I have completed this model recently and it took approx. 145 hours work in total. The biggest challenge was the ultra thick decals (they really were a nightmare...) and metalised parts which causes issues with adhesion and painting. Overall though, a nice kit that went together quite well (just watch the side skirts, - they have totally wrong location points).
Hope you like the results and thanks for watching!
Beautiful work man, she's a beauty, those were the days
Alfa romeo engine? Isn't it?
Yes! BT 44B ; BT 46 is quite iconic shape, Also the another six wheeled Tyrrell F1.
Great work on an interesting car - but I had to go mute with that drone of the molecules soundtrack. Cheers.
Did not even know this kit existed! Built the Tamiya (non-fan) version. I may have to try and acquire one. Nice job by the way. Even got the bin lid!
Me too - looks like a dandy.
Nice build and what a strange car with the big cooling fan at the back!
Russell Farquhar
Well the 'cooling' function was the official excuse but really was to give extra downforce & grip! 😉
Russell, you should also watch my other vid on this model, which explains the background to this car:
