- Hey there
Melrose Arch in Johannesburg always puts on the best Christmas lights show in the city. The Jeppe Pipe Band was amazing too! Despite the rain, I had a wonderful time.

Thanks for showing us! I live in Sweden so we have a lot of snow here now.
Sweden is on my bucket list! It looks so beautiful in videos.
Oh thank you so much !🙏🙏🙏 You're a starr😊 I enjoyed it so much! When I saw all the Christmas lights there were tears running down my cheeks as I felt so nostalgic. We also have Christmas lights here, but SA is in my heart forever. ❤
I felt guilty that you had to get wet to film there. Thanks so much once again 🤗
It’s a pleasure. I thoroughly enjoyed myself despite the rain . I love Christmas lights ❤️

Ecclesiastes 5: 17 (KJV) All his days also he eateth in darkness, and he hath much sorrow and wrath with his sickness.
Great video as always Khanyi. I left SA before Melrose arch opened but I know the area well. What are you planning for new year's? Will you be going anywhere special?
Thanks Vincent. I'll be going to Swaziland for the holidays to spend time with family. How about you?
@@KhanyiMamba I'd love to go back to Swaziland. I was there 4 or 5 times at a resort I can't remember. Big casino and chalets. It was 1991-93. This was before SA legalised gambling! Unfortunately for me I'll be in the cold and wet in Ireland Khanyi. But maybe one day I'll return to see Swaziland.
Wow, you have been to Swaziland! The resort is called the Royal Swazi Sun. It's in Ezulwini 🙂 Unfortunately, it closed down during Covid but there are plans to reopen it, hopefully soon.
@@KhanyiMamba yes! That's the one. I can't believe it's over 30 years now since I was there. I must go again soon. I remember the fireworks still from new year's eve 1992 at the resort! I was really young and so wanted to gamble at the casino at 12 years old. Lol
😄 The fireworks were a long-standing tradition and many people looked forward to seeing them each year. I really hope they eventually open again. It was a beautiful resort.
