Great to see the patience of Paul encouraging Landon. 10/10.
Hell yes. Teaching his boys just like grandpa Sherm did. That's what ya call learnt behaviour. Love your comment.
That's what makes America strong
@@andyweenink3746 love it. I'm down here in Australia and hope for the same here. Stay strong America.
Rat Rod Wrecker, impressed, but this was a true testament to Yankum ropes!
Awesome recovery, Grandpa Sherm's truck did it again. My wife and I stopped by the Rat Shack on Monday and bought merch. and saw the truck in person, it's a beast. We loved talking with Grandma Lolli, she's amazing, and lit up when she talked about Paul and the tow truck. We love the channel and the family interaction, keep up the great work.
I won’t lie! I don’t ever doubt Grandpa Sherm truck ( fab rats), Moore, etc but I was a little worried for Grandpa Sherm Truck a few time! It was sure putting in the work!
Landon was the star of this episode! Trying to keep that monster going as it was bogging down! Good job!
Agreed! And if he didn't stall it the first three times that would have been out twice as quick. (Teasing him) 😅
A father's trust in his son right there!
@@garrycoates2147 so true!
Landon rocked that recovery - dumping the clutch on a gasser and dumping the clutch on a diesel are two really different deals and he figured it out in record time. With everybody watching.
@@permaquilter9111 exactly! completely different clutches than he's probably ever seen and pressure to get used to in just a few tries fast!
That’s literally the most gentle I’ve ever seen Paul do anything 😂
10 minutes? Is hat all? Dude, I have my coffee and donut while watching your videos, today all I get is one sip?
Man those recovery ropes are strong. Landon is the MVP today. His star is shining bright.
Landon definitely is a chip off the old block, he’s always in the shop helping work on anything that’s going on, also the first one to volunteer for the dirty jobs, can definitely see Landon taking over the business one day. Cheers.
Nothing beats a kinetic recovery. I miss the good old days of MORR
Invaluable lessons between father and son!
That recovery was absolutely impressive!!
One word: WOW!! That was an impressive recovery. The old tow truck continues to surprise. You all do an amazing job doing these recoveries!!
Glad I was able to make it to Page for that car show. I'll be putting my trash sak and double shackle to good use here in Arizona. Thanks for your time and everything that goes into sharing things with the subscribers. Take care
Landon did an amazing job you are teaching him well
I just love Paul’s attitude…..he says “we’re going to get this out”. Just good hard working people. Love it
The best looking and now the best sounding off road wrecker on UA-cam.
When the video is only 10 minutes long, we know it isn't gonna fight too hard 😂
Kinda sad huh!! 😂
Good morning I am impressed because I had my doubts with as heavy as the truck was. The wrecker is a beast and got it out. You guys are the best at what you do
You should invest in stability mats and two small heavy duty air jacks! Then you could lift ,fill the hole, and place a couple planks under the wheels and roll it nice & easy! My truck is longer than yours, when I built it I made as many compartments as possible the top of my deck opens up with a ton of stuff hidden in it! It's a 1986 Dodge 1ton 4x4 with a live second axle now 6x6, I narrowed the entire truck from 93.5 inches to 74 inches wide so I could service the Jeep trails!
sounds like a awesome rig 🤙🏼
Why would he do any of that when he bumped it a couples times and it came out? That’s way more work than what’s necessary. It would’ve come out the second hit if Landon didn’t kill it.
@@smcox1991I'm with you on the second effort but I think the problem wasn't Landon on that second effort. He had enough gas it seemed if the front wheels had not piled up the sand like it did at about 7:00 into the video. By that time the front wheels were now having to try to either push through or climb sand that had built up behind them, unlike the first two trys where the sand wasn't in the way of the front wheels. Father and Son adjusted nicely.
This was an amazing recovery, not only for the most capable equipment, but also the crew. It's great to see family and friends work together.
Very impressive, however not surprised. Paul Cox has the talent and the crew ❤
WHAT A BEAST THAT WRECKER IS!!!!!
Tow truck was Pulling Hard! That supercharger earned its keep today!! Can't argue with the traction those tires are getting either!
Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
5:50 Landon did not have the eaton road ranger gearbox in low range, its the white lever switch on the front of the gear knob you can't be in high range and try and use reverse it's not going to work. Learn clutch control you have to give revs when releasing the clutch!!
this. so much this. that poor clutch....
all he had to do was look at the roadranger decal in the cab, it's in every single truck ever fitted with one.
