Man I just wanna thank you HH for your contents. I honestly think I would've quit raid months ago if it weren't for your videos. At this point I feel like I have a PhD in raid. There were so many days where I didnt even wanna come back to raid cause as a f2p sometimes you loose all hope in this game. But when I get your notifications for your videos it always brings me back to this game.
Once again I just wanna thank you for everything you do for the community man.

I felt this. It’s boring because there’s not many people who make videos for newer players or free to play players, and if it’s a free to play video it’s like an hour long of gameplay in which nobody wanna sit for that long to learn one or two things . Everyone been making videos for endgame players or legendary this and legendary that, or for clearing wave 20 on this or that, but rarely do you see videos helping the lower players get to the endgame. Hellhades is one of the only who cares still about us
Honestly the worst part of f2p isn't dealing with lack of energy or anything, it's getting the new champions you need to succeed. I'm lucky that Shieldguard's really easy to get and Ultimate Deathknight is free right now and really amazing in most content. besides those 2, the only characters I consistently use are my starter champ Kael and an Elder Skarg that I got from an ancient shard (or sacred shard, im not sure) during a 2x legendary drop rate event. Getting loads of ancient shards to get chances at good rares or epics takes a decent amount of time for me (took maybe 2 weeks or so to save up 12 ancient shards) and void shards seem harder to get than sacred shards at the moment lol.
Bit out of context but I’m digging the background setup you’ve got going on, it has probably always looked that way but first time actually noticing!
I love this kind of video. No matter how many times I see HH or other creators rate and rank champions, even when I own them already, I just watch it right up.
I need rares all of a sudden to try to complete the missions, can't get that leggo lizard without doing all the secret rooms.

I really like that he doesn't have stupid visual effects and random caveman sounds on his videos every 10 seconds unlike other Raid Content Creators... They really annoy me. So childish and unnecessary
My last 6* was a Fellhound, and the 13th overall. It changed my account. I can go for those Legos books now in champ training (best reward n the game for any event). A couple hours of active play I can make like 6k points. I have stopped like 2k points away from those many many times, given the time it took to do everything. I don't play all day everyday, so it was huge the time saving for me. One of the best QoL you can invest in IMO.
Thank you HH, this was a helpful video for me! I have just a 6 star Kael and did not know who to 6 star second. I pulled a lucky coldheart and apothecary who are both 5 star as well as a warmaiden. I was told to 6 star the coldheart second by other people but I just don't think I will see the real early game benefit from that route so I appreciate the info in this video saying do her 5th or 6th.
More discussion about Doom Tower secret rooms would be appreciated in these types of videos 👍

This is my next area of focus. To be fair, Soda Dragon makes MANY rare secret room videos that are quite good.
VERY much so. At least gave a mention to two rares for DT secret rooms but really its a videio that needs to be done but so far he has not opted for it

This is valuable information, I'll have to rewatch it a few times. Would also be nice to see a video of what champions to purge without any remorse. My champ slots are full and I'm stuck in a gridlock.
You can upgrade the vault with gems or coins to save dup champs you might need for extra stats in the faction guardian feature

Spymaster from Bannerlords is a pretty good rare. At least a solid 50 if not a full 60. He has a buff decreaser A1, AOE block buffs A2, and a counter attack A3 with a semi AOE provoke attached which helps his A1 do some work if by chance the enemy does get some buffs out.
He drops off very fast

I would add for Bellower: To be useful, must be 6 star, leave him alone or commit to 60. Unlike Apo or Reliquary Tender who are amazing at 50, Bellower is "a wet noodle" at 50. I have geared him so many times! But when he hit 60 and got full masteries, he tears through waves like tissue paper. A good Seer alternative for wave damage. (Who also kinda sucks until she is maxxed out)
Bellower is not EVEN CLOSE to seer for wave clear at later levels. For end game he is just a campaign or wave control champ basically but SEER does CLEAR WAVES like no other. Wish I had her.
No love for abyssal, i think he's the best rare added to the game since a long long time ago
He has a great kits and that aoe A1 is sweet, stun set and immortal I had mine in, worked great

