The light. Oh my God, the light on the morning when the view wasn't up to par. Man, that WAS the view. Love your dogs. Love your relationship with them. Love watching your life in the real outside.
ahhh, sweet peaceful times: a warm fire, good food cooked outdoors, loving dogs and a glass of comfort. Doesn't get any better. Wish I were there right now.
Thank-you for allowing your viewers to "participate" in your get-a-ways. It's the beginning of "monsoon" season here on the westside. Your music befits the beauty of the scenery. I'm fed up with outdoor/hunting videos, etc. where the music is loud rock and roll that has no connection with the outdoors they are portraying--might as well be in a warehouse concert. Anyway, again Thank-you for the beauty, serenity, professional photography and a temporary escape for those of us who truly need it.
Steve, I am glad you chose to participate, and I also glad you like the music scheme that I have chosen for my channel. Thank you so much for watching. Jason
I realy like your basic/outdoor way of camping. I like it better than those “ glamping “ Camping guys with cocktail bars in their cars and what not. Good work Jason!
Honestly? That actually lowered my heart rate. So relaxing to watch, and exceptional filming by the way, you have a good eye. I liked the stillness and calm in your filming. Thank you for sharing. It was beautiful. Loved it 🖖 Lovely music. Who was that playing?
Jason, thank you for your time in sharing this breathtaking scenery....The photo: Sometimes it’s the “little things” photographed that speak volumes!! The background music always very relaxing to listen to while watching your videos, a pleasantry after a long days work. Drone views always beautiful. Enjoy your adventures of 2018!!
I have really been enjoying your channel. I'm saving up for a truck so that we can get out in nature like this. Just beautiful, thanks for making these videos.
Beautiful spot. I envy you your wide open spaces. Here in Pennsylvania, we have mountain roads but you really can't drive off the road like that. What's more, there are people pretty much everywhere. You can think you're alone, but you're never really away from everything and everyone. Must be nice to be in a less populated area.
I have watched a number of your videos including some of the older ones. You have really developed your craft and become quite a videographer/photographer. Very enjoyable to watch!
I stumbled onto this video while searching for jeep/truck overland camping and I must say by far one of the best videos and series . Keep up the great work and thanks because your helping me figure the route for me .
I'm envious of other states and their weather patterns. Here in Arizona we only have two seasons hot and a little less hot. Don't get me wrong I love the winter here but it would be nice to ware a jacket now and then ;-)
As usual,... I love your video! Even though the weather wasn't quite up to par with your expectations. The views are phenominal! Always remember,... A bad day out in the field is better than a good day at work! : ) Thank You once again for bringing us along!
Absolutely, it was great time and the weather was amazing the next day, the fog made me have to think outside of the box and I was very happy with the photo I got. Jason
Thanks, Dave its a fun area with tons of locations to explore, I headed into the Ochoco's today see if I can get out of some of this wind. I am glad you like the new intro :) Jason
Really enjoyed that video, awesome scenery! Such a offroad-rig gives you much more reach and freedom for adventures. Great edited video too! Thanks for taking us along
Love you videos. For me they bring back fond memories of trips to the States and visits to central Oregon. Usually around the Bend area. Thank you for sharing.
I love your videos and you inspire me to get out and photograph more. My truck rails arrive this Friday and RTT hopefully following Friday. Hopeful to get an overnighter a week Saturday here in BC to begin living a life that resembles yours a bit more. Thanks for sharing and producing such great content.
Since I am a fairly new subscriber I have been binge watching a lot of your videos and I have to say something that I am sure a majority, if not all, of your subscribers would agree with...Pendelton should definately sponsor your channel...lol. Your videos are awesome to watch and very inspiring.
You found a beautiful spot out there Jason. It looks like you and your pups had a great time out there with nature. Your talent with the camera is always impressive and appreciated my friend, thanks for taking it with you and sharing your adventure with us.
Enjoyed your video. Thanks for continuing to post! I'm local ish and enjoy vicariously camping through your videos haha! Quick editor's tip to remove or drastically reduce the flickering light that occurs when there is a frame sync issue with the frequency of the light! This might do the trick for clips like the pan inside the tent on this video. Copy the problem clip and place it in a new video track above the original clip. Offset that clip by 1 frame right or left and adjust it's opacity until you get the most removal possible using this method. All that suffers is a little sharpness because if the staggered video. Much less noticeable than the flickering though for sure!
Kieth I am glad you like the videos, thank you for the tip. I have a LED light that is specifically for photography and video that I will be using for those shots from now on, it doesn't flicker. I wasn't paying close enough attention and did not realize the LED Camp light I was using was creating that flicker. I will keep your tip in the back of mind just in case something like this happens again though, could get me out of pickle. Jason
Thank you, for watching. Be prepared for a lot of hard work these channel take a lot of work to make them successful, I have been at it over 4 years and I am still not where I want to be. Jason
This must be the tent and truck set up you mentioned in the IG post I commented on. I like it! I know you've changed this set up a bit, now today...but it looks like it worked out great.
Alright! Definitely worth the wait. I think you have your camp set up very fine tuned and working great. Beautiful editing and arranging. Is that a Lester River wool pullover shirt you were wearing? The awning is a really cool addition, very convenient. Thanks for another great vid.
Thank you Andrew. The truck setup is coming along and working pretty good for me. I made my pullover but I did pattern it after the Lester River. The awning really has made a big difference and super convenient. Jason
Jason, another excellent job! Videography was excellent! (Used excellent twice) Without giving away any secrets, how do you do the drone shots when it looks like your not controlling a drone? Love the outdoors!
Thanks, John I really appreciate it. I use the intelligent flight modes that DJI offers, you can program the drone to do a few different movements and then go about your business. Jason
I love the fact that you have a full size truck equipped with a standard transmission. Also, what motor do you have in your truck, and Do you have a video about your dogs?

