I've been playing since the game's launch. I know I had fairly good luck with the mystic toilet. But I've never had any of the big time item drops from the events. Not until I played my alt account. Dang it I only made this alt account to raid more than once per week. But I feel it has better luck than my main. It got the Ghostly Infusion from Gorseval, which I never got while playing my main. Ascended items are pretty easy to come by while playing my alt on raids. And recently I got the Invisible Boots from the TM in Auric Basin. Unbelievable.
I literally just saw this video, did Drakkar for the first time ever and BOOM! Amalgamated! I'm listening to you in the background from now on haha great content man
I must be very unlucky in the entire playtime of this game I've never had anything valuable drop. The single most valuable item I had was Abyss Dye one time long ago, which at the time was about 10g.
why spend millions on advertising when you can tweak the numbers for a streamer account and have the content creator be your free billboard. 3000 iq move by anet

Second time I opened it I got an infusion, the 3rd time I opened it I got the Charr helm. Shortly after I decided the make a legendary. I decided to drop 40 gold, and buy exotic shields to try and obtain the flame seeker precursor. About the 7th toss in the mystic forge, I got it. I did it one more time and got another one. Too bad it was an offhand and not the dagger or something. Anywho that’s my luck story
I thought I was doing good to have gotten 17 Tequatl's Hoards over 6 years I have almost never had to actually make ascended weapons I just change the stats on these and still have one sitting in my bank to be used
I wish I could do fractals or group content but I don't have a guild or group of friends that I play with. I feel like there is so much great content that I'm missing out on
I agree with the others, and teapot, just give it a go! As long as you are level 80 and have exotic gear for tier 1 no problem at all, sure you may die a few times, but tier 1 is learning fractals What have you got to lose?

That's what the lfg is for! Give it a try, you will be happy that you did.
Definitely use the lfg tool for fractals, tier 1-2 is very easy to do.

CMs sometimes fail though
