Judgement is part of living. You judge who are going to be friends with. You judge what’s important. And inevitably you judge what’s right. That leads to laws and what you will accept. Laws lead to police, judges and jails. That’s the nature of civilization and humanity.
So while people can say they don’t judge, even as they sit there obviously judging…
I don’t know why, but people that say they don’t judge bothers me as much as people that judge everything.

Modern men and women are the products of their environment every bit as much as 100 years ago.
What is indisputable is that modern society has created an environment that is hostile to family and community and is actively anti-human. It's creating mental illness, drug addiction and few children. We live in a society in decline headed towards collapse. If that sounds a little extreme, it probably is... lol. Everything is eventually true. Probably within 10 years, imo.
I do judge hookup culture and those that partake in it. I do judge abortion and those that partake in it.
The best way to combat it is to be open of your criticism, don't be a hypocrite and do them when no one is looking and live what you believe. Live a life of discipline, beauty and meaning as best you can achieve. Be an example to be modeled.
I think it lies in some people acting as if their personal judgement deserves to have any influence over the way other people live their life. Judging is fine, just dont act self righteous about it.
@@callanc3925 Of course they do and should influence the way other people live their lives. What are laws, but exactly that? Most of society operates on values enforced by moral judgement.
If you want to argue about where the lines should be drawn, that's a conversation worth having. Individual rights as the bulwark against the tendency to collective conformity are important.
But this is exactly what I'm talking about. I find the modern belief that it's "bad" to have standards and expectations of the people around you is nonsense. And even worse is the pretense that you don't.
@@jamespeterson3868 Your confusing a personal judgement with a communal judgement. If most people think that we shouldnt be able to drive over 20mph near a school, then yes that judgement should be influencing how people behave. However, if you think we should only be driving 10mph near a school, that judgement shouldnt be influencing other people because its just your personal judgement. There is no measured agreement or consensus on it.
My only point is that your personal judgements are just opinions. They dont deserve to have any weight over other people until the society you live in has collectively agreed that its an appropriate judgement to use to control other people.

Shulz is over the top. But he's such a great example of how funny things you don't agree with can be. I rarely line up with his logic on topics and issues, but he's hands down one of the funniest comedians I've ever seen in my life. Especially when he's improvising doing crowd work. If you're gonna get out of your comfort zone, this is the dude to do it with.

If someone hasnt heard it then yeah of course its funny, but I've heard it so many times and for so long that i have a hard time believing that lots of people have never heard it. Yes. Protesters should never be rude to these women. And he shouldn’t have his daughter. But I think what Andrew would say is that it’s definitely not the worst thing someone is doing to their child that day. 😅
We see it from a different angle. We had a governor here that said when he performed abortions he did so up until the mother said she wanted it, meaning after birth. If the mother didn’t want it they starved it to death. It’s easy to say he’s the only one who can judge us. That goes the same with every crime and every murder and every sin, but for societal norms, lines are drawn. One can argue the merits of when someone becomes a life but I would hope pro abortion people draw a line at minimum when the mother goes into labor in her 9th month. In some states now the doctors can stop the birth of a healthy baby by keeping its head from coming out and sucking its brains out.
I changed my opinion on abortion when I heard the heartbeat at 7 weeks. I did enjoy this bit because in his way he threw shots at both sides.

God defiinitely wants us to speak up for the weak and powerless (i.e. unborn). We are called to judge righteously, and we all judge every day. To say you can't judge would mean that you couldn't have an opinion about anything anybody does, or be able to tell them they're going down the wrong path. And the main abortion clinic (PP) has increased their abortions while decreasing their other services by a large margin over the last 20 years (abortions up 80%, prenatal services down 43%). It's okay to call evil what it is.