Beautiful location and another great example of human enjoyment without the need for technological entertainment! Semper Fi!
I really enjoyed that location, its surprising how entertaining a campfire can be.

Love the way you make the most out of every trip, no matter what you’re dealt.
Very beautiful and peaceful. I need to get out more!
Always a fresh perspective on the human condition I call "The humble simplicity of life" TY.
Joel, I am glad you enjoyed it, life does feel a lot more simple when I am out there.
Jason

Thanks. Great photos.
Your welcome, thank you for watching.
Jason
So inspiring.
Thank you.
Your welcome thank you for watching.
Jason
Incredible spot. Heartwarming watching you bond with your pups.
I really did like that spot, it was great find.
Jason
It was this vid, that was a turning point for my wife, to see the side awning, easy, compact, and keep you out of the direct elements
The awning is very handy, its easy to setup and will give you space out of the rain quickly with out a lot of messing around with tarps.
Jason
Like all the weather changes!
There is a saying around here if you don't like the weather wait 15 minutes and that sure held true for this trip.
Jason
Peaceful 👍👍🇺🇸
Thank you.
Jason
Like your music with your videos, really makes you feel like your there. I can even smell the bacon! :)
Thank you, Greg some of it I got off the internet but some is from a friend of mine.
Jason

Your videos are outstanding and your eye for scenery is really good. You eat will too! Take care, Al
Thank, Al, the scenery, food and whisky are what make camping so enjoyable to me.
Jason
So relaxing to watch your videos.
Your dogs look so content too being out camping.
They are usually fairly content doing whatever as long as I am there, they are great dogs and love having them with me.

I'm envious of other states and their weather patterns. Here in Arizona we only have two seasons hot and a little less hot. Don't get me wrong I love the winter here but it would be nice to ware a jacket now and then ;-)
Haha, maybe I need to come visit you this winter. I enjoy the season here and love the fact that we can have campfires again.
Jason
Love the camp fire cooking! Great video again.
Must be nice to fun a quiet place.
I really enjoy your videos man. Your filming and editing skills are on point. Earned a subscriber.

Thank you DB, that is always my hope.
Jason
Looks like a great time! I'm always hungry after watching you eat those camp meals!
I have to say that is a good one to :) thank you so much for watching.
Jason
I really like the ending still shots. Some very nice photographs. Think I am picking up one off those ARB awnings tomorrow
The awning is very useful I really like how quickly I can setup a shelter outside the tent and I am not trying to tie a tarp off to trees.
Jason
Thanks for the trip man....really like your work....makes me feel like I was right there with you...
Awesome, that is always my goal to be able have people feel that they are right there in the moment. Thank you so much for watching
Jason
Really enjoyed that video, awesome scenery! Such a offroad-rig gives you much more reach and freedom for adventures. Great edited video too! Thanks for taking us along
I am glad you enjoyed it. Other than the CVT the ford pretty stock but it pretty well at getting me to some nice locations.
Jason
Love you videos. For me they bring back fond memories of trips to the States and visits to central Oregon. Usually around the Bend area. Thank you for sharing.
I am really glad your enjoying them. Central Oregon has a lot to offer in the way of outdoor recreation.

