recipe for the lovely tomato salad, as well as the croutons? It would be AWESOME if you could give the recipe(s)!! Many blessings ahead!!💖
Love the painting! If I was you, I would get it out of the frame and hang it up "frameless". That way you'll just look at the painting and not the frame, as it is quite in your face....❤
What an amazing picture! You should strip the frame (if possible) and get a stain the color of your awesome stripped vintage doors! That pic reminds me of the Surrey home Rosehill Cottage in THE HOLIDAY movie! LUV LUV LUV IT!!!!!! 30 pounds I think is 35.00 in american money. That would sell for 500.00 dollars here in OHIO. I love when you go shopping especially vintage shopping. xo from Nancy and Wally the Wiener Dog in OHIO. Wally sends his dog germs to Rue!
Yet again another brilliant video. Can I please ask where you bought the gorgeous net panels in your bedroom and also from a previous video I noticed either yourself or your parents cook using a casserole with square style handles and a chrome style knob on the lid, I’m looking for toxic free casseroles, keep the videos coming, thank you

It sounds like your ovarian cysts may have ruptured. I dealt with it for years. Ovulation is a time it can happen. The pain has taken me to the emergency room more than once.
Let me know if you want a private recommendation for a consultant near you. I have just had surgery for endometriosis and the care was outstanding ❤
Get yourself checked out again regarding the pain and cysts.
I’m awaiting treatment for a Hemorrhagic cyst at the moment. I have pcos and endometriosis so I experience pain a lot anyway, but the past year it’s become worse and I finally bit the bullet and got seen. I have a large one on my left side that’s problematic and has been wiping me out completely which isn’t like me, normally I can just work through the pain. Don’t do what I did and wait it out. Every month it would be unbearable around ovulation and my period and I’d forget about it once the pain went and now the pain is every day and worse if I do too much. I’m waiting to hear back about surgery and I’m hoping it doesn’t affect my entire left ovary. Absolutely not trying to fear-monger with this, I just don’t want anyone to be in the position I’m in as I put it down to normal female pains. Get yourself seen and get it fixed so it doesn’t affect you long term.