Hunter holding out his hand at the end was a good laugh. And I love having Ben (mtdew) on! Would love to see Brother Ben for a visit!!!
Ben & Ben 😂
Nice driving Lan! That’s a lotta weight and coordination with the feet and your old man pulling.
Well done!
Would have gotten it on the first and subsequent bumps but kept stalling. But Landon figured it out. No stall, some gas and a faster runout on firmer ground. Teaching skills with calm and patience.
WOW , that wrecker is major beast ! When I saw how that was buried , I thought well Paul you might need more help ! But old wrecker just showed us what a beast it can be ! Thank you Paul and crew for the adventure , very impressive and awesome recovery !
Might have been a short vid but it was a good one. Absolutely impressive. I can only imagine the guy at the gate in shock when they rolled a little while after they rolled in. Great work on both Grampa's truck and the recovery.
Nice! Kinetic ropes are pretty amazing. I thought you'd be winching it.
The pulling area being compact was clutch
"Well all be dipped". You got her out! Congratulations!
The family teams on Automotive UA-cam are fantastic. They keep me going, even though their merch is phenomenally expensive here in Oz I still buy it and eat a bit less.
Got her out "the fuel make it happeners"
@@professornuke7562 Awesome family and friends. I'll bet you if we ever met you and I would be good friends. I love hunting. Shooting guns. And my Dodge RAM pickup truck with its Cummins. I'm a Dodge Chevy Guy. I have a 76 CJ 5, a 68 Camaro, and a 70 Chevy truck 4x4. Love your channel and The people who are in your circles you run in. They are all great people.
Your video brought a flashback to the late 1950's . We lived in a rural area of New York State.
An oil truck passed by our house and asked directions from my brother and I. We were10 and 12 years old and were very familiar with the terrain and short cuts. The road he was looking for was about a mile away accessing via an old farm road, otherwise it was about 5 miles on paved roads. We suggested the old farm road. We told him once he made it past the old gravel bank he had it made. He made it past the gravel bank to a straight away under high tension power lines. Unfortunately we forgot to factor in the spring thaw. The truck sank up to its axles. We told him we would get a couple of shovels to help dig him out. He told us not to bother and to clear out. A few hours later two large wreckers managed to extract him from the mud.
Super impressive!! That truck is sick an amazing build. You should be super proud 😎👍
Watching this poor kid try and learn how to work a manual transmission is so painful to watch, but like a car crash, I just can’t look away 😂
That wrecker sir, is an serious animal! Very impressive
Paul I can't say it enough that thing is a beast your dad would be very proud of what that truck has been made into
Great job Lando, you 2 got this recovery thing down! That's the part that sucks when your good at something, its over quick.
With team work and Chevy power, anything is possible!!! NICE WORK!!
I have said it a thousand times... and I will say it a thousand more times! THAT TRUCK IS FREAKIN AWESOME!!! My dad had an 84 K20 that we took everywhere. I have an 84 K30... I wish that I could share pictures with y'all.
Awesome recovery. It is always better to be over prepared than under prepared. Thank you for sharing.😊
That wrecker is one helluva bit of kit to shift that like that. Very impressive!
Great training and communication between father and son! nothing like "applied experience".
Ole Landon reminds me more and more like his daddy. Paul, way to be a role model!!!!!
Nice job and thanks for taking us along. The old folding military shovels are great for digging under axles ect. and take no room up to store. Can be locked at a 90 and used as a hoe to dig under too.
Getting harder to find them
Great Father and son teamwork! Good job Lance!
All it needed was some super charged ls power hooked up to it and a heavy foot from paul 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Absolutely amazing! Excellent teamwork and communication. Thats a lot of power the truck makes!!
Hunter: Want me to pull you out by your feet? "
Paul: "No! I'll fill up with sand! " 😂😂😂
The rat rod tow truck rose to the occasion as always!!!!!
Gotta love those Fab Rats!
Giving it a tug first is sound advice before problem solving. Helps with clarity and focus.
I love the VGC garage snippet!! I love Derrick
Wow now that was impressive. I thought you had zero chance until it bumped pretty good the first time. Since the motor change with the supercharger, she is just about unstoppable. Nicely done FabRats!!!!
Okay. I am damn impressed. Good job Lando. Good job Fab Rats team.
