GRASSMEN - CAT Challenger Meets the Dyno

We decided over the cold, wet winter months we should get a dyno out and test our own machines as well as a variety of others.
All of these machines feature in either a DVD of ours, or on our online streaming service 'GRASSMENTV'

ye should compare the fendt 720 ,John deere 6155 R , massey 7718 , New holland t7 200 all saying there 200 see which one is best ,they would be the most popular horse power

you do realize these are PTO values and not engine,right? The PTO box on that tractor has a ratio of 1.98:1. So that max torque value is 1150 lb ft. That's a standard rating for the CatC9 in tier 3. nothing special.
I was more impressed by the newer fendt making the same power and trq with only a 7.1L engine. What a different 6 years makes!

Andy Hass yeah fendt might produce more power out of a smaller engine but that engine is working a hell of a lot harder than the cats. As Well as the turbos going harder.. that's why fendts love blowing engines and turbos. Both are screwed to the nuts.

@@JohnDeerefan-fo1qp blowing engines and turbos? I think you have little idea what you're talking about and you seem to be a Deere fanboy maybe my reply is wasted. Im not the biggest fan of the current Deutz engine (7.8 Litre not 7.1) but that is not really one of its common issues. That CAT engine was very good, but wasn't tier 5 capable like the Deutz, it also burned a metric fuck tonne more fuel! Its not used in Challengers anymore which is a shame, the SISU lump is not nearly as reliable.
