I love Australia. I’ve been there three times. Beautiful country and great people, but I don’t miss the bugs and snakes...lol. I saw a huge Huntsman spider. Probably as big as my hand. I was told it’s not dangerous to humans, but that spider was nasty looking...lol
Huntsman spiders definitely look scary, but they're really our friends. They create no spider webs, so your house doesn't get all messy, but they hunt and eat the more dangerous creepy crawlies. Your house is actually better off for their presence if youll have them. Theyll protect you for dangerous critters, and they wont make a mess while they do it. I deliberately leave them alone in my house so they can be natures bug bomb.

@@sarah_w5195 Some people don't cope and they spray all spiders. I am not too afraid so I leave them be. And Australias are just used to them. Like for me it's crazy scary to me that in the US you have rabies virus and bears. And coyotes! We have nothing big here that would attack people, and even if a small thing bit us, they don't have rabies. But in the US they are used to it and aren't afraid.
That is an amazing frog! Truly gorgeous little guy!

Can you imagine a spider genetically engineered with funnel web DNA, jumping spider DNA and garden spider DNA?
Bite. Your. Tongue.
Dont let doctor fucking wu know hell make it happen
But why the garden spider though?
@@itzmenik6089 Probably just because they look intimidating. Garden spiders are the kind where their legs make more like an X-shape. They aren’t harmful at all, but I admit I find them creepier than common spiders.
See, people like you are the reason we can't have Jurassic Park.
I wonder how many they managed to capture during the toadlet study
many more than they’d like to
Their grins beforehand says it all 😂 no acting there! and you would expect funnelwebs to be out not just with the rain, but because frogs are what they like to hunt. You find froggies or lizzies, you find these.
Just love watching this guy tackle god knows what each vid but he is so engaging and knowledgeable we know we are in for a treat. We in the UK have nothing like these wonderful creatures so i watch from my sofa holding my breath. Tim your a legend.

I just want to cuddle up a million of those frogs 🐸 so cute!
Interesting when they talked about whether the frogs had been hurt. I remember reading an article about the funnel web saying that they're only deadly to humans and invertebrates (their natural prey). Dogs, cats and even guinea pigs and baby birds can survive their bites quite easily as they can naturally neutralise the venom. Apparently it's just bad luck for humans.
100%
Yep. Humans and other primates are for some reason evolutionarily unlucky in this case.
I’m surprised at how little venom they inject
ayo it can kill 30 adults from one drop

@Elaine Cuenca I was playing and felt something and shouted out for my brother who quickly saw it was a dangerous spider and got our parents and they rushed me into hospital. Ladies and gentlemen.
Welcome to the great outdoors.
Btw I’m putting this on every vid I c.
After watching all of the bondi rescue video’s I am onto the next addiction
I actually used to feed some of those invasive spotted red lantern flies to funnel weaving spiders carefully though. They’ll eat two to three spotted red lantern flies on their own.
We have here in Brazil a super aggressive hunting spider that jumps on you when threatened with very similar and potent venom. Search for "aranha armadeira" (Phoneutria) the wandering spider. Found one in my bedroom last month. It jumped from the wall in my direction, very scary stuff
Ah yes, The Brazilian Wandering Spider, AKA Banana Spider. That's the one you're talking about, right?
Defensive, not aggressive. Spiders will never aggressively seek out and attack humans. Defensive nature is when we approach them and they feel threatened and feel the need to defend themselves
😃
the wandering spider is more venemous but takes an hour till u die, the funnel web has a different type of neurotoxin that only takes 15 minutes till u die, but somehow not as venemous. Also funnel webs come in contact with humans alot more so the funnel web is far more dangerous than the wandering spider.
New horror movie material! That sounds terrifying!
You guys seem so friendly (:
I post this on many videos but that looks one mean spider . I can't imagine the shock and pain you would feel being bitten by those fangs!
A friend of mine was bitten by a funnel web spider twice in succession, she said the pain was indescribable and she was a strong person who already had severe health issues for many years prior to the bite. She survived the bite, but not the incurable cancer she developed years later.
@@antoinettenovella1630 that doesn't surprise me at all . Sorry for your loss

Please show how the antivenom is made from all the captured venomous animals.
Just be brave and be strong
Oh my goodness! A tarantula is lurking while every human gets into the R.E.M cycle.
This is very different than milking snake venom. But cool thing they don't electrocute the Spoidah like I've seen in other farms.
Very true when they bite they hang on tight due to the lenght and arc of its fangs....you can't shake it off you have to pull it off .
Tim is giving off Steve Irwin vibes, or is the other way round, lol, in a really good way!!

Scary & life saving, I like it! 💙💙 I love this show. I'd love to work outside with wildlife & am seriously considering finding a masters program in MN :')
@Ryan McNamara Shut up.
The little frogs are beautiful, with their red backs and black-and-white spotted bellies. I'm glad the spiders didn't kill those that were in the trap(s).
the spider knows not to even go near it as they're poisonous whereas spiders n snakes are venomous
Love this show

I love these!
So many great vets are on this show, it's there job innit 😂
And now I feel things on my face
How many times are they gonna post the same video
This guy makes me think of Steve Irwin when it comes to crocodiles
How can this be new if I already saw it?
When he said how many spiders it took to make what little was in the vial, all I could think was, “I hope the vials made of plastic.”
The settlers must've loved the funnel web bc they build Sydney on the funnel webs favourite spot and apparently the Aborigines tried to worn them not to
I'd scream like a cat being dragged down a highway and stamp on the spiders if I were there.
Who drags cats down the highway?
I love you man, excited to catch spider, with a specific goal in mind. Help save countless lives with antivenom. Good the hell on ya mate. Keep being a savior
I like how the toad guy says "now he won't get 1 or 2 bites" from any of the spiders yet 1 would probably enough.
Everytime I watch a video about spiders it's me trying to beat my fear of them 😅
People are never attacked deliberately by most venomous creatures, It's only by accident or if provoked do they strike out which is good to know. The world would be a lot more of a dangerous place if they deliberately sought you out to attack you.
I’m glad venomous creatures don’t deliberately attack people. 😅 It’s just like that old saying: “if you don’t provoke them, they won’t attack you.” Or something like that. 🤔 Either way, if you ever see a venomous creature, leave it alone and don’t try to provoke it, or you could get attacked.
Its usually an accident
You mean Australia will be called Hostile-lia and become such a dangerous place
THREE? THAT'S INSANE!!
8 legs or no legs? Hahahaha, loved that bit!
That man is probably holding $100,000 in venom given it takes a thousand spiders to make that little
Careful. Spiders do not usually like having their fangs messed with. Good luck with the venom program.👍
I think they know more then you considering he does this for a living. 😆

Big spiders!! Thank god I live in Canada.
There's one spider that has even more deadly venom than the funnel web its the Brazilian wandering spider but it rarely comes into contact with humans its venom is worse than the funnel web but what makes the funnel web spider so deadly it constantly comes into contact with humans thats why it was named the world's deadliest spider even though the Brazilian wandering spider is way more deadly its all about how many people come into contact with them and the funnel web not only comes into contact with people constantly but its aggressive as heck so pretty much thats what makes it so deadly im in America and I think Australians are awesome so many animal experts in Australia that are so awesome I just had to subscribe this channel is just too cool to pass up
