- another week in my life vlog, baking, shopping, chatting, cooking dinner for my parents, country walks, pretty villages and how I have been feeling. lots of love xxx

Tahini bites recipe:
(I switched out the sugar for coconut sugar and would also highly recommend adding in choc chips before baking)

Dinner for my parents recipe (rough bc I make it up as I go):
Step one:
1 whole onion
1/3 fennel bulb fresh
2 garlic cloves
Broccoli stalks
Pinch of celery salt
Cook down
Step two:
Add whole can of chopped tomato’s
Veg stock cube 1 pint of water
1/2 tsp miso
Cook until all soft and then blend
Step three:
Add 1 can of chickpeas whole
Add finely chopped courgette and broccoli
Step four:
Cook pasta separately and add at the end
Top with homemade croutons and vegan cheese

On the one hand I’d love to see Thailand but on the other hand, I feel you should enjoy it without pressure if filming and enjoy your time together ❤
How refreshing to hear what you are saying about your home. So many UA-camrs go for neutral and I look at their homes and think - where is there some colour/personality. Their artwork is bland; even having flowers that are neutral. Their houses all look the same. Plus they over buy and then don't know where to put things. For some it is an obsession.
Your home should reflect you as an individual and built over time with gifted items or items collected over time which mean something . I love Leonora Smee's house as there is so much colour ; it is so cheerful and things mean something to her and it feels like a home. Thailand vlog would be great; we all need to see some sunshine.
I completely agree that your home should be uniquely decorated with everything that you love and without stressing about fitting a certain aesthetic or style. I'm sure being away from each other is not easy for you! I'd love to see a Thailand vlog for sure ❤

A lovely, relaxing vlog. You have such a calm, authentic manner, I truly enjoy each time I get to sit and watch. Your mentioning about the way you want to decorate vs. trying to fit into another person's version of the perfect aesthetic was so wonderful to hear! Sometimes it's hard when we see the perfectly curated home on social media and we loose some of our individuality. Have a wonderful rest of the week and tell Kenny we are all missing him too!

Soooo I started this video when I was busy in the kitchen last night and I had to stop it. I don't know why I started it when I was already busy doing something. Your videos, Hannah, are so beautiful, they only deserve my 100% full attention. So tonight after work, after cooking and clean up, when I've made a cuppa tea and I'm sat down, THEN can I watch your vid. I ADORE your content. Feels like I'm sat with a friend I've known for years. Love from Yorkshire 🫶
A tip for leek: I cut it dirty and than put it in a colander under the tap. Múch easier! As for prepping, I have a Magimix kitchen machine, which also has graters/slicer blades. Só easy and efficient! ❤

Of course we want to see your travels to visit Kenny in Thailand! Not only because we miss him too, but how fun to see what living in Thailand is like. Do what you are most comfortable doing though.
And I love your choices of neutrals but the very beginning of the vlog I thought of how difficult it would be to keep your furniture nice with small children and then you started talking about that exact point. I love the idea of adding personal touches of things that you love and that remind you of people that you love is perfect. It may not live up to the standard of a magazine spread but it is real life and brings you joy. One day, you will have children’s artwork and papers up and it will make you smile. My husband just found an art book that our daughter did when she was 5 and it was so much fun to look through. She drew pictures of her friends, and it was too funny to see how often she said that someone had skinned their knee and why (totally misspelling as she went). Those are the sort of memories that will give your home a personal feel and that you and Kenny will get to create together. Best wishes.

Enjoy your time with Kenny - I had a 5 year stint of living in two different states during the early part of our marriage with two children, so I totally understand. 41 years later - we are enjoying semi retirement together.

Loved todays vlog Hannah Your so right about the house making it into a "Home" our present home is a 1960 2 bed bungalow it's the 2nd youngets house we bought are other houses we pre war We sold up and moved in with our daughter in manchester like your parents have but we had to wait until somthing came up and this bungalow came for sale along with one 2 doors up we veiwed both but this had such a homely feel it needed lots of work 😂 and we went down the neutral route too We are still 2 beds to redo as we had builders in for 18 month while living her not fun and the dowsizing doesn't work😂 You got me with fridge magnets I hid my away as the did not go with the aesthetics but dam I am now going to dig them out as I love them! A vlog on Thailand would be nice but it your and Kennys time dont spoil it for Your home will evolve this is our 5th home it takes time just enjoy the process x❤

Also yes to the pre period symptoms- as a holistic menstrual coach ive found lots of water (woth electrolytes) during the luteal phase to be really helpful!
And also herbal teas like Dandelion and burdock & nettle can be so helpful for supporting your liver and helping with retention as well as the breakouts xx
What do the electrolytes do specifically in the luteul phase if you don’t mind elaborating please?
during the Luteal phase progesterone is highest, so our temp should also rise. We will feel warmer as our body compensates for the heat, so hydration to keep us cooler in short but that will help with sleep and mood/irritability too. 2. we may crave lots of salt due to a number of reasons but in turn that's our body's cry for more salts naturally, and when we give ourselves electrolytes like sodium, water will follow! Thus our cells are being nourished giving us more energy & life. Lastly, the luteal phase means a slower digestion process (for the purpose of potential pregnancy) so enough hydration will help with digestion and any constipation we sometimes get in this phase. @@d26s10

I enjoy your videos , learning a bit more of plant based eating which I find interesting plus that bean thing you cooked look so nice is there a recipe for that ? I have that book to read The viallge of lost and found didn’t know it was a second book I will have to get the first one , I love those sorts of books , I highly recommend New beginnings at the wildflower loch by Hannah Lynn which is a first in a series and I read the second and it was so good , plus she wrote a book in another series the first is The sweet shop of second chances by Hannah Lyn also set in a village setting and was really good , maybe you could recommend more books 📚💞📚

Omg I had to comment. For the whole week before my period my confidence is sooooo low. I feel like a a different person. I have recently started drinking raspberry leaf tea which I read is great for pms symptoms if you drink it on the build up to your period. I will let you know how I get on. X
