All our new boards have a gasket that keeps the bushing screw from moving at all :) No more falling bushing screw. For older batches, as others have said below, purple loctite should do the trick, or some tape around the bushing screw!

Scott - I am a huge fan of your reviews. Currently live in Puebla MX. I am a fan of Acedeck, their CNC and quality makes me feel better about bashing their boards on these awful Mexican roads. On your recommendations, I have bought the S1, Stella Mini and the Nomad 90A. I am ready for an upgrade - I am torn between the N3 nomad or just spending the extra for the NYZ. Either way - it's a good problem to have.
Great update! Glad to see they addressed the tolerance issues. I actually cancelled my order because of this and got the Lorentz Major. I do love it but almost wish I wouldn't have been impatient and waited for Acedeck to release the V2. Cheers!
Thread loctite - over 700km now on NYX Z1, all offroad trails no issues apart from gear drive bearings need maintenance as the thin bearings tend to suck in dust/dirt, wheel bearings & motors fine. Get the bindings you'll love it more!
Wrap that bushing screw with electrical vinyl tape. About 5 times around, make sure sure you wrap it the same way it tightens. Cut off excess tape. Then apply blue loctite and you are all set. My bushing screws have not moved at all and it's been 500miles and counting.
Teflon should work but the electrical tape is to make the gap alot tighter inside the hole in the bushing. There's no thread in there. Just the smooth shaft of the grub screw. That's why I still put the loctite on the threaded part. It's actually 675miles now and still haven't moved at all 😊
I haven't lost a grub screw yet but I'm constantly checking them, be nice if there was room for a jam nut, maybe they'll redesign in the future, I've thought about trying safety wire, just too lazy to get the drill out. Probably gonna sell Z3 and try the N3, I don't really need the suspension.
We all got free upgraded swing arms because someone had a failure, ACEDECK went over the top for all of us that bought boards and gave us ALL A new set!! If you’re thinking of buying the new Z3 trust me, DO IT! AceDeck will take care of you if you have any issues, which you rarely do. I’ve never had an issue and I beat the shit out of mine 😂
So after watching this last night I believe I came up with a solution to the screws falling out...I'll try to find your socials and send you a pic but basically I took an alan head screw same thread count and same length...machined the head to look like the screws that came with the board...then drilled a hole in the head of the bolt to allow tie wire to go through both screws...once screwed into place and tie wired together their is no way for them to back out...I'll do my best to send you a pic...by the way thanks for the great video...I purchased this board because of your review so much appreciated...also I love the board.

I chickened out and got the x1 . Great board, with heaps of go and stop . Will go for a ride at minnippi and see if I can find that off road track it has escaped me to this point . Nice to see you give range spec and style to suit .
Sorry I forgot about the Allen keys . I carry a set of gorilla folding keys . Or a set designed for bikes . I agree about the danger of coming off and stabbing yourself. Would not be good .
Thank you for the video, I bought starter esk as I was hoping this finally can carry fast riding for 60+ km. But I couldn't stay up to my mates with EUC even with this one. Just too little range :( Perhaps the Z4 will have what it takes.
I remember a segment in a video from Vegas highlighting the Z5. I've been excited since. 6 months is a long time to wait! I need a new board now! Ahh I hope somebody does something with some unheard of range abilities soon.
Hey, can anyone answer this for me? Can you take the battery box off easily? The reason I’m asking is that would be awesome for us to live in cold climates I could leave the board in my garage during the winter and the box inside.
What do you think about this vs the upcoming Propel X4R? I’m trying to decide whether to get the Z3 or X4R. I think the only disadvantage of the Z3 is its 2WD.
Scott!!!! What is your favorite board today? I’ve been watching your channel and a few others. I thought I was down to two boards for my choice. The new endurance 2.0 or the Endevor2 GT gear drive. Just found this board and very interested. Out of those three which one do you prefer? I have the Hurricane right now with 500 miles on it and I only get 16-20 miles range. I’m 210 lbs and ride on asphalt and packed gravel
If loctite won't do the trick then Acedeck needs to tap set screws for those. I really can't believe they don't already have this. There is so much room for them to redesign that plate and add set screws. Any screw like this that is used to adjust tension will be loose by design since riders are playing with them to adjust the bushing tension I assume. A set screw coming in at a perpendicular angle that makes contact with the bushing screw once you have them where you want them would stop this. Loctite should work, but it's not the best solution. Push on Acedeck to fix it. I'll be watching to see if they address it. I'm not far from getting this board... but I am going to wait for everything to be ironed out first. Sitting on a scooter that I first batched and I'm done being an early adopter for a bit.
Very nice board. I love my N3. I’ve put 700 miles on it. Just regressed the gears, it does seem a little noisy. Have you had any problems with the gear drive?
I enjoy riding my N3 as well. It’s so smooth and easy to carve. Everything feels premium and well thought out. But I only feel comfortable riding it on street or smooth dirt. I’m thinking about picking up a Z3 for rougher terrain.
@@cassysamel3914 I agree with you on this. I ride 6 inch novas on the street and use 7 inch novas for off road but I still have to ride slower because I’ve almost fallen going too fast off road. The Z3 sounds perfect for these off road conditions

Blue lock tight works just fine sitting at 150 miles lost 2 at around 50miles board now has just over 200miles
maybe mine is old, I brought it like 8 years ago, ill try a fresh bottle this weekend

I'd say use plumbers tape which is specifically made for threads.

What's your shoe size? I wear size 12 mens US and I'm worried about not having enough space with the largest battery. Any advice?

Not really but they are launching a quick release very soon for the NYX range so yea it will be a 5 second task
