    Whether you pass or fail a polygraph shouldn't determine whether you're innocent or guilty because there's numerous reasons whether you pass or fail a test and its not entirely accurate which is why they're not allowed to be used as evidence in a court of law

    • @hannahrose266
      @hannahrose266 Місяць тому +6

      Tell me about it, it's astounding that they're allowed to be utilized at all anymore. I was given one for a job and failed having not lied to a single question. I imagine my having always seriously doubted the authenticity of these tests and anxiety issues had something to do with the results. Both being qualities way too common among the public to factor into results of such a serious test

      Apparently, she was trying to be more womanly. The parents were having a hard time with her hanging around grown men, wearing makeup and women's wear rather than clothing for young girls. This is likely why she looks like a grown woman rather than a young girl her age.

    CL I love these series of stories that you tie together that all have a common connection. Poor Ms. Helen Tobolski. All she was doing was cleaning at ND and someone ended her life and riffled through her handbag, which most likely didn’t hold much wealth, and yet they shot her dead as if she wasn’t someone’s mother, sister or Aunt. These are all such sad stories but the Burkert and Addison is a crazy case which will most likely remain unsolved, along with Carolyn Wasilewski.

    The hatcher part of that last entry could've been a story all on its own.

    • @mz.jackson3760
      @mz.jackson3760 Місяць тому +2

      I was thinking the same thing. I immediately Googled Hatcher afterwards out of curiosity and was completely blown away by his story. Dude had already served six separate sentences for robbery, carjacking, and the rapes of two 16 yr old guys by the time he was only 23 years old! By pure luck, his sentences were always either commuted, suspended, or overturned due to some minor technicality despite the fact that he had never once raised any objections or requested an appeal or review (for these earlier convictions.) Then from the late 1960's through the early '80's, during which he committed his most heinous crimes including the kidnapping, torture, rape and murder of several toddlers and young children, he still somehow managed to convince luck to stay on his side, slipping through the cracks and playing the system in addition to THREE successful prison escapes (and another 3 almost successful escapes for which he was apprehended just hours latsr.)
      Sorry for the lengthy rant, but I'm just shocked beyond belief that this dude's story somehow seems to have evaded our detection. I still don't understand why some stories garner international publicity and loyal "fan" following for decades while others - some a million times more horrific - seem to get thrown to the curb with yesterday's news

    ❤❤❤That's awesome that you guys are going to donate money to help unsolved cases. Not knowing who took the life of the people you love is rough mentally and emotionally.
    I have had 3 people in my life that were unfortunately murdered, all 3 are unsolved. My friend's grandma answered the front door, the person asked to use their phone. When my friend walked to the door with the phone they shot them both killing them instantly. It's been 22 years.
    One of my other friends from childhood went to get cigarettes one day and never made it back home. It took 3 days with no help from the police before she was found shot. Still unsolved 3 years later.

    The found remains were that of Stobe the Hobo. It was speculated that he was struck and killed by a train , however there was not much evidence to support other wise.

    i worked nights as a cleaner at suny in albany in the downtown academic campus, we'd get weirdo's coming in when the doors were unlocked for events. i had to call cops for a young black guy that was hanging around a bunch of young females at one event, he went into the ladies room. they came & grabbed him up & took him, i saw them wrestling with him outside on the lawn. they come in & steal anything, food from the professors refrigerators, things out of their offices. the security guards weren't much better. we had a couple arrested for stealing from the offices. so many criminals everywhere you turn.

We have to think of the age she is and things that girls do at that age. It just proves anyone can claim to be mentally ill to get a lighter sentence which is ridiculous really

      That was decades ago. Try to break the law and claim you are mentally ill in the present. See how that works for you. It doesn't "prove" anything. You people just like to say whatever and think you sound smart or deep lmao

      Not anymore. Psychiatry has come a long way and the legal test for insanity is much stricter.

    No! No! No!
    You still put several short ads on this video! So this is gas lighting!
    You're trying to make us believe that there are fewer ads, when in reality there are more! It should be either/or. EITHER several short ones OR the longer ones, NOT BOTH. 😡😡

      As explained in the video, "drape" was a term for a "greaser," which might also been known as a "biker" or "rocker."

    • @WavyGravy1985
      @WavyGravy1985 Місяць тому +1

      That would be "drapes" your thinking of and not "Drape". Drapes are also known as curtains like you just said, but in this particular context and that particular time period of the early to mid 1950's, a "Drape" was slang for a greaser. Wikipedia has a whole article about this and how greaser of the era had different slang names depending on which region of the US they lived in.

    The world needs pole dancers too. 🤷‍♂️
    There seems to be no shortage of “free spirits” who want to do things their way.