Jason
Jason, your videos are fantastic. Can you shoot a video regarding what you pack such as gear and essentials on your camping trips.
Thank you and yest I will work on video like that, thank you for the suggestion.
Jason
Enjoyed your video. Thanks for continuing to post! I'm local ish and enjoy vicariously camping through your videos haha!

Nice work man. looks like fun
love your videos man keep them up
Excellent vid, thanks for sharing.
Your welcome, thank you for watching.

Knocked it out of the park again. great video.
Thank you
Jason
Ha Ha, I see the dogs cleaned up the pan.
They are the best dish washers :)
Jason
This must be the tent and truck set up you mentioned in the IG post I commented on. I like it! I know you've changed this set up a bit, now today...but it looks like it worked out great.
Awesome video Jason. Really enjoy your movies!!! Andy
Thanks Andy I am really glad your enjoying them.
Jason

Awesome content! Really glad I just found your channel. Looking forward to your other videos. Earned a subscriber, and a notification squad fan!
Thanks you Trent I am glad your finding some enjoyment in my videos, and thanks for the support I really appreciate it.

Amazing stuff, watched before I went to bed :)

another good vid, thanks for sharing
Thanks Dave.
Jason
I love the fact that you have a full size truck equipped with a standard transmission. Also, what motor do you have in your truck, and Do you have a video about your dogs?
I love standard transmissions, it has the 5.4 liter which to be honest is bit under powered for a 3/4 ton truck, but it gets me around. I don't have a video specifically on the dogs, but they are typically always with me.
Jason
Pretty awesome
Thank You
Jason
I've driven in for thick like that. I'd rather spend that kinda morning lime you did but trucking doesn't usually come with those luxuries.
have you ever been in the Ozarks? I'm sure you'd like it there
It was a great morning I couldn't believe what a beautiful day it turned out to be. Never been to the Ozarks.
Jason
Great video.
I have a 99 Ford F-250, 7.3 6 speed (looks just like yours). I plan to mount the Mt. Rainer to the bed as you do. My question is, what mounting system or mechanism do you have to mount to the tent? This is the last piece of the puzzle before I make the purchase.
Keep up the great content.
Awesome video Jason. Thank you. Do you have any plan to modify your truck for more off-roading type stuff?
I don't know, the truck does for the most part everything I want it to, plus its getting a little long in the tooth so I am not sure how much money I want to dump into it.
Jason
Excellent...A relaxing video...Outside...and a small question...If I could ask what photography gear you are using..
As far just the photography I mainly use my Nikon D750 and a Tamron 24-70mm F2.8 lens.
Jason
I also shoot with a Nikon, and for my landscapes I use a Sigma 10x20 super wide....not an expensive lens, but gives great shots.....The 750 is a great camera, and your shots are darn good.
Great video! Solid truck you got, plans to upgrade for rougher terrain?
I would love to upgrade but I afraid my finances are not on par with what I would like to do. The old ford gets around pretty good though.
Jason
I've often said that kids and dogs will tell you all you need to know about a person. Your dogs say you're a pretty decent human being.
Be glad you aren't down here with 62 grassland/forest fires, Santa Ana high desert hot winds, and 60+ miles of smoke and lung congestion.

Jason
John Lord , we had are own smoke problems here in oregon home of the libtards, all summer
Nice editing
Thanks, John.
Love your videos! By the way what is the sweatshirt you're wearing? Thanks
Can not afford to give money away to you or my other favorite vlogers. I do the next best thing and subscribe, like and comment, Jim
No worries Jim commenting and liking goes a long way.
Jason
Wuuut??? Wow.. that truck went off road without Rancho shocks and no Crawl contro 4x4l??? Omg..how ??
How do you get your pups in and out of the tent on the roof? You have a nice touch on your productions.
This should answer your question. ua-cam.com/video/jviCYHd_3dc/v-deo.html
Jason
When are you going to bust out the Kodiak tent Jason?
I don't use the Kodiak tent unless I plan to spend multiple days in one location, great tent though, just not really conducive to my typical run and gun trips.
Jason
A man, his truck, dogs and some whiskey, when are you gonna break out your guitar and play us some tunes???
Haha, I will have to bring someone to play the guitar, but it is actually in the plans.
Jason
How much of a problem is condensation from running the MrHeater in the tent?
I am glad you asked Jeff I recorded a video that I will be posting later this week specifically on that subject. So if you don't mind waiting I think it will answer your questions.
Jason
How do you do the flyover drone shot where you’re in you without a remote control?
I use the DJI intelligent flight modes for those shots
Jason
What’s an ECS?
your handheld cam is very shakey almost to the point i cant watch
I wish I could just live in nature and not deal with humans....
Haha, me to, at least most of the time.
Jason
