Lighting is one of my favorites parts of this job. A landscape can look so much better at night when it has the proper lighting.
In this video I'll show you how to install lights for your walkway.
This lights can also be use for deck lighting, patios, stairs, yard, wood floor.

Nice. You could also paint the bottom part of the light black or gray so light doesn’t pass through.

great video, what gauge wire did you use? and is it connected to a transformer??
I always use 12/2 outdoor landscape lighting wire. Yes landscape lights always need a transformer. I added them to the rest of the lights on a 200w transformer

Where did you get the stones for the walkway?
You csn find them at a building or landscape supply store
Mine lasted 2 months… hope it last way longer

I'm assuming no issues because they have never called my back for any repairs
How do you change a burned light bulb?
They are led so the entire part needs to be replaced. Pretty easy to just pullout the light and rewire a new one. Thats why when i installed them i left enough wire to pull them back out.

Maybe it's my OCD but, I would put lights on other side of steps as well. 1 side just messes with me. Lol
Yea thought about that but both me and my client didn't want it to look like an airport strip
What happens when you aerate your lawn
Normally you dont aerate that close to a walkway and if you do the pvc pipe will protect the wires
where did you get thay drainage metal cover? can you send me link?
Homedepot.... lowes... and most irrigation/hardware stores will have them. Depending where you live they may need to special order as they might not have them in stock

Would never recommend solar Not as bright, not as reliable, not last all night or cannot turn on and off whenever wanted.
I love this light but I dont like the fact they are firing upward and it has two big problem. 1. It cause glair and you cant see the ground clearly and 2. Pointing towards the sky it cause light pollution.. Unless you install them on the ceiling and firing downward I dont see any use of it.
You would think that but with the frosted glass it eliminates your 1 & 2 problems. Has a nice glow but does not blind you are cause to much light.
