Gina I peel my apples and pre cook them a little bit then allow them to get cold before I roll them up for baking. It take longer for the apple to cook before the crescent rolls get brown so I pre cook my apples just a little bit and allow them to get cold before making my dumplings. I also add a little sugar butter and nutmeg to my pot so my apples can be sweetened and flavored good before I make my dumplings. It just easier to me to do them this way.
Yum!! I have not had apple dumplings but may give this delicious recipe a try. Apples are great when they're served warm in the fall. Popping open those rolls makes me cautious but once it opens on the first try, it's all good! TFS! 🍏❤🍏

Do you have to keep the skin on the apple 🍏 and can you use red apple 🍎 too? Yummy 😋. Yes ice cream 🍨 with it lord have mercy.
Now that Looks so good. It makes me think of a cold rainy Fall day or a wintery day with snow blowing in the wind on a raw cold night. This is a perfect dish for these days coming up with weather changes. All of your recipes are good any time of the year.
