I switched to the mystic bridge vapor kit. It's the same size as the vuse but the tank is refillable. since Walgreens quit carrying it, I just order the replacement tanks online when I need one.
I'm trying to refill one now. It isn't working. What kind of mouth piece did you find that snaps on there? I find it hard to believe that little surface mount IC in the cartridge has enough memory and IQ to count puffs, but it seems that way now. I'll keep trying. Let me know if you have found any more info.
Jory Blagden take a look at any of the boards that go into some of the advanced PVs out there, you'll notice that the unite on the board that gives you the ability to set a puff counter is only 1mm-1.5mm big if not smaller.
Tech Nician Ya, I see the micro-controller. I was hoping it sensed the impedance of the element. Once the element gets dry and starts to burn, it turns off. Not how it works apparently. I even tried adding juice gradually to a new cartridge. It eventually shuts off. It may appear to work at first, but it is a fail. If it weren't so dang small, it's probably possible to re-flash the chip, but I doubt many can do it. ;) I haven't got deep enough to figure out what chip it actually is yet and how to re-program it...and probably won't. I should probably just quit totally and save that money. It is still cheaper than smoking regular cigs which I quit last Nov. Time to quit all together.

Buy a "mark 10" e cig its just like vuse but lacks a chip I've been using and refilling mine for about a month now.
I am refilling the charge of my vuse it marks white but wen I try to puff the white light flashes and no smoke come out can somebody tell me wat the problem is???

Has anyone had the problem of the cartridges wearing out just after a few hours? I'm on a fixed income and this happens constantly. At $3.00 each, I'm throwing away good money after bad. The white light doesn't blink when it happens The cartridge is simply empty. Furthermore, if I take a couple of puffs with my lips pursed and tight around the cartridge, I get a burning sensation on my lips, and the cartridge is hot to the touch.
hificat101 you spoke too soon, anyone can add liquid to these that part is easy. Your cartridge will stop working after a certain amount of puffs that is what everyone is talking about. It will then become useless no matter how much juice you add. You really should of tested this longer before claiming success. In order to truly re-use someone needs to come up with a way to reset the chip. I've tried using magnetism, electricity, all kinds of ways to try and reset the chip I'm convinced the only way to bypass this will include an electronic means to reprogram or reset the chip inside.
neophytex2001 that being said, I have found one that works no prob its called the "mark 10" they sell refills but they do not have a chip so u can re-use these by just popping the top off and adding more juice. Ive been refilled mine about 20 times so far and still working great.. try those guys. Vuse is too hard as it has that darn chip.

I think the trick is gonna be to hack the *battery* side, so it bypasses the computer/data pin all together... Then you'd have just a regular reed-switch hooking the cartridge-coils straight to the battery.

AND they're putting a lot of money into lobbying against "open-system" vapes. If their lobbyists win, they'll have a stranglehold on the market, AND with the technology in these cartridges, they'll be able to sell longer or shorter cartridges without anyone ever knowing.
Michael Dukes I refill my first ecig cartridges and blow huge vapor, and can use a eGo battery with them...they work great, but tried on the vuse and never got it to work the lights keep flashing. Maybe the trick is to refill the vuse before it runs out?
This is bullshit, because there is a monitoring chip, and when it times out that's it, the coils will not heat, i tried it day 1 a year ago, and they make them this way on purpose, want a trick? OK buy a mod with a refillable tank, there's your trick.

After all, it's big tobacco we're talking about here. Stay away from this abomination, markten(phillip morris), and any geencig(RJRenolds) products. People that are looking to getting into vaping need to do just that and get into vaping, not ecigs. I would recommend a VV ego kit or an eleaf istick as a good starter PV.

The title is very misleading. It's saying on how to refill (meaning once it's empty) a vuse cartridge when in fact it can't be done.

Chromedome 2020 Buy a mark 10 e cig, no chip so u can refill them.. just like a vuse but slightly smaller I been using for over a month
