We moved to Cardiff in 1975. I was shocked how grim & desperate it seemed. I’ve never moved, and can appreciate how much it’s improved
Always remember the smell from the Brewery & the Outspan oranges @ the market.

Yes, and I hate it too...not least because the music came with the original film and it is copyrighted, so the film has to have adverts on it which I can't stand either!
My Aunt worked in the cigar factory.
I pulled my first teeth in UHW Dental School in '75. 😂
So many strikes during the James Callaghan era.
Because of greedy unscrupulous employers.

People used to make stuff everywhere.....I wish we could bring local industry back.
