    Love this girl, I don't know her but she just seems so sweet and shares everything in such a kind and genuine way. Also really important and nice of her to share the reminder that it's ok to "refeed" and listen to body's ques and need for more/less food at times.

    So nice to see that you genuinely says and shows what you eat according to your body feelings and need, whiteout pushing Paleo or Zone or No Carbs…It is refreshing to see that you eat like a human being. Thank you!

    Waking up at 1 am hungry was my normal when I was on a calorie restrictive diet.
    Stopped that real fast.

    Great video. It was helpful to hear that that sometimes your body needs more than you think. Solid choices on the life cereal and pbj. Cinnamon life cereal is one of my go to’s when I need a treat...I buy individual servings to help with portion control. I may have to try the optigreens...been thinking about it...

    This was very helpful to see! A top CrossFit athlete recently shared what they eat in a day and it really didn’t seem like much considering the amount of training they do, being a CrossFit competitor like yourself. Also, thanks for sharing your late night snack! Shows your human 👯‍♀️ and it was also a great message for us to listen to our bodies rather than always being super strict with calories and macros. Thanks again!

    My daily breakfast 2.6oz plain oatmeal with 1 scoop of whey isolate and water. After cooked 2-4oz cups of mixed fruit (drain juice out, hidden sugars) mix fruit in oatmeal. I do not drink coffee (caffeine sensitive) instead drink 23oz water. This is one of the reasons why I enjoy following you both, down to earth common sense info, everybody's different, trial and error, test it out. So cool! Thank you.

    Thank you ma'am! So honest, and i think it fits my randomness as well. I used to eat less before I started scaled workouts, it was okay. Then I started entering into 2 scaled workouts in random days, it was still okay but felt I have moods or splat at night. Then there was scaled+, from here there is week or two that I was so energy less and I was not sure whats happening and I did not consider my food intake. When I ate a little bit more, my mood started to change slowly and I can sustain throughout the day. I will continue to find the right food and output balance. anyway just blabbing along. Thank you again.

    I'm 185, and have been doing Intermittent Fasting (14:10) for two months, which is really awesome by the way...increased energy, production, and feel, but I do hit the end of the day sometimes and still have MACROS to get. Sometimes I really want them, but usually I end up eating after my "FED" window (11am-9pm), and then I feel like I'm cheating. Thanks for reminding that you gotta listen to the BOD!

    Great information on what you eat for breakfast & late at night. I still eat the same thing for breakfast. Is it good to have a drink during training or should I have something to eat as well? I normally tried to load up on calories based off of what is available for me to eat on that given day. I agree with you 100% that everybody is different. I DEFINITELY need to add more calories because there is times when I do feel cranky

    Great information thank you! Lately I have been really hungry even after eating all of my calories/macros for the day. I'm making sure I have a glass of water before I eat more and I felt so guilty for eating more. Its good to know i'm not the only one and this is probably my body telling me I need to re-feed.

    Don’t bother with the mL setting on the scale, it just goes 1mL = 1g, which corresponds to the density of water at 25C (and of most water-based stuff we drink, the differences are too minute to matter for kitchen scales anyway)

    Ma’am I eat exactly at similar times you guys do. Now I am not a Bodybuilder or Power Lifter or CrossFit or Strongman person like you guys. I am just a regular dude who’s a Navy Veteran/Hospital Corpsman and just want to mainly stay in shape and compete in some of those sports but mainly marathons and triathlons and ultramarathons and Spartan Races and a few Battlefrog Races each year. But my eating habits are like you two and your friends who also eat and train like you. I don’t eat what you eat, but eating times are the same. Go Navy! If and when I go to Ohio later on, I will have to drive over from Dayton and check out your gym and get a few hours of exercise in. It looks nice! I saw an episode where you and your husband put up bars that resemble a gauntlet training course. If still up, will hit shit for sure. That was fucking awesome and amazing by you two to do that. Again you guys inspire us all to be better versions of ourselves. Massive Iron by Steve Shaw is damn good too! Y’all rock!

      Kristi and Pat are very transparent on their lifestyle which does include supplements. I believe that they are not “shilling” as much as sharing what works for them. She is a pro athlete so she has sponsors. You can’t make a living with the CrossFit purses unless you win The Games, Rogue and Dubai. Lower placements just don’t pay the bills. Pat and her also run a CrossFit Polaris with her mom. She works her tail off and still finds time to share what works with us. You may have been poking a bit but you have to understand that she truly values us as followers and is very responsive to our comments. She really does care about our fitness and would not steer us to a product just because they pay her. I think she does a great job of standing behind the products she uses on the daily.

    • @built4u2
      @built4u2 3 роки тому

      @@Fergushow Thank you for your response. I'm not sure why you are detailing Kristi's values and lifestyle as if you know her personally. It comes across like you are trying to defend her but rest assured that my comment was not trying to attack her. I was rooting for her to place in the top 5 of Stage 1. My comment was short so I can see how it may be misinterpreted. I was just leveling because you know how much she has a camera in her face and how easy it would be to make a video detailing what she eats in a day. I just think the endorsing and advertising game is comical when you read between the lines. It would be cool if she could just come out and say, "hey guys, nobull sponsors me but here are the reasons I've chosen them as a sponsor..." Instead, sponsors have too much power as if they choose their athletes and dictate what they say so that most people are being advertised to and don't even realize it.