quick point out for shadowkin, theres a rare called bloodmask with a turn meter drop on his a1, but its actually able to land on a weak hit
Want to appreciate Frozen Banshee a little more. Even though she is not in CB team anymore, she found her place in my 60 seconds Dragon 24 team doing her job amazingly.
The caveat to this entire video is when you are ready to go through Doom Tower on hard and get the secret rooms that are rares only and a single affinity. Hard to keep them all at 50 and clear the rooms. That would be a helpful video HH. Best rares to level to get through secret rooms in Doom Tower.
Came to post this but checked if someone already has. I've searched Reddit and UA-cam and haven't seen a good list for the rare attack and rare spirit rooms. Ideally you could do all rare attack spirit and cover both. Would all Soulbond Bowyer's in Stun do it? I think the waves have cleansing though.
@@adam212192110 If they don't have passive cleansing than it should still work. I think I have seen multiple Soulbond in Stun get it done.
Bannerlords . Chevalier actually insanely hard hitting defence based Rare , I 6s him for the laughs and got quite surprised with the results
Sacred Order . Chapplin is a sleeper op damage Healer like Grush or Sinesha , I would 6s her and Draconis is a really helpful Rare in FW , I would 6s him also
Barbarians : Berserker is really good damage dealer and deffinetly worth as 6s especially in Spirit secret rooms
Dwarfs : Dilgol is really good if you put him in Stun gear . I built him as 6s for all rare rooms and he absolutely carried the room . His kit can help quite alot in Dungeon areas aswell
ShadoKin: Fanatic is an absolute beast of champion people are sleeping on him deffinetly worth as 6s.

Great guide and Hell hades helped me early game to stop making dumb decisions good to see Coffin Smasher made it to the 60s list as I saw another creator Soda Dragon make teams for hard to kill Doom Tower bosses that I was struggling with with Coffin Smasher and I was like...I think Coffin Smasher I should max for that boss because I don't have other solutions for killing high level Iragoth and Griffin especially Griffin because you know...Skybond stack problems...

Fellhound is definitely useful as a 60 he can be used in multiple secret rooms something like 5 or 6

geargrinder from ogryn tribes for FW revive.
Fencer is slept on as well. Drop defense and AOE decent damage as well

Hi there, new to your channel and subbed. I have a question if you don't mind answering. How is power stacked up, been trying to work it out and just can't lol. Been playing the game 3 months and only ever had one legendary which was pants. Take advantage of all the plus summons and still not getting the 'good ones' in each faction/affinity. The problem with keeping Rares for secret rooms to 50 with me is that my Great Hall is not developed so I need those stats to be able to survive.
Yes that's certainly something CC's almost always forget to take into account . It's practically impossible to push gold arena without the absolute best Champs/gear so the GH can't get developed properly

Fencer and Odachi definitely deserved a mention
So did Myrmidon, not 60 but definitely strong early on to keep the team alive

