Haven't had much problems bleeding fish. The hammerheads here go more crazy for the bait tube.

What’s that plastic strip you have on the bait hook you put on the nose?
It just helps retain the wire stinger because it's just looped over the point of the front hook.
how many baits can you put in your bait holder
Depends on the size. can probably fit like 9 or 10 seven inch kine. The bigger 12-14 inch baits can only fit like 4 maybe.
What fish bag are you using????
Canyon Tournament King. Its pretty decent but if you have lots of space on your kayak might be worth using one that has more of a pocket at the bottom so it can hold more ice/fish

@@956texasfishing I only have experience with the Canyon TKC-1 and the Hobie Large fish bag and the Canyon is definitely solid. The hobie bag can't fit a big ono or mahi without having the tail stick out

Why do you hit the tuna on the head rather than knife them in the brain?
Batting is safer. If it goes crazy with a knife sticking out of the head easy recipe for disaster.

One would think there is got to be a better way to kill them.
I could bring it aboard and brain spike it with my knife but that's really dangerous with larger fish. They kick so strongly could easily injure a kayaker or break gear.
