Videos are great, but they're even better with illustrations :) We're big fans of giving people multiple ways to lean things so they can find what clicks best for them and look at techniques from several different perspectives.
Hi, I’m very interested in learning the brick stitch pattern for the Cat and Chevron style as well as downloading the pattern downloads, I’m a beginner and can’t wait to learn all of these patterns.
Hi there, thanks for watching! Be sure to check out our page on brick stitch too, it's got more information on a lot of the projects we demonstrated in the class: beadaholique.com/blogs/techniques-guides/brick-stitch-bead-weaving-patterns
I'm just getting back into beading, and boy I'm glad I have the patience of an oyster. I have been using the 8 pound test fireline fishing line and it doesn't tangle any more than the wildfire or beading fireline.
I'm not surprised, the fishing version is still great stuff. The beading version of FireLine is identical to the original Berkley FireLine for fishing. Berkley still makes that version, but they also make several other varieties now, which can make shopping for it at a bait shop a bit of a hunt. Beadsmith started distributing the original version to make it easy for beaders to find the original version and, I think, to make sure Berkley kept that manufacturing line going.
@@mallorikerr4092 For sure. If the fishing version is giving you what you need at the right price then it's the better deal for you. People worry that there's some big difference between the two, but really there isn't. It's all about availability and variety.
I'm trying out a different line from Berkley to see how it holds up. As a mom with a 2 year old boy, I'm not going to lie and say he doesn't pull lol. He will be my tester for bracelets and necklaces
Hello, I live in Baltimore, Maryland. I make different necklace and earrings and bracelet sets. I am trying to master my brick stitch. Thanks for the tutorial.

Hi ladies. I'm not even half way into the video (19:35) and I've gotta comment before continuing. Kat, I love that bracelet you made! Are we by chance going to see a tutorial on that? I'll learn the stitch, just for that bracelet (or something similar)! 😊 Fingers crossed and now back to the video!
Hello From Alabama; i am learning beading and love the tutorials ; currently trying to learn increases and decreases for some angel earrings i want to make
I bought 2 types of fishing line to do beading only because the fishing line is very thin to be able to go through FeliCas a few times and because the test pounds is higher. I find that it does tangle easier. What is your opinion? Advice?
We tend to prefer the classic Miyuki delicas, the cylindrical shape makes them sit together more snuggly. They're a little easier to work with that way, and patterns read more sharply with smaller gaps between the beads.
I would like to enter for your giveaway or can you provide me info on were to buy a starter kit like the one you showed on video thanks i love the tutorial
Hi Jesus, our giveaways and classes are on hold for moment but we do have a page which lists all the tools and supplies which we featured in the class. This is a great way to see all our most popular starter tools: beadaholique.com/collections/brick-stitch-101-live-class-event?sort=best-selling

It depends on the project. If you're wondering about the halloween charms those use 22 gauge rings, which is a good choice for anything using our workhorse 11/0 beads. You can see the halloween charms here: beadaholique.com/products/set-of-halloween-charms
