The more natural look with no terraforming is a breath of fresh air when all you see now is crazy difficult designs that make you feel like your island isn't good enough. Love this series! Thank you Ryan!

Digging the new location for the museum! At first my museum area was huge too, and slowly its gotten smaller and smaller as I find myself needing space for other things 👌 love the aquarium area. I try to add to it often, it's my fave

I’ve not moved my museum since I started last year.. it’s kind of behind the main plaza and behind it is a little hidden vending machine area.
I hate the size of the museum too, I haven’t moved it bc I can’t figure out where else to put it haha

for the back of the museum, I put 2 halfs of the upper portion of the brontosaurus so they face eachother and you can see them behind the museum. If you are going to put it on that lower flat. I think it made it up really nicely where the red trees were and the bench

Also, it's truly a breath of fresh air to see people do a minimum of terraforming because I myself want to stay away from that as much as possible for lack of creativity and not wanting to spend hours on something I might regret doing (been there, done that). I give myself the option to change rivers and cliffside for the purpose of placing down a bridge or incline, but that's basically it. I enjoy the game better when there's no pressure to make mine look like other content creators, but I can still admire their work and take some inspiration here and there.
Your no terraforming island really inspires me to not go crazy with my island! I've kind of kept my island's natural formations because I'd been decorating like that since I started playing and didn't want to move a bunch of things! Love these videos!
idea for your ex-museum area: maybe you could turn that place into a seasonal area. rn winter is coming for you so you could create an ice-skating rink with other wintery decor around. it could be a useful space for seasonal items you dont use around your island
