Now we're smart enough to know pedos take jobs that keep them in close proximity to children. Priests, Boy Scouts, & teachers/coaches are the main ones to watch out for.

I have come to the conclusion that the Catholic Church is both a literal blood-sacrifice cult and a pedophile cult. They are also responsible for the numerous "Crusades" where non-believers were killed in their millions. The first Jewish genocides were perpetrated by the Catholic church. Then, there are the Spanish Conquistadores who by bloody execution or disease killed millions in Central and South America, just to fill the coffers of Catholic Spain with gold. It's the world's largest cult.
When I was a teen, I went on a Catholic weekend retreat. I found out at the end of that week that the priest, that I had been alone with, was stepping down due to multiple sexual abuse allegations. I was absolutely shocked and angry that I had been unknowly put in proximity to that monster. Scary stuff.
As soon as you said the boys used to spend the night with the priest I thought oh no I know where this is going!

Absolute disgrace concerning THAT priest. So sad
Although I now live in CA, I grew up around Springfield MA and left for CA in 1969. From the local news there, it looks to me like the cops deliberately waited until this priest was about to die to actually charge him. Although he was a convicted pedophile, there is no hard evidence that he murdered that boy. It looks to me like the prosecutor's case was so weak that they carefully planned the charges to almost coincide with the priest's death, just so that they can make the Phony Claim to the public that they "solved" the case when they really didn't. Using the words of a senile 80 year old man that were coerced by detectives is hardly solid proof. I do believe that the priest probably did kill the boy, but believing it and proving it in court are 2 different things. The 1st District Attorney (in the Croteau case) should've been investigated. He was friends with the bishop. That has to be a conflict of interest. And you have to wonder if that friendship factored into the priest getting 12 years probation 🤨

It was a lot on my plate sometimes but the rewards from helping out so many soldiers was worth every bit of my time and effort. Made amazing friends and memories that will be with me for the rest of my life. It was a privilege to serve not a right. That's something that separates our military from most of the world. Ours is a 100% volunteer service. You have to want to be a soldier, sailor, marine etc. Then pass a selection process. I'm getting carried away. GOD bless you all.

My father was in the navy during Vietnam.
When he came home him and his buddy's went to the bar. A man called him a baby killer and spit in his face. My dad, who never laid a hand on us kids, knocked that guy out. The cops were called and he was put in cuffs. After everything was settled, the police uncuffed him and muttered their apologies.
That was his homecoming.
He always taught us to respect military personnel and I thank every service member I meet for their time.
Like you said, you volunteered to join the army. You chose to keep our country safe.
Much respect, my friend.
You are the best crime channel, addictive 💯
What kind of parents would let any clergyman anywhere near their kids! Unbelievable!
Things were so different back then. My siblings and I went to Parochial school. The Priests and nuns were always trusted members of the community. Parents rarely believed their children if they spoke up. Those who did only suffered more if their parents didn’t believe them.
Parents who didn't think for themselves. They were indoctrinated to think they believe the church was always right. Then on top of that, what did the church do once the facts were known, told Parents to bring their children to church for healing. BULL F*****G SHIT and just recently the Pope wrote into Vatican Law, think about this, he had to write into Vatican law, that it was illegal to sexual assault/abuse anyone in the church and covered it up. How messed up is it that just a law needs to be written so to make it known in church of all place, that touching people without their approval is wrong.
@@sammysam2615 True! Religion has always been the safest place for paedophiles to operate. With the education system coming in a close second.
@@sammysam2615 Again, times were so much different then. No car seats, seat belts didn’t have to be worn (if they were even in the vehicle), drinking and driving was not a big deal, we rode in the back of pickup trucks, you went outside to play early in the morning and returned before street lights came on...the list is endless. Indoctrination had nothing to do with any of it. We’re Catholic. We didn’t go to Mass every single Sunday. Still don’t. Being an alter boy back then was a huge honour. We girls were quite jealous of it.
