Hi, born and raised in NY, I lived in Nassau LI, and Suffolk County, the last 4 yrs in NY I loved in Port Jeff, alot of businesses were not there when I left in 82, I worked at Grandma's on Main, which is no longer there, I was young and new to the town when I got there in 79, beautiful town! we would hang out at the cove and watch sailboats come in! I was out of work living with my Mom, and didn't get to really enjoy it, that mall was just built when I left, I definitely have a few stories to tell about that town tho, some scary events! Thx for the tour brings back some good memories!❤
I now realize how little of Port Jefferson I actually saw. I came by the LIRR, and walked downhill to the village. It's absolutely beautiful. I will make it a full day's visit, next time. Thanks again, for sharing.
I’m so happy you enjoyed it Blondie! Yes it’s an incredible area to visit, there’s some really cool places in LI and hope to show you more in future episodes
Ehh, not a great stream, too many people and too many cameras. Urbanist does it the best when he is alone or maybe with max 4 people such as the collab with AK, WalkRideFly and NYC Walking Show.
Disappointing. You do better when you go it alone. I have lived 15 min from P.J. for 45 years. It has much to offer. I would have appreciated less food and more history. What about East Main Street.

Awesome look into Port Jefferson. It's been a few years since I last stopped by. Hope to visit in the Summer of 2022! Thanks for sharing.

I was born in Huntington and grew up going to Port Jeff in the summer! It's wonderful. You should also check out Sea Cliff!
So happy you enjoyed this episode! Port Jeff must have been a wonderful place to grow up :) will check out Sea Cliff!
Yes, you need to check out Sea Cliff. Lived there many years ago.
Cool vid. I come here every now and then. Gets pretty happening on weekend nights. Overpriced seafood though, be warned! Lobster is in short supply.
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! And yes Port Jeff is much more lively at night and weekends
This was a very entertaining stream Ariel. 👍 ☀
NO, it's NOT LAWNG ISLAND! For those of us who grew up on LI and didn't come from the city, it is and always has been Long Island with a soft "g."
TopStream 👍

these people really gonna go to danford's and waste that delicious food.. crazy.
Your guild doesn't sound like a Navtive New Yorker, she has no accent! plus she wasn't even born yet when I lived in that town.