The trouble I have is that, when watching these vids, half the time it says to not use this champ, then says this 'rare' is great for this or that. It's this or that, then goes back to this, to which I cannot do. Obviously if I get Coldheart, then ye, I'm keeping, but I get these epics and such, and compared to rares/epics, idk who is 'better.'
EDIT: On top of that, I see people saying don't use this person, yet they have them and have them fully booked/maxed/scrolled, etc.
I think both Valerie and Rel tender are worth 6 staring for clan boss, rel tender is also great for Doom Tower and dungeons. They are both great for faction wars. Valerie will work for Brognie infinity shield comps also and it is easier to run 2:1 and 3/2 clan boss comps with her, Rel tender can take care of the stun and if you run her at 2:1 you do not need lifesteal gear with her on the team.
Hexweaver (Dark elf, Spirit, Rare) has 45% (when booked) AOE heal on a 3 turn CD when Minaya (Legendary, Banner lord, Force) has 40% (yes you can book it but let`s be real no1 would waste books on Minaya) with 6 turns CD, on top of it she also has the small speed buff. She is very legit and underrated (ofc you would never use her instead of Bad El or an "actual" champ). She is very good for Faction Wars and Doom Tower and she can be used everywhere you need a healer, her stats are also not bad at all for a rare. A fun champion worth maxing if you are looking for some fun or just let her be 50 if you are new and need a support for dungeons.
Hexweaver heal is only 19 percent when it adds up. It's not flat 10 percent added on its, 30 percent of 15, not added. Though she is actually a big underated champ, just like Valerie the farmable champ. HH overlooks her, her heal can heal upwards to 40 percent of any champ with enough buffs, plus she is a champ that gives attack up extends buffs and decreases buffs. She can cleanse the clan boss stun on 3 turn.
@@johnmccrystal3499 if that's the case Valerie is much better, yes she is underated, i personally use her in stage 21 FW on level 40 just so she can extend the buffs
@@Anastasis-is-here yeah her extension of buffs is what her main ability is, but she brings attack up, and she removes a turn from all debuffs so she can cleanse stuns and sleeps. I've used her to cleanse clan boss stun. I'm end game and I still use her. Her heal on my duchess with over 100k hp is close to 50k a heal it's crazy
Shadowkin faction have underrated champs. Odachi is a blessing for me all across the board and his a3 is magic to me for things like clan boss or arena offense or defense to prevent a nuke from being a nuke.
I just got my bellower in a stun build and holy hell he's amazing. I actually got lucky and pulled a second one during the acrizia event so I'll eventually build that one up to be a campain farmer again so I can fully specialize my kael to something like arena.
Banner Lords - I do like Spymaster. Has some handy skills for the early/mid game.
i just pulled Ifrit and his kit seems similar to seducer or bellower fer good low brow debuffs, anyone know if he is solid or not?
barbarians; Anointed. he is underrated. 3hit A1 (fireknight), buff steal A2 (potion keeps), 25% aoe TM and crit rate (great for arena, and dungeons esp early since crit rate is hard to get, and this will allow u to make ur team with higher crit damage and atk)
what about dagger from banner lords? Is it worth to max?
My favorite rare is Hellfreak. I did get him early game and took him to 60 but he is great fun in arena and effective in dungeons with Giant Slayer imo
Didn't get an apothecary until 10 months in🤣 some of the others mentioned didn't appear until around then either..
and even if I get a better epic.. barely see any books for them., most of my rare books are from the clanshop
Who were your 5 must 60s? Seemed like the only sure 60 was Coldheart, then maybe Apothecary....the rest seemed like fun....maybe Kael?
You often say that a particular rare is good, unless you have a better epic or legendary option, but then you don’t list any of those better options. Those would be really useful to know. Lifetaker from Shadows Kin has been really useful against Fire Knight and Magic Keep for me
Love seeing the love for Ironclad--I started getting kicked for clearing lower Campaign levels because his Blood Burst would kill all enemies before anyone had a turn, himself included! 😂

Id add Sentinel to the list specifically for magma dragon, I ran him at 5 star with Nekhret all the way till DT hard floor 20. Had to take him to 6 star to get enough accuracy for floor 60/100. Him, Nekhret and Apoth combo make magma drag a joke at all stages
I do love seeing the Sentinel appreciation. I've started running Fahrakin along with him and Husk for Magma Dragon and it's just a breeze!
8:56 This is another thing about Ironclad, he can be put in a stun set and regen, and then he stuns up people. (Learned this from Eharbhad)

Yep. And if you pair him with Frostskin, the stun procs don't matter worth a damn, because they're all dead.

Can't believe you left off Fleshmonger, considering he's the only non lego Skinwalker that can do AOE decrease defence. He was huge on my FW team for a long time.
Same, I built him up in lifesteal and damage based and he helped me so much, I've now replaced him with my dupe Cleo so have those two smacking with two aoes each
You should also consider the Doom Tower secret rooms, which can only be played with Rares. That's probably only possible with level 60.
Because I'm missing good epics, I have Itinerant from the Shadowkin faction for Leech Debuff (A1) in the CB5 team. This is very helpful.
I was think this as well. If I hit a DT room for rares, and they are all 50's I know it is all over. I just ask myself if it is worth the resources for 3 fragments.
@@alicelaybourne1620 it can be. The good thing about Rare secret rooms tho is that you can also just kinda cheese some of the earlier ones with dupe Soulbonds or dupe copies of hard hitting rares.
@@alicelaybourne1620 if you ever plan to go for Ramanthu you will need to clear all rooms on hard DT for one of last missions, and first rotation is the easiest one to do
I was lucky enough to pull not one, but 2 coldhearts some what early. she was my 2nd 60....... before i got her I was struggling in most dungeons, since i got her, it made most of the dungeons i was struggling on (spider, fire knight) wayyyy easier. however, im still only on hard clan boss, and she is full mastery, my starter (athel) typically does more damage.. so i agree against the earlier clan bosses, shes probably not as good, but for dungeons, she will be your mvp, even in the early game :)
Yeah, Dwarves are pretty stacked in good rares and great epics, and I feel like I only pull Dwarves, so I had the better Epics early on.
Seducer was very helpful to me for ice golem in the early game, but obv not useful now that I am endgame
Can you do some of these for epic and legendary champs since there is a lot I assume multiple parts would work so your not overwhelmed
Muckstalker is absolutely necessary for the sand devils necropolis
The only rares that I still use in Endgame is Coldheart (spider 25 team) and Bellower (campaign farmer). All other rares that I have on my account I only need for the DT secret rooms.
What would you think about Plarium retiring some of the most fed rares and epics permanently? Obviously compensation should be given to the players who actually invested in those rares and epics respective of how many resources were used. But I don't hate the idea of permanently removing the useless champions. That will increase chances of pulling good Champs but also give the developers room for new characters without completely skewing the pull rates.
I'd rather see them make more secret rooms for those most fed rares to actually see some use

