In my region, in Italy, we make the same thing but we add a ton of grated cheese into the mix and, after frying, we simmer them in tomatoe sauce which makes them extra juicy. 100% recommended

Nice addition to the recipe. I would have added cheese anyway into the mixture and the tomato sauce sounds very yummy!

in austria: we add sauted onions and a strong tasting cheese in the mix and form discs in the size of a burger - they are called kaaspressknödl

Foolish Eggs reminds me of a dish my late MIL (Spanish ancestry, came to the US from PR in ‘61) would make from leftovers. She was an incredible cook. When she would make breaded chicken, she would mix any leftover breadcrumbs and beaten egg together, pour it into the hot pan, and cook up one serving, that we would fight over.

Added a bit of cumin (by mistake) and then added a small bit of cheddar cheese that I wanted to use up. This dish was a big hit in my house. Thanks so much for sharing this easy recipe

Reminds me of a German dish called Eierschmalz. Cut the stale bread in cubes, put in milk, eggs and a good amount of nutmeg, salt and pepper, and parsley. Butter an oven proof glass bowl and bake in the oven. If you like it heartier, put in onions (NO GARLIC , well you can if you want to but not in the original recipe). I personally add zucchini cubes and some raw cabbage cut in small stripes. It is less greasy and feeds many. But I will try these too, minus the garlic.

Simple, delicious bread fritters. Use up the stale bread! I really like these are savory, and not sweet. They would be perfect next to tomato soup, or, even better, a cream based chowder, and you can forgo the dipping sauce. Thank you for your time and effort to show us how to eat well with little enough. No need for constant trips to the grocery.

Those kinds of things should also work if frozen after cooking. Then you stick them into your microwave plus a little bit of added grill while you shower and they should be nice and ready when you are. If your microwave doesn't have a grill they might lose a bit of crunch, though.

Hi mate, I've commented on one of Your previous clips with scrambled eggs and zucchini (which was brilliant), but this time something else caught my eyes and it deeply concerned me. Over last few videos I've noticed that your hands are shaking - pretty bad. Even in this video, you made this little sauce cup rattling like crazy on the serving dish. If you're not magnesium depleted, i would go to see a doctor and check for diabetes. Please do not ignore my post and see your doc as soon as possible.
