Most delicious soup! I had the pleasure of eating Yia Yia Maria’s homemade chicken soup with lemon, prepared by Yia Yia Maria’s daughter Despina! Really delicious!!!
I know it's been a couple of years but thank you for putting up these videos. One of my favorite memories was my yiayia cooking avgolemono or kritharaki while papou was in the other room yelling about when the food was going to done. Lovingly of course. "Vrai beba! Pote tha einai etimo to fayi?!" (I understand the Greek but not sure how the words would be spelled in English, lol.)
I loved this soup my mum used to make it for when she was alive I love it ….Just been shops to get all the ingredients to make it popped on UA-cam to see how to do it and I couldn’t believe it the lady’s name was same as my mums Despina ..My mum was from cypress
This is sooo beautiful. I love cooking and thanks god i found this youtube channel. Grandmas are the best! And you, cameraman, you have a great voice! Like a radio announcer or smt. Great work family! New subscriber
It does take a village to make Avgolemeno, it's a family affair..... But why we are Greek there isn't enough families and ya yas online making videos about authentic excellent Greek food you had to ruin it by using Latin music for the ending you couldn't find a great Greek theme song that you could have used like come on we need more Greek content online and you just ruined it by playing Latin music at the end I have to say That ruined it for me was very disappointing try to use Greek music we are Greek not Latina no disrespect cause I love the Latin world but why.....!!!!!!!!