I used him to solo that pos bommal each rotation. It's worth it for that ALONE.
Do you keep all rare or uncommon champions? How do you decide who is good for food?
Cagebound is actually a really cool rare as well just wanted to put that out there.
I will say for anyone who pulls Judge early. Definitely worth the investment, he plays so much like a starter champ. I wish I noticed him when I started. He handles waves very well.
Gnarlhorn is my favourite rare too, just using him finished 90% of hard DT's stages at this rotation. Highly recommended👍

Bold of you to assume someone pulls a better AoE decrease defence than Warmaiden.
My account was over 300 days in (disregarding the hiatus) when I pulled Tayrel and Armina.
And I use Tayrel for dungeons and Faction Wars, so he has different priorities than Warmaiden, who became my go-to for Arena.
Mmh.
I got a new decrease defense (Dhukk the Pierced) at 65-80 days in the game.
Before that it was quite a struggle.
Warmaiden lvl 50 was definitely the weak link of my dragon team.
But now, I'm 260-ish days in, and I have a ton of decrease defense.
Dhukk, Ghostborn, Uugo, Tayrel, TombLord, Deacon Armstrong etc..
So I can see where he comes from.
Well, if you just use her for arena, most certainly you don't need her to be 60. She's not the one dealing damage, I hope. in fact in arena you can literally use only the nuker at 60, while booster(s), CC and debuffer are at lvl1 and achieve the same exact thing.

@@lanami6681 if you're not aiming to stay in upper Gold5, 300 acc is more than enough. And if you can't get to 300 acc with a chest and 3 acc sets (it's 200 without any other substat), you probably need to farm gear rather than taking champs to 60. I agree about the booster, though. A triple speed roll on the banner can be big and most of them gain speed with the sixth ascension too.
@@stefanoconrotto9998 maybe you're right about accuracy, even in g5 my Leo with meager 190 acc regularly places weaken o_O but g5 is a mess right now

I am finding lifetaker in shadowkin is quite handy.
Imo you overlooked geargrinder, mycolus, abyssal, banshee, odachi and vagabond. I also like how half the rares you mentioned you added that you probably wouldn't max them, that was quite funny.

You forgot Geargrinder from ogryn tribe i am definitely gonna make him level 60, build him fast, high effective HP and some 250 resist just for FW21.
I don't understand why dagger is so underestimated. I got stag knight recently and i still use dagger instead because she is void :)...hits like crazy and she's not even in savage. Also has both decrease def/atk. She's a great champ overall. Only downside is she is kind of squishy :)

I would consider any rares like sentinel (magma dragon) or paragon (nether spider) to be worthy 60s. Since you will be constantly clearing doom tower bosses
How do you use Paragon on Nether Spider? never knew it worked. And generally I regret taking paragon to 4* because it was easier to cheese things with sub-par champions when he was weaker.
@@stefanoconrotto9998 he can solo the boss, put him into a deflection or poison set. Can do it at lvl30 but obviously faster at 60. There's a few videos on it if you get stuck
Funny how you ignore the rares when you are progressing and then you have to build them in end game for Doom Tower Secret room, im currently building and Gearing like 20 rares because the only rares I build where my starter, pain keeper and Cold heart.
I've 6 starred so many that I thought were going to be better. I'm sure I've fed the wrong as well but I'm still plugging away. Eventually it'll workout 😆 🤣 🤞
