Great video! My biggest problem with this board, riding all my other boards just seems boring now! The speed, acceleration, range, and build quality are just top notch. After riding my NYX for a week I charged up the Ares and took it out for a ride. I was convinced I had dropped a few cells our something was wrong with the ESC, but no everything was fine, I was so used to the acceleration of the NYX everything else just seems slow. As for battery sag, even at 2 bars showing it will rip up to 32-33mph and I mean pull strong not slowly inch up to the top speed. Customer service is top notch as well, I am selling all my other boards and only keeping my Ares and NYX.
Esk8 con is going to amazing. Can't wait to see your board, Acedeck is on fire with their choices. 2023 is going to be a good year.

thanks for all your hard work on your well made videos, speaking about cut outs mine did that 3 times when I still had 50 percent battery.(miles away from home) thought it was just a battery charging issue. Mahalos again

great Scott. as always, a great post in very good quality with the information, fantastic ambience because of the chic area and finally a range test. BUT it is a mountain board and potential buyers and prospects are probably more interested in off-road than pavement. do you think you could do a range test with off-road? in your first video of the NXY Z1 you also said "I should mount a binding and then do another video". That would make me happy - I'm sure many others would too

Hey. How does the Nyx-Z1 compare to the endeavor pro particular regarding off-road comfort/performance The reason I ask: I have a titan x but am thinking about upgrading as the no flex carbon deck is hard work on bumpy tracks (and I worry about scrapping the bottom) . Still want do stable 50km/h+ on road though like the titan ( It's hard not being able to test drive this stuff. Sorry for the longwinded question.)

I hadn't heard of these boards until I stumbled on your videos yesterday. My question is does the battery pack ever get in the way? I see the Atlas Pro has an optional pack too. Having not ridden a board with a pack on top, I'm curious if it bangs against your feet or shins at all? Cheers!

This company seems incredible. For this particular board do you feel like the battery on top is an issue? I hate the aesthetics of it, but I realize that it does worlds for ground clearance, too. Give and take.

I gotta ask about the box again .. how much weight can it take? Doesn't it get in the way? The ESC box seems like it compounds that restrictive foot placement. I figure we both have about a 12-13 US shoe - Doesn't look like enough room to do a more ski-stance which I find helps with fatigue - which I get pretty easily with flat feet on a Zeus carbon deck and heavy thumb if you take my meaning.
Love to see acedeck z1 VS ecomobl tellum 4wd. Can't make a decision, or is there a better cheap offroad beast

Doing my best to get to esk8 con i really wanna go, iv never been on a plane or to vegas before but I suppose your 16 hour flight is worst than my 6 so I cant use that excuse lol.
I don't know which to get, I like to cruse and carve while every now and again going well off the beaten path

I'm new to this stuff and I was hoping to get some advice as I'm beyond the normal range for the boards I have seen. I'm 6ft 4 with a us 13-14 shoe, I weigh around 120kg and I need it to be at least very water resistant as I live in London. Is this possible?

No this is the 90a and to be honest I don’t see any reason for more amps 😂
Unless you want to fully race the board it’s already nuts
@@scottdaviesyoutube according to the site the 14S5P Molicel P42A is 120A. The 14S4P Samsung 40T is 90A. I got a bit confused as you mentioned you are riding the 14S5P but here you are saying it is 90A. Did you mean it's 120A? Great vid as always :)

Nope. This has a Samsung battery, not Molicel.

hate to break it to ya but Evolve is generally considered to be a lower quality e-skate brand thanks to their ESC's having a habit of slamming the brakes. I believe at least 3 riders have died due to this.