Hello Fab Rats Crew,
I just wanted to say thank you for posting videos. I aspire to be like you and your crew with the productive family dynamic, that is diverse and capable of doing anything they put their minds to. Keep it up!
It’s always nice when you prepare for the worst but it it ends up being the best case scenario.
Well done guys you certainly out your rig to the ultimate test today, Paul....well done on staying so calm with the lad in the tanker truck, great vid for dads who can't stay calm
Super job, Landon! They couldn't have done it without you.
Good seeing you Michelle
Impressive! That is a LOT of weight! Your recovery rope is a force multiplier.
I knew it would pull it out with the yankem after you guys pulled out that loaded grain truck last year.💯🤙
Good job guys, she’s gonna be rowdy
That wrecker is really impressive. You are up there with Trail Mater!
That blower whine will never get old!
That's a big smiles all around kind of success! So fun to see your family get to work together.
The excitement of a challenge is great to watch.
I hope you have the best life you can have and thank you for being so thoughtful and a blessing to the world. You are a great guy to fallow .
I LOVE THEM ROPES!! I'm glad i have one and works like a charm.
Great Job by all involved. The tow truck is a Beast!!!!!!!!!!!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I love the tow truck. The Mickey’s make it look so mean too.
Bro you and the crew are the best channel on the tube. Honest work, good times with family an friends. The Cajun thanks you guys for your channel.
We live in UT we keep thinking we will eventually see you somewhere. Maybe need recovered sometime , huge fans ! The Wrecker is one of the best that was impressive. The Yankem ropes changed the game. The FJ is a Beast as well its amazed me a few times.
The tow truck is a beast! Great job crew !
It's better to have more equipment than you need and not use it, than to not have it and need it! Awesome job!
Love me a fab rats video I think Paul and Shawn with Landon and hunter is the perfect thing ... new generation hanging out and learning from an older generation...this country is really missing out on that
Full Hulk mode on the Tow truck! Awesome!!
Best part was the hand being and giggling. 😊. Nice yankam action.
Great job Landon !
Looked tough but when the going gets tough...the tough get going.
That truck is one hell of a of a tow truck never quits just going what ever you hook it to
Awesome Jobs!!! That Square Body With Those Big MT’s On Looks And Works Amazing!!! And The Whipple Is A The Cherry On Top!!!
Wow, that sucker was heavy! Nicely done!
This is great evidence on how great the Yankum Kinetic ropes really are!
Paul you have to make a SHIRT, Father and Son Recuse Sherm's Tanker. I would definitely want one. Godspeed Fabrats🇺🇲⚒️🇺🇲
Awesome job Landon! Great communication Paul.👍🏼🤙🏼💪🏼
I'm surprised the FD wasn't there to make sure nothing was going to make it explode. That's a lot of boom juice. Nice job. Made it look easy
I'm really late to the comments, but I'm new here from Grind Hard and I'm seeing what you're all about.. I can sure understand why Ethan reached out to you all when he got himself in deep. Really impressed with what you do, I'm a new fan.
WOW... Grampa Sherm is indeed a MONSTER!🤩
Good work. Landon did good figuring that out pretty quick
Kinetic ropes with a strong motor behind them is an impressive combination!
Another entertaining video. And I just got my new Fab Rats trucker hat. This is by far, my favorite channel on UA-cam. I would love to come to Utah and meet everyone, and see the shop. Paul's shop is what I dream I had. Keep up the great content.
Oh ye of little faith the Rat rod tow truck never fails to amaze not only us viewers but even the Fab Rats Team! Good job! Michelle brought good luck by coming along!
The sounds that wrecker makes when it's pulling like that bring a tear to my eye.
Fabrats there's Nothing that you can't do !!!!!!
You ❤️ got this Paul❤
Tell the customer you got him out and your keeping the fuel 😁
The mighty rat rod wrecker that could!! Nice recovery!!
The tow truck is a beast!
I figured you were going to at least 4 part that thing with the winch to get it to move. Way to go yankum and a learning experience for Landon.
Love you guys❤. That wrecker is built tough. Solid rig. Learnt behaviour Paul. Dont ever change mate.
Hunters dad. Being funny, "the B team is up ahead of us"
With enough pulleys (4) and a 12k winch you can move mountains.
As long as the mountain is under 60K#
2 With Yankum rings
Landon for the win, once he got a feel for the drivetrain, which wasn't long.
Throw caution to the wind; Just needed more power & a clutch pop
